        Weighted IMM 기법을 사용한 각도 추정 오차 감소 기법

        This paper proposes a new approach to reduce the target estimation error of the measurement angle, especially applied to the medium and long range surveillance radar. If the target has no maneuver and no change in heading direction for a certain time interval, the predicted angle of interacting multiple model(IMM) from the previous track information can be used to reduce the angle estimation error. The proposed method is simulated in 2 scenarios, a scenario with a non-maneuvering target and a scenario with a maneuvering target. The result shows that the new fusion solution(weighted IMM) with the predicted azimuth and the measured azimuth is worked properly in the two scenarios.

        중등 영어 학습자를 위한 다독 읽기 활동의 효용성 탐구

        This study explores the effect of extensive reading(ER) implemented in middle and high schools in Korean EFL context. Two middle school English teachers and two high school English teachers participated in implementing ER in their classes. Six middle school classes of 239 students and seven high school classes of 268 students participated in ER program guided by the above four teachers. To implement ER, participating teachers had continuously been guided by the researcher about the theoretic reasoning of ER and practical methods for efficient ER in class. The study lasted for two semesters and the teachers and students were surveyed and interviewed during and after the classes. The result showed pretty positive improvement of students’ self-confidence, interest and motivation about English through ER implemented in this study. It is hoped that this study would show the possibility of implementing ER in Korean EFL secondary school context and a model for ER and cooperation between university researchers and in-service English teachers.

        A Case Study of Korean EFL Teachers" Small Group Work

          This case study examined 10 Korean English teachers who were involved in small group work (SGW) for the purpose of improving their own English language proficiency. Their beliefs about and practices of SGW were closely observed as they actually went through a SGW. A total of 10 teachers (three groups) teaching at elementary or middle schools participated in the SGWs for one year. In the SGWs they were supposed to meet once a week in groups, give a presentation in English on a selected topic, and discuss the topics presented. Throughout the research period, they were interviewed and surveyed periodically. The result of the study showed that teachers generally had positive beliefs about SGWs and were very willing to go on with it in the same way they used to or in a little modified way. Especially, the teachers revealed strong conviction that the most powerful aspect of SGW was that it kept them motivated to continue learning, which has rarely been the case when they tried to study individually.

      • DIT 측정도구를 활용한 아동의 도덕성 발달

        본 연구는 도덕 판단력 검사(DIT) 도구를 활용하여 아동의 도덕성 판단력 발달 수준을 알아보는 데 목적을 둔다. DIT는 콜버그의 도덕 판단 면접법(MJI)의 이론을 전제로 Rest가 제작한 객관식 검사도구로 신뢰성과 타당성이 검증된 도덕성 측정 도구로, 연구에서 사용된 변인은 학년(연령), 성별, 종교의 범주로 나누어 도덕성 발달 경향을 보았다. 연구대상은 전라북도의 J시와 K시에 위치한 초등학생(4-6학년 160명)을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과에 의하면 첫째, 아동의 도덕성 발달은 학년(연령)에 따라 발달 경향이 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 도덕성 발달은 여학생이 남학생보다 높은 경향을 나타났다. 셋째, 아동의 도덕성 발달은 종교 유무와 종교에 따라 비 일관적으로 나타났다. 또한 DIT의 검사에서 P(%)점수는 인습이후 수준에서 5A(사회적 계약의 존중도덕성) 단계가 높게 나타났음을 알 수 있었다. Using DIT this study focuses on the development level of children’s morality judgment. Built by Rest based on Kohlberg’s MJI theory, DIT which has been already verified its reliability and validity is a multiple choice test measuring morality. This study examines the tendency of morality development according to age, sex, and religion using DIT. The objects are 160 elementary students (4th-6th grade) of J and K city at Jeolla province. The results show that the higher the children’s grade, the more their development level of morality judgment is increasing. Secondly, the female students’ development level of morality judgment is higher than that of male students. Thirdly, the development level of morality judgment is inconsistency according to what religion they have and whether or not they have religion. The last result is that P score is the highest at 5A level of postconventional morality.

        유치원 영어 교실에서 요가 활동을 포함한 의미 있는 전신반응법 활동의 효과 연구

        The purpose of this observational study is to explore the effect of using meaningful TPR, yoga asana, meditation and respiration activities in English classes for pre-school children at a kindergarten. The results of the study showed that meaningful TPR activities helped children concentrate longer on the lessons, preventing them from causing too much excitement which had often been shown in mechanical TPR activities. It was also found that children thoroughly enjoyed the lessons involving yoga asana which particularly satisfied children's desire to move around, interact and ultimately exercise their bodies, In addition, meditation and respiration showed a positive effect on children's emotional side, making them calmer, although there still remains variation among children. The findings of this study suggest that some meaningful instructional activities that concern children's characteristics and emotions need to be planned and implemented in language classes for pre-school children.

        한국형 다독 교재 모형 개발

        This study aims to develop a book model which is effective and appropriate for extensive reading in EFL settings. The study reviews the theoretical background of extensive reading and materials development, examines the current curriculum and graded reader series, and does a survey to analyze the needs of teachers as well as students. Based on this research, the study selects elements that help students do extensive reading effectively in EFL contexts, such as images and key words that give useful information of the author, the work, main characters, and setting at the beginning of the book, footnote at the bottom of the main text, and post-activities at the end of the book. The study has the validity test on these elements by the five experts in English education and based on their feedback develops three book models for elementary. middle. and high school respectively. Finally, the study conducts three pilot tests at each school level and acquires positive results from them The pilot tests say that those elements this study provides are helpful for EFL students do extensive reading effectively.

        경 X선 형광분석을 위한 모세관 광학소자 제작

        경 X선 형광분석 기법에 사용되는 X선 튜브는 X선의 휘도가 낮아 분석의 정밀도가 떨어지고 분석 시간 또한 오래 걸린다. 모세관 집광소자를 이용하면 X선 휘도의 이득(gain)을 최소 10 이상 얻을 수가 있다. 모세관 광학소자는 8.4keV의 텅스텐 특성방사선을 효율적으로 집광할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 파이렉스 유리로 된 모세관 모재를 풀러 (puller)를 이용하여 45 g의 추에 650˚의 온도를 가하여 모세관 광학소자를 제작하였다. 모세관 광학소자의 제작은 총 460분이 소요되었으며 제작된 모세관 광학소자의 길이는 87 ㎜, X선 입사부의 직경은 300 ㎛, 출구부의 직경은 192㎛로 제작되었다. 제작된 모세관 광학소자를 경 X선 형광분석에 적용하면 황(S)과 같은 경원소 검출의 정밀도를 높일수 있을 것이다. An X-ray tube used an X-ray fluorescence analysis system has a low X-ray photon intensity which results in reducing measurement accuracy and increasing exposure time. These shortages can be overcame by using a monocapillary optics. A monocapillary optics was optimally designed for focusing the characteristic X-ray of tungsten (8.4 keV). The monocapillary optics can achieve a gain of 10 at the least. The monocapillary optics was fabricated by using puller and pyrex glass, raw material. In fabrication, a weigh of 45g and a temperature of 650˚ was loaded. The total fabrication time was 460 minutes. The fabricated capillary had 87 ㎜ in length and maximum diameter of 300 ㎛ and minimum diameter of 192 ㎛. When the fabricated monocapillary optics is applied to an X-ray fluorescence analysis system, the detection accuracy for soft elements, for example sulfur (S), will be improved.
