CoRe를 활용한 교육실습이 예비 교사들의 PCK 개발에 미치는 영향

이 연구의 목적은 CoRe를 활용한 교육실습 수업지도 과정에서 어떠한 내용의 지도가 이루어지며, 이 과정에서 CoRe의 역할과 그것이 예비교사들의 전문성 개발에 미치는 영향은 무엇인지를 알아보는 것이었다. 이 연구는 질적 사례연구로, 1명의 실습 지도교사와 2명의 예비교사의 CoRe 논의과정, 예비교사가 진행하는 수업의 관찰, 면담 등의 자료를 수집하여 귀납적으로 분석하였다. CoRe를 바탕으로 한 논의과정에서 예비교사들은 자신의 오개념을 확인하고 개념을 명료화하였으며, 서로의 아이디어를 공유하고, 부족한 지식을 보완하며, 새로운 전략을 구성해나갔다. 지도교사는 자신의 구성주의적 교수 지향을 기반으로 자신의 교수 경험을 전달하였다. 이 과정에서 CoRe는 예비교사들에게 지도교사의 지도 과정을 안내하는 역할, 지도교사의 PCK를 드러내도록 도와주는 역할, 논의과정에서 그들의 대화를 도와주는 도구로서의 역할을 하여 교육실습에서 지도교사의 수업지도를 도와주는 유용한 틀임을 확인하였다. 예비교사들은 CoRe 작성과정을 통해 수업 준비를 위한 유용한 틀을 제공받았고, 수업계획 단계에서 지도교사와 함께 CoRe를 개발하면서 교과 내용 지식과 교육과정 지식, 학생의 이해에 대한 지식을 포함하는 PCK 신장에 긍정적 영향을 받았다. 또한, PCK의 구성요소를 이해하고 학생과 교수활동, 과학 교사로서의 자신에 대한 긍정적인 인식 변화를 경험하였다. The purposes of this study were to examine what kinds of educational activities were carried out during the practice teaching based on CoRe and to identify the role of CoRe and its influence on the development of expertise of student teachers. This study was performed as qualitative case study. The subjects of this study were one practice supervisor teacher and two student teachers. Data were collected through recording CoRe discussion process, student teachers' instructional scene, and semi-constructed interview, and analyzed by an inductive method. Student teachers noticed their own misconceptions, and clarified the concepts based on CoRe during the discussion with supervisor teacher. They also supplemented their lack of knowledge and made up new strategies through the process of sharing their ideas. During the discussion, the supervisor teacher conveyed his teaching experience based on his own orientations toward science teaching. In this course, CoRe plays roles as follows. Firstly, CoRe played a role as guiding supervisor teacher's coaching process. Secondly, CoRe helped for the supervisor teacher to recognize their own PCK. Thirdly, CoRe served as a tool of helping their communication. In turn CoRe proved to be a useful frame for teaching student teachers during practice teaching. Student teachers were provided with a useful framework for preparing lessons by developing CoRe for the topic they teach. Developing CoRe with supervisor teacher at the planning stage of lessons enhenced student-teachers' subject matter knowledge and their PCK including knowledge of science curricula and knowledge of student's understanding of science. Also student teachers understood the components of PCK and experienced the positive understanding toward students, teaching activities, and themselves as a science teacher.

동료 장학 모임에 참여한 과학교사의 경험 사례 연구

이 연구의 목적은 수업개선을 위해 동료장학 모임에 참여한 과학교사가 어떤 경험 과정을 거치는지 탐색하고, 각 경험 과정에 어떤 요인이 작용하는가를 살펴보는 것이었다. 이를 위해, 동료장학 모임 과정 녹음과 수업 촬영, 면담으로 자료를 수집하였고, 모든자료를 전사 후 분석하였다. 연구 결과, K 교사는 동료장학 모임 초반, CoRe를 개발하면서 동료교사들과의 어색함을 깨고 동료들과의 공감대를 형성하였으나, 자신의 수업에 대한 논의에서 동료교사들의 논의를 수용하기 보다는 자기방어적인 태도를 보였다. 그러나 동료장학이 점차 진행되면서 자신의 이전 수업에 대한 반성적 성찰, 다른 참여교사의 수업에 대한 논의, 동료장학이 수업을 평가하는 것이 아니라 수업을 개선하려는 것이라는 인식을 통해서 자신의 수업을 객관적인 시각으로 바라보게 되었고, 이를 통해 동료장학 모임에서 나온 논의를 인정하고 수용하려는 태도를 보였다. K 교사의 반성적 성찰은 수업 개선을 위한 노력의 핵심 요소로 작용하였는데, 그는 동료교사들과 함께 수업분석을 통한 구체적인 대안을 모색하면서, 사소한 언어 습관이나 말의 속도, 발음에서부터 학생과의 상호작용, 수업의 구조화까지 교수 실행에 큰 변화를 보였다. 그러나 교육과정이나 평가에 관한 지식에는 큰 변화를 보이지 않았는데, 이는 그가 일반계 고등학교 교사로서 강한 성적향상 교수지향을 가지고 있었기 때문으로 판단된다. 이와 같이, 동료장학은 K교사의 교수 방법이나 전략에는 큰 영향을 미쳤으나 그의 견고한 성적향상 교수 지향이 PCK하위 요소의 균형 있는 발달을 저해함을 알 수 있었다. Purposes of this study were to explore the process of experience that science teachers go through when participating in peer coaching meetings to improve teaching ability and to find out factors that affect each process of experience. The data were collected through recording of peer coaching meetings videotapes of science class and interviews. All the data were analyzed after transcription. The results of the study showed that even though Teacher K broke the ice and formed consensus among the peers by developing Content Representation (CoRe) at the beginning of the meetings he became self-defensive rather than receptive of peers` opinions on the recorded class at the discussion session. But as the peer coaching went on he realized that peer coaching was not about evaluation but rather on improving his teaching ability. In turn he was able to look at his teaching in a more objective point of view and accepted suggestions from peer coaching discussion. The self-reflection of Teacher K acted as the key factor in the efforts to improve his teaching ability. He sought the concrete alternatives through the class analysis with fellow teachers and showed major changes in his teaching practice from the language habits pronunciation and speed of his speech to the interaction with students and class design. However there was little change in knowledge of curriculum and assessment due to his strong orientation to improve students` grades as an academic high school teacher. Likewise it was found that while peer coaching exert a strong influence on instructional methods and strategies of Teacher K his strong orientation to improve students` grades hinders a balanced development of subcomponents of PCK.

