Energy levels and electron spin resonance fields along three principal axes for the ?? ions in the Korean synthetic quartz are calculated by the Cardan's method of a cubic equation. From the comparison of experimental data and calculated results,ESR parame-ters are determined as following:g=2.0032, D=-2.031 GHz, E=5.534 GHz, E=5.534GHz, F=-0.033GHz.

PAR model 155 VSM has been installed in order to measure magnetic moments in the range of 10? to 10 ? emu for magnetic field from -18to 18KG at the temperature between 77K and 1050 K by means of the following self-made accessories :coolant system, vacuum system, and liguidN? dewar. From the investigation of magnetic properties for Ni standard sample, Fe powder, and CoCl?.6H?O powder using the established VSM, we obtained the following results: Ni; σ?=54.8(293K), 58.1(77K) emu/g, Br=350G, Hc<100Oe,Tc=632K Fe; σ?=176(295K) emu/g, Br=580G, Hc<80 Oe, Tc=1040K CoCl?.6H?O; χmass=3.871(296K), 12.00(77K)X10? emu/g.Oe, Curie Const. =(10.7±0.5)x 10? emu.K/g.Oe

Complex dielectric constants of the V?O? .B?O?.Al?O? glass system have been investigated as a function of frequency from 400 to to 10?Hz and temperature 100 to to 400?k. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss decrease with increasing frequency when temperature is constant, and increase with increasing temperature.
열처리 및 보상이온의 주입에 의한 α-수정내의 S₁,S₁',S₁˝ 공명중심들의 변화

수정시편을 300℃, 400℃,500℃,530℃에서 각각 20시간씩 열처리한 후에 X밴드 전자 공명장치를 사용하여 α-수정내의 S?(1).S?',S?'' 세 공명중심들에 대한 열처리 조건에 따른 공명 신호들의 세기의 변화를 상온에서 조사하였다.열처리 효과로 S?'과 S?'' 공명중심들이 일부 S?(1)으로 전환되었다. 480℃에서 수정시편의 c축 방향으로 15ooV/cm의 전기장을 가하여 시편내에서 +1가의 보상이온들을 빼내거나, 500V/cm 와 1000V/cm의 전기장으로 Li+ 이온과 Na+이온을 각각 주입시킨 후에 공명신호들의 세기를 서로 비교하였다.한편 시편내에서 보상이온들을 빼내지 않고 400℃에서 20V/cm 와 50 V/cm의 약한 전기장으로La+이온을 주입시킨 경우와 200V/cm의 전기장으로 Na+이온을 주입시킨후에 공명신호들의 세기가 변화하는 모습을 조사하였다.Li+ 이온이 시편에 주입됨에 따라 세 공명중심들 모두 공명신호들의 세기가 증가하였으며, Na+이온이 주입된 경우에는 공명신호를의 세기가 크게 감소하였다. 열처리 효과와 전기장 처리의 결과로부터 세 공명중심들 모두 Li+이온에 의하여 전하가 보상되는 것으로 판명되었다. After heating a quartz sample for 20 hours at 300℃, 400℃, 500℃, and 530℃, respectively, the changes of resonances signal intensities of the centers S?(1), S?', and S?''in α-quartz according to the conditions of heat treatments were investigated at room temperature by employing an X-band electron spin resonance spectrometer. The centers S?' and S1'' were partly converted into S?(1) by the effect of heat treatments. After extracting positively monovalent ions from quartz samples by applying an electric field of 1500V/cm along the crystal c-axis at 480℃ and after electrodiffusing Li+ ions and Na+ ions into the samples with applied electric fields of 500 and 1000 V/cm, respectively, the intensities of resonance spectra were compared with each other. On the other hand a quartz sample was electrodiffused with Li+ ions at 400℃ with weak electric fields of 20 and 50V/cm and then implanted with Na+ions with an electric field of 200V/cm.As Li+ ions diffused into the sample, the intensities of all the three centers increased. But in the case of electrodiffusion with Na+ ions the resonance signals decreased by considerable. From the effect of heat treatment and the result of electrodiffusions it is proved that all the three centers are compensated by the Li+ion.
YBa₂Cu₃O 고온 초전도체에 대한 전자 스핀 공명 연구

High temperature superconductor YBa₂Cu₃O?? has been prepared by solid atate reaction method. The superconduction transiting temperature Tc determined by the temperature dependence of resistivity and magnetization is 92K. A diamagnstic susceptibility of 51% of the perfect diamagnetism is observed at 80 K. At this temperature, the lower critical field is about 1200e and the upper critical filed is extrapolated to be higher than 30kOe. ERS spectra were observed with an X-band spectrometer as a function of temperature from 300K to 80K. As the temperature decreases, the g value parallel to the symmetry axis decreases. Not only the spectrum of YBa₂Cu₃O?? at room temperature is in similarity to that of BaCuO₂but also the temperature dependences of them have the same tendency. The ERS signal in YBa₂Cu₃O?? turns out to originate from the impurity phase such as BaCuO₂.
소수력 발전 산업의 활성화를 위한 분류기준 재정립에 관한 연구

A technological advance has triggered both an increasing power consumption with electric power inflation and an environmental destruction. For solving these problems, this study suggests new renewable energy industry as alternative energy industry. To be clear, the new renewable energy industry makes the best use of natural environment in its natural state. Therefore, there are some advantages from environment-friendly industry and some disadvantage of unstable power production and supply owing to limitation of natural environment. For a development of new renewable energy industry as future-oriented industry, it should have been developed from a facility industry type with a large-scale planning site to a technology-intensive industry type with a small-scale planning site. So, it should consider an interrelationship between power plant capacity and related power grid. In the new renewable energy industry, the small hydro power plant has some limitation in investment and technical development due to ambiguous boundary with the medium and mini power plant. As a result, this study suggests new standard of classification and direction of development in associated industry based on its connectivity of electrical power systems.
