신제품 개발에서 신기술 및 모듈화 도입이 기업수익에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석

고객의 요구나 선호도가 다양해짐에 따라 제품의 다양화가 필요하지만, 이는 오퍼레이션스 의 비효율성이 야기될 수 있어 기업의 중요 관심사가 되고 있다. 따라서 원활한 오퍼레이션스 기능 수행을 위해 기업들은 제품의 모듈화 구조를 도입해 왔다. 하지만 신제품 개발 과정에서 모듈화의 효 과를 계량적으로 분석한 연구는 미흡하다. 이에 본 연구는 기존 제품에 신기술이 포함된 부품이 도입 되는 제품개발의 상황에서 모듈화가 기업의 수익에 미치는 영향에 관한 계량모델을 개발하고 이를 분 석하여 몇 가지 중요한 명제를 도출함으로써 신제품 개발 시 고려해야 할 신기술 도입 및 모듈화의 의사결정에 필요한 가이드라인을 제시하였다. 연구 결과, i) 제품의 업그레이드가 용이하거나, ii) 외부 요인으로 인해 제품의 가격이 높게 책정되어야 할 경우, iii) 신기술 투자비용의 효과가 불확실할 경우, 모듈화 수준을 높이는 노력이 필요하고, 모듈화에 대한 수요탄력성이 낮은 제품의 신제품 개발 시에 는 신기술 도입의 투자비용을 늘리는 것이 바람직하다.

서비스 산업의 고도화로 인한 기업 간 경쟁의 심화와 가속화는 서비스 소비자들이 원하는 서비스의 품질 수준을 높였고, 이러한 소비자의 동향은 급변하는 기술의 수용과 코로나19라는 특별한 상황을 감안해야 하는 공공영역의 서비스 제공 환경에도 적지 않은 영향을 미치고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 『ISO18091:2019』을 기반으로 행정안전부에서 개발한 공공서비스 품질관리 프레임워크를 기초로 개발된 교육교재를 활용하여 공공기관의 종사자를 대상으로 교육을 한 후 설문을 통해 교재의 적용 가능성을 검토하였고, 실제 개선활동에 참여한 공공기관 종사자를 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행한 필드스터디 결과를 바탕으로, i)데이터 활용 및 검증, ii)공공서비스의 광범위성, iii)서비스 제공기관의 규모/역량의 세 가지 관점에서 공공서비스 품질 수준을 제고하기 위해 고려해야 하는 시사점과 가이드라인을 제시하였다.

공공서비스 품질 수준 향상을 위한 프레임워크 구축 및 정책 로드맵의 제안

본 연구는 정부, 지방자치단체 및 공공기관이 제공하는 공공서비스에 과학적이고 체계적인 품질관리 기법을 전파하면서 일선 현장의 품질관리 업무에 활용하고자 개발한 교육용 교재를 소개하고, 교재 내용 및 서비스 품질관리에 대한 이해를 높이고자 진행한 온라인 교육과 컨설팅의 효과를 파악하기 위해 실시한 설문 결과를 제시하면서 공공 분야의 서비스 품질을 개선하기 위해 필요한 정책적 가이드라인과 로드맵을 제시하고자 한다. 행정안전부는 공공서비스 분야에 기존의 성과관리시스템을 탈피한 체계적이고 능동적인 서비스 제공 체제를 정착시키기 위해 2016년부터 여러 가지 정책연구 및 연구용역을 진행해왔고, 2021년부터는 정책적·제도적 법규를 마련하여 일선 공공기관에서 서비스 품질관리의 개념에 기초한 서비스 수준 고도화를 위해 다양한 프로그램이 시행될 예정이다. 본 연구는 이렇게 진행되고 있는 일련의 프로그램 중 일부의 결과로, 일선 공공기관에 서비스 품질관리 업무를 보편화하고 정책적으로 수행하기 위한 가이드라인을 담은 로드맵을 제공하고자 2020년도에 수행되었다. 공공서비스는 고객의 니즈를 충족시키고자 제공되는 점에서 일반 기업의 품질관리와 공통점을 갖고 있지만, 공익 및 공공성을 우선시하기 때문에 서비스 실패 방지와 개선을 위한 활동은 미흡한 특징을 갖고 있다. 따라서 공공 분야의 서비스 품질 향상은 이러한 특성을 고려해서 수행되어야 하며, 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 반드시 필요하다고 판단되는 핵심 활동 및 요소를 포함하여 프레임워크 및 로드맵을 제안하였다.