과학수업 자기비평 과정에서 나타난 초등교사의 반성 수준의 변화

이 연구의 목적은 과학수업 자기비평 과정에서 초등 교사의 경험을 탐색하고, 그 경험에서 드러난 반성 수준의 변화를 분석하는 것이었다. 이 연구는 질적 사례 연구로써, 2인의 초등 교사가 참여하였으며, 자신의 과학수업에 대한 반성적 글쓰기를 통하여 자기비평 과정을 거쳤다. 연구에 참여한 두초등교사는 반성적 글쓰기를 통한 수업비평을 경험하면서 비평의 관점과 빈도에서 어느 정도의 변화를 보였는데, 그러한 변화는 각 교사의 수업 경험과 자신이 처한 교육적 상황에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 수업비평에 따른 피드백에 의해 나타나는 반성의 수준은 두 교사 모두에게서 높은 수준으로의 큰 변화를 보였는데, 수업에 대한 인식의 긍정적 변화나 학생에 대한 이해, 동료 교사의 수업 관찰과 같이 수업의 실천에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 인식은 수업 중 반성 혹은 수업 후의 반성을 통해 실천적 지식을 지속적으로 수정 보완하여 결과적으로 반성의 수준을 높이는데 기여하였다. The goal of this study were to look into the elementary school teacher’s experience in the self-review of science class and analyze the changes of reflection level revealed in it. This study was a qualitative example research where two elementary school teachers participated and performed self-review via reflective writings regarding their science classes. Both teachers showed changes in aspect and frequency of review to a certain extend by reflective writings based on their class experience and the educational settings they are at. They all revealed a high level of changes on reflection by the feedback from the class reviews. Affirmative changes of cognition on science class and the perception of factors affecting the practice of the class such as understanding students, class observation of the peer teachers et al. contributed to the elevation of reflection level by continuously adjusting and complementing the practical knowledge through the reflection during or after the class.

통합 개념을 중심으로 한 고등학교 1학년 과학교육과정의 내용 구성

과학은 자연 현상을 탐구하는 학문으로서 본질로 통합적인 성격을 띤다. 또한, 모든 학생을 위한 과학적 소양을 키우기 위한 과학교육의 목표를 효과적으로 달성하기 위해서는 통합적 과학교육이 요구된다. 이러한 관점에서 이 연구는 자연 현상을 관통하는 기본 개념이나 원리를 통합 개념으로 정의하고, 이를 중심으로 통합과학 교육과정의 내용을 구성하였다. 구성된 통합 개념 중심 과학교육과정의 대상은 고등학교 1학년이며, 성취수준을 제시하여 학습 내용의 수준과 범위를 나타내었다. 이 연구에서 제시한 통합과학 교육과정의 내용 구성은 현재 진행되고 있는 문·이과 통합형 과학과 교육과정의 개정에 새로운 관점을 제시할 수 있다는데 의미가 있다. Science has an essentially integrated character as a discipline that explores the natural phenomena. And the integrated science education is required to achieve the goals of science education to forster scientific literacy of all students. In this respect, we defined the basic concepts and principles that can penetrate the natural phenomena as an integrated concepts in this study, and organized the contents of integrated science curriculum around them. Integrated concept centered curriculum was intended for the 10th grade students and the breadth and depth of learning concepts were represented by presenting the achievement level of the learning concepts. Contents organization of integrated science curriculum presented in this study was meant to provide a new perspectives to the revision of the national integrated science curriculum that is currently in progress.

한 농촌 주민의 건강형태

Background; It is very important in primary care to control health behaviors related to chronic debilitating diseases. The purpose of this study was to analyse the health behaviors affecting health status of rural inhabitants. Methods; This study was carried out in rural areas of Pohang city by questionnaire for a week in April, 1997. Inquired health behaviors by questionnaire were smoking, drinking, weight, height, health concern, diet regularity, health or cancer examination and exercise. Result; Smoking rate was 58.7% in male. Initial smoking age in men's smokers was 21 and it was not different according to age groups. The proportion of drinker was 50.8% in male. Body mass Index was not related to the average family income, education and snack intake frequency, but related to overeating frequency. Diet regularity was not related to snack intake frequency and body mass index, but relate to overeating frequency. Exercise was related to average family income and education. Conclusion ; It could be expected to improve the health status of the residents in rural area through the effort to make them take more interest in practicing appropriate health behavior.
