The improvement of the social environment and the rapid development of medicine are making possible the age of 100. So a great number of countries including Korea are rapidly becoming the aged society or the super aged society. The elderly are accompanied by discomfort and disability. A variety of systems are developed and distributed to overcome them. The electric wheelchair is an electric motorized system for people who can not manipulate a manual wheelchair. In this paper, we propose an autonomous driving platform for an electric wheelchair. Here we use QR (Quick Response) code for self-localization. We also present real test results of the proposed system.
홀 센서와 Dijkstra 알고리즘을 이용한 로봇의 실내 주행과 구현

According to recent advances in technology, major robot technologies that have been developed and commercialized for industrial use are being applied to various fields in our everyday life such as guide robots and cleaning robots. Among them, the navigation based on the self localization has become an essential element technology of the robot. In the case of indoor environment, many high-priced sensors are used, which makes it difficult to activate the robot industry. In this paper, we propose a robotic platform and a moving algorithm that can travel by using Dijkstra algorithm. The proposed system can find a short route to the destination with its own position. Also, its performance is discussed through the experimentation of an actual robot.
확장성표기언어 기반의 LED 조광제어 플랫폼에 관한 연구

In the study, an XML based platform is presented for LED dimming control. The XML platform is designed in an open architecture, providing with interoperability and scalability. Also, it enables the accommodation of off-the-shelf wired and wireless communication protocols and make it fast and easy to implement various application programs for LED dimming, comparing to the legacy platforms. In the study, a test best has been built for demonstration of the merits of the XML platform with dimming control by responding to the scenario of demand response event. Benefit calculation of the power saving and incentive from demand response shows the applicability and usefulness of the XML platform.
윤곽선화상과 배경화상을 분리 처리하는 화상데이타 압축기법

This paper presents an algorithm for compressing image data by separating the image into two parts. I.e. edge image containing high-frequency components and non-edge image containing low-frequency components of image. The edge image is extracted by using 8 level compass gradient masks and the non-edge image is obtained by removing the edge image from the original image. The edge image is coded by Huffman run-length code and the non edge image is transformed first by DCT and the transformed images is coded next by a quantized bit allocation table. For an example image. GIRL. the proposed algorithm shows bit rate of 0.52 bpp with PSNR of 36dB. 본 논문에서는 화상을 고주파 성분이 포함된 윤곽신 화상과 저주파 성분이 포함된 배경 화상으로 분리하여 압축하는 화상 데이타 압축 알고리즘을 제질하였다. 윤관선 화상은 8방향 경사마스크를 사용하여 검출하고 연속길이 Huffman 부호화 방법을 적용하여 부호화하고 배경화상은 원화상에서 윤곽선화상을 제시하여 줌으로써 추출한 후 DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform)을 취하여 이 개수에 대한 비트 할당표를 구하여 부호화 하였다. 실제 화상에 적용한 결과 최고 신호내 잡음비(PSNR)이 36 dB에서 압축율이 0.52bpp(bit/pixel)로 만족할만한 결과를 보여 주었다.

Li-ion polymer battery (LIPB) have become very important components for a portable electronic product at present and it must have high reliability. We reveal using failure analysis and express these by using Failure Tree Analysis(FTA). The failure mechanisms of LIPB are dendrite growth, destruction of inner circuit, oxidation decomposition, corrosion of electrode with short, open and electrical degradation. Temperature and voltage are selected as stress factors by using of two-stage Quality Function Deployment(QFD). Using them, the experimental study is carried out by failure of inner circuit alike failure of battery field. Additionally, Analysing the data of failure, this study estimates B₁? lifetime of LIPB and presents a lifetime increasing plan of LIPB.
구리 확산방지막으로서의 Ta와 Nb 박막의 특성에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 여러 기판에 대한 Cu의 확산정도를 알기 위하여 Ta, Nb, Co/Ta이중층 및 Co/Nb 이중층 위에 기화법으로 증착하고 열처리를 실시하였다. 열처리한 Ta막은 열처리하지 않은 Ta막보다 Cu 확산방지막으로서의 성능이 더 떨어지는데, 이것은 열처리에 의하여 Ta막이 결정화되기 때문이다. Cu/Co/Ta/(001)Si 구조에서의 구리 실리사이드 생성온도는 Cu/Co/Ta(001)Si 구조에서의 그것보다 더 높다. 한편, nb의 Cu에 대한 barrier 특성은 Ta와 비슷한 수준이다. 또한 Cu막 도포 이전에 Pd+HF활성화 전처리나 N2플라즈마 전처리를 실시하면, Cu의 핵생성뿐만 아니라 기판에 대한 Cu막의 접착성도 향상된다.