An Integrated New Product Development Model with an Overlapping Sales Period for Existing and New Products

Decision making for new product development (NPD) has become more crucial today for firms' survival and growth in the competitive market. This research examines the situation in which the performance quality level of a new product is incrementally improved from that of an existing product and both products are sold for a period between entry time of a new product and exit time of an existing product. This problem of an overlapping sales period between existing and new products which was not explored in previous studies is particularly important in practice for developing or promoting a new product faced with either short product life-cycle or fast clockspeed, because cannibalization problem occasionally appears between the two products. Therefore, we develop an integrated analytical model to simultaneously determine important factors in NPD decision-making, including the price, performance quality level, and development resource input and time of a new product, along with the exit time of an existing product, in order to maximize profit during the development and sales period. Then we solve optimally the model which involves complex trade-offs among the decision variables, using MAPLE and LINGO. Through sensitivity analyses, we provide important theoretical and managerial implications on NPD.

공급사슬 리스크 관리 연구동향 분석: 네트워크분석을 중심으로

Recently, most firms have difficulties in predicting business context due to uncontrollable factors such as natural disasters, terrorism, social and political interests, as well as market factors such as rapid technological change, diversification of customer needs, and intensification of competition with competitors, thereby increasing the importance of risk management. The purpose of this study is to analyze trends of the risk management field concentrating on SCM, which is increasingly interested, and to identify key researches in this field and provide useful academic information. This study collected the information of the articles published in journals using the Scopus database, and analyzed both the network generated by keywords proposed in the articles and the network generated by the information for citations and co-authorship.

EU 공급망 실사법의 이해와 전략적 대응에 대한 고찰

본 연구는 2024년부터 유럽연합(European Union, EU) 국가에서 시행 예정인 공급망 실사법의 개념, 배경, 관련 선행연구들을 분석하고, 이에 대응하기 위한 전략과 실행 방안을 고찰하여 시사점을 제공하고 있다. EU는 인권, 환경, 고용 등의 영역에서 지속가능 공급망 관리 실사의무를 법제화 하였으며, EU에서 거래하는 일정 규모 이상의 기업들은 법적 구속력과 의무를 부여받게 된다. 따라서 적용대상 국내 기업들이 공급망 실사법에 대한 전략적 대응방안을 모색하는 것은 시급하고 중대하다. 하지만 실사법에 대한 국내 기업들의 전략적 대응수준은 낮으며, 중소․중견 기업일수록 더욱 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 ISO 경영시스템과 공급망 실사법의 실사 영역을 접목하여 공급망 실사에 대응하기 위한 가이드라인을 제시하였으며, 향후 공급망 실사에 대비를 위한 전략적 대응방안과 연구과제들을 고찰하였다. This paper examines in detail the Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDDD) to be implemented by Europe Union (EU) from 2024, and provides insights into response strategies and execution tasks. The EU plans to apply the CSDDD to all companies trading in the EU region while legislating the directive on sustainable supply chain management based on due diligence for human rights, environment, employment, etc. This implies the paradigm shift of emphasizing on supply chain transparency including legal binding and obligations, rather than voluntary corporate activities. Even though the Korean firms also need to thoroughly prepare for managerial ways to respond to the CSDDD, their response level is low and that of SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) is even more insufficient. Thus, we suggest the guidelines combining ISO management system with the due diligence areas of the CSDDD, and propose strategic roadmap which can be used as a reference for preparing for the CSDDD.

공공서비스의 품질수준 제고를 위한 실무적 제언

서비스 산업의 발전과 기업 경쟁의 심화는 소비자가 이용하는 서비스의 질적 요구 수준을 높였고 코로나19로 인한 비대면 서비스가 보편화되면서 이러한 소비자의 성향은 서비스 제공 환경에 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 이러한 변화의 연장선상에서 공공서비스에 대한 소비자의 니즈와 요구사항은 과거에 비해 다양/복잡해지면서 이를 파악하고 선제적으로 대응하는 서비스 제공 체계가 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 공공서비스의 품질수준을 제고하기 위해 고려해야 하는 실무적 접근법을 제시한다. 이를 위해 『ISO18091:2019』을 기반으로 행정안전부에서 개발한 공공서비스 품질관리 프레임워크를 소개하고, 이를 활용하여 실제 공공기관의 직원들을 대상으로 실시한 필드스터디의 결과를 제시하면서 실무적 시사점과 가이드라인을 제시한다.

