This paper describes an efficient approach for improving the insulation capability of an ecofriendly gas-insulated switchgear. Especially the shape of the shield plate, which is newly suggested to reduce the electric field concentration around the triple junction point in the breaker compartment, is efficiently optimized by using reliable optimization processes. The response surface methodology (RSM), as an optimization method, is applied in this paper. In addition, the steepest ascent/descent method (SM) is used to raise the precision of the optimization and to reduce the iterations of experiments in the application of the RSM. The usefulness of the RSM combined with the SM is verified through a comparison between the fitted response and the result obtained from a finite element analysis (FEA). A vacuum Interrupter (VI), a core part that composes the breaking part of medium-voltage vacuum circuit breaker (VCB), has the excellent insulation performance and arc-extinguishing capability. $SF_6$ gas had been used for the external insulation of VIs since the dielectric strength of $SF_6$ gas is superior to that of other insulation gases. However, because of environmental problems related with global warming, a solid-insulated technology was recently researched. The functionally graded material (FGM), as changing spatially the distribution of the relative permittivity inside an insulator, can reduce the electric field stress at the specific region. Especially, the external insulation performance of the VI with the molded FGM insulator is greatly improved as compared with that of the existing VI or the VI with a new external shield. In this paper, the effectiveness of this FGM insulator is verified by the numerical simulation.

In this paper a nobel optimum design method is presented for a shield in a vacuum interrupter which is equipped in switchgear to improve its electric insulation capability. The design of Taguchi experiment method which is based on the results by finite element method is used to find optimum design conditions. The important design factors are chosen at first and the concept of signal to noise ratio is applied to evaluate the vacuum interrupter performance, and the optimal values of each parameters are determined. From the results of various analyses, it is shown that the shield plate in circuit circuit breaker compartment of switchgear can reduce the concentration of electric field intensity. This method is very useful to design the construction of a shield in a short time. Consequently, the insulation capability of circuit breaker compartment in a gas insulated switchgear is improved by adopting an additional optimized shaped shield.
膽囊十二指腸吻合術과 總輸膽管十二指腸吻合術의 實驗的 硏究

Ten dogs were operated for the complete ligation of the common bile duct and then 2 weeks later, each 5 of which were decompressed with cholecystoduodenostomy and choledochoduodenostomy. Changes of hematologic values, liver function test, bacteriological findings of bile and histopathological findings of biliary system were observed in normal, ligated common bile duct and biliary-intestinal anastomosis groups. The results obtained were as follows: 1. There were no remarkable changes except for increase of WBC in the group of ligated common bile duct and biliary-intestinal anastomosis comparing with control group. 2. Total protein in serum was increased to normal level and alkaline phosphotase activity, GOT, GPT, total bilirubin and thymol turbidity were slightly decreased after cholecystoduodenostomy but revealed higher level than those of the control group. Serum total protein, alkaline phosphotase activity, GOT, GPT, bilirubin and thymol turbidity after cholecystoduodenostomy were returned to normal level. 3. The presence of bacteria in bile of the control group and the group of the ligated common bile duct was not demonstrated and in the group of the cholecystoduodenostomy and cholecystoduodenostomy, E. coli was demonstrated. 4. Reflux of the intestinal contents into the gallbladder, common bile duct and biliary radicles in all cases of biliary-intestinal decompression was noted and it was more remarkable in the cholecystoduodenostomy than in cholecystoduodenostomy. 5. In group of the ligated common bile duct, the Kupffer's cells contained more bile pigments than the hepatic cells and bile plugs in the bile canaliculi were very remarkable around the centrilobular area. Above phenomena were more decreased in the group of the biliary-intestinal anastomosis than in that of the ligated common bile duct and more remarkably decreased in the cholecystoduodenostomy than in the cholecystoduodenostomy. 6. Intrahepatic inflammatory cells, especially neutrophils were more remarkably decreased in the group of cholecystoduodenostomy than in that of the ligated common bile duct but they, especially lymphocytes were markedly increased in the gallbladder and common bile duct of the both groups of biliary-intestinal anastomosis.

In this paper the corona discharge in SF$_{6}$ gas used as insulating material in lots o high voltage equipment, is simulated by finite element method with Flux-Corrected Transport(FCT) method. By application of proposed method the negative corona discharge characteristics in needle to plane electrode is analyzed with time step. For the accuracy of analysis the secondary electron emission by photon and ion are also considered as well as the accuracy of analysis the secondary electron emission by photon and ion are also considered as well as townsend first ionization and electron attachment. The calculated results show that the electric field intensity between anode and ion group is decreased as times go-by according to field distortion by those space charge. Accordingly the electron density is decreased strongly by the attatchment effect of SF6 gas so that the corona discharge becomes extinguished abruptly.y.
化膿病巢內 葡萄球菌의 Bacteriophage type에 對하여

Phage types of fifty one strains of pathogenic staphylococci from surgical lesions caused outside of hospital were studied with the follwing results. (1) 83.1% of staphylococci as causative agents from pyogenic lesions was isolated and 71.8% of these strains produced coagulase. (2) 88.2% of the strains tested showed positive results in the phage method, 82.4% at the Routine Test Dilution and additionally 5.9% by employing phages at 1,000 times the concentration used in the Routine Test Dilution. (3) Group Ⅱ was the predominant type consisting of 39.2% of the strains tested and followed by Mixed Group(33.3%), Miscellaneous Group(7.8%), Group Ⅰ (5.9%) and Group Ⅲ (2.0%). No strain belonging to Group Ⅳ was found. (4) 80/81 Complex showed an incidence with 47.1%, 29.4% of which was from abscess.
