검색어로는 “Dementia” OR “mild cognitive impairment” AND “dual-task” OR “combined cognitive and physical training”을 사용하였다. Objective : The study aims to review the dual-task training effect on cognitive function of older adults with dementia and mild cognitive impairment. Methods : From January 2011 to September 2021, we searched the peer-reviewed manuscript related to dual-task training for dementia and mild cognitive impairment using the PubMed, Embase databases. The five studies were selected from the 3,060 clinical trial studies related to dual-task training. Selective studies were analyzed for the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) scale, risk of bias, dual-task training type, intervention effect. Results : The selected five studies was average total score of the PEDro scale was 6.2, ‘good’. Three studies showed a high risk of bias. The dual task training significant effects were found in cognitive function of attention, executive function, and cognitive screening evaluation. Conclusion : It is expected that the results of this study will be used as reference for applying the dual task training to the older adults with mild cognitive impairment and dementia in clinical practice.

Due to the rapid growth and development of Internet of Things (IoT), various devices are now accessible and controllable anytime from anywhere. However, the current IoT system requires a series of complex steps (e.g., launch an application, choose a space and thing, control the thing, etc.) to control the IoT devices; therefore, IoT suffers from a lack of efficient and intuitive methods of interacting with users. To address this problem, we propose a novel IoT control framework based on IoT tags and social messages. The proposed system provides an intuitive and efficient way to control the device based on the device ownership: 1) users can easily control the device by IoT tagging, or 2) users can send an IoT social message to the device owner to request control of the tagged device. Through the development of the prototype system, we show that the proposed system provides an efficient and intuitive way to control devices in the IoT environment.

Due to the rapid growth of IoT technologies, we are now facing the smart environment where users can easily control the remote devices anytime from anywhere. However, the current IoT platforms provide a mobile or web interface for device control, so they suffer from the inconvenience that users are asked to conduct a series of steps in the mobile or web application even if users just want to perform a simple device control. In order to provide a more intuitive and efficient IoT control interface, we propose an IoT control system based on the gestures obtained from wearable devices such as smart watches. The proposed system consists of user authentication, gesture recognition by smart watch, gesture based IoT operations, and so on. Through the implementation of the prototype with Philips Hue lighting system, we show that the proposed system can help users efficiently control the IoT devices.