키워드 네트워크 분석을 이용한 NPD 연구의 진화 및 연구동향

오늘날 기업은 기술의 급속한 발전, 고객의 다양한 요구로 인해 높은 불확실성과 경쟁상황에 놓여 있다. 이러한 기업 환경 속에서 지속적인 경쟁우위와 미래 성장 동력을 확보하는 방안 중 가장 중요한 것이 NPD (신제품 개발)와 관련된 문제로, 이는 기업과 학계에 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 이에 본 연구는 NPD 분야의 기존 연구 흐름과 앞으로의 동향을 파악하여 NPD와 관련된 실무자와 연구자들에게 새로운 가치를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 Scopus 데이터베이스를 활용하여 해외 저명한 저널에 게재된 논문의 키워드를 수집하여 키워드 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 NPD 분야의 기존 연구 흐름을 파악할 수 있었고, 각 키워드 간의 연결 관계와 시간의 흐름에 따른 변화를 바탕으로 구체적인 연구주제들의 변화 과정을 제시하였다. 또한, NPD 분야에서 선호되는 키워드를 바탕으로 앞으로의 연구 동향을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 NPD 키워드 네트워크는 멱함수 법칙의 분포를 따르고 있는 좁은 세상 네트워크이고, 키워드의 선호에 의해서 링크가 형성되어 네트워크의 성장이 이루어졌음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 컴포넌트 분석 및 중심성 분석을 통해 NPD 키워드 네트워크에서는 주로 Innovation(혁신), New Product Innovation(신제품혁신), Risk Management(리스크 관리), Concurrent engineering(동시공학), Research and Development(연구개발), Product Life Cycle Management(제품 수명주기 관리) 등과 같은 키워드들이 중심성이 높음을 확인하였다. 한편, 시간의 흐름에 따른 키워드의 선호적 연결의 변화를 살펴본 결과, Innovation(혁신), New Product Introduction(신제품 출시), Project Management(프로젝트 관리) 등의 주제를 중심으로 i) 공급업체와 NPD 협업, ii) 시장의 불확실성을 고려한 NPD, iii) 기술경영 및 지식경영 분야와 통섭을 고려한 NPD, iv) 중소기업 관점의 NPD 등과 같은 주제의 연구가 요구됨을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 NPD의 연구 동향, 다른 분야와의 학제간 연구를 위한 새로운 연구주제를 결정하는데 유용하게 쓰일 수 있다. Today, many firms face the environment of high uncertainty and severe competition due to the rapid technology development and the diverse needs of customers. In this business environment, one of the most important ways to gain sustainable competitive advantage and future growth engine is related to NPD (New Product Development), which is a very important issue for practice and academia. Thus, this study intends to provide new values to practitioners and researchers related to NPD by analyzing current research trends and future trends in NPD field. For this, we bibliometrically analyzed keyword networks which consist of keywords that were already published in the eminent journals from Scopus database to generate insights that have not been captured in the previous reviews on the topic. As a result, we could understand the extant research streams in NPD field, and suggest the changes of specific research topics based on the connected relationships among keywords over the time. In addition, we also foresaw the general future research trends in NPD field based on the keywords according to preferential attachment processes. Through this study, it was confirmed that NPD keyword network is a small world network that follows the distribution of power law and the growth of network is formed by link formation by keyword preferential attachment. In addition, through component analysis and centrality analysis, keywords such as Innovation, New product innovation, Risk management, Concurrent engineering, Research and development, and Product life cycle management are highly centralized in NPD keyword network. On the other hand, as a result of examining the change of preferential attachment of keywords over the time, we suggested the required new research direction including i) NPD collaboration with suppliers, ii) NPD considering market uncertainty, iii) NPD considering convergence with the other academic areas like technology management and knowledge management, iv) NPD from SME(Small and medium enterprises) perspective. The results of this study can be used to determine the research trends of NPD and the new research themes for interdisciplinary studies with other disciplines.
