지속가능 경영을 위한 비재무적 정보(ESG) 공개와 대응

전 세계적으로 ‘코로나19’의 유행으로 기업 경영 환경의 불확실성이 커지고 있다. 이로 인해 최근 ESG가 각 기업 경영의 화두로 떠오르고 있으며, ESG와 같은 비재무적인 정보에 대한 공개 요구가 증가하고 있다. 국내 연기금들은 재무적 성과만으로 기업 가치를 판단하던 과거와 달리, 비재무적인 요소들을 함께 고려해 장기적으로 기업의 지속가능성 여부를 판단하는 책임투자를 확대하고 있다. 또한 기후 변화 위험에 대한 사회적 관심이 고조되는 등 다양한 요인들로 인해 ESG 정보 공개 필요성이 더욱 부각되고 있는 시점이다. 이미 해외에서는 2000년 대 초반부터 UN이 발표한 ‘UN 책임투자원칙’을 시작으로 ESG의 개념이 확산됐다. EU는 기업의 비재무정보 공개에 대한 지침을 제정하였고, 이를 공시토록 의무화하였다(2018). 이러한 흐름에 발맞춰 국내에서도 최근 한국거래소에서 ‘ESG 정보공개 가이던스’를 제정 발표하였고(‘21.01), 이로 인해 각 기업의 ESG정보 공개 의무화가 예상됨에 따라 국내외 동향 및 공시 현황을 확인해보고자 한다. The global trend of "Corona 19" is raising uncertainties in the corporate management environment. As a result, ESG has recently emerged as a hot topic for each company's management, and the demand for disclosure of non-financial information such as ESG has increased. Unlike in the past, domestic pension funds have expanded their responsibility to determine the sustainability of companies from a long-term perspective by considering non-financial factors together. In addition, the need for ESG information disclosure is becoming more prominent due to various factors, including rising social interest in climate change risks. Already overseas, ESG's concept has spread, starting with the UN's "UN Principle of Responsible Investment" announced in the early 2000s. The EU established and mandated guidance on the disclosure of non-financial information by entities. In line with this trend, the Korea Exchange recently announced 'ESG Information Disclosure Guidance' ('21.01). As a result, each company is expected to be obliged to disclose ESG information, so we would like to check domestic and foreign trends and disclosure status.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare patient safety knowledge, attitude, and skills between the Republic of Korea and Thailand nursing officers. Methods: Data were collected from 104 Korean nursing officers and 106 Thai nursing officers using structured questionnaires, patient safety knowledge, attitude and skills. Results: The proportion of men in Korean nursing officers were higher than that of Thai nursing officers, and Thai nursing officers had longer work experience than Koreans. The ROK nursing officer's patient safety knowledge score was significantly higher than Thai's (t=5.38, p<.001). However there was no difference between them in patient safety attitude and skills scores. Both countries had no difference in patient safety knowledge, attitude, and skills according to general characteristics. Conclusion: Nursing officers of the two countries had similar levels of patient safety knowledge, attitudes, and skills. However, in order to understand the gaps in patient safety culture, policy, and education programs between them, the two parties need to exchange information and benchmark with each other to strengthen their nurses' competence in patient care.
