The HLA System: Genetics, Immunology, Clinical Testing, and Clinical Implications

The human major histocompatibility complex HLA is located on the short arm of chromosome 6. It is known to be the most polymorphic genetic system in humans. The biological role of the HLA class I and class II molecules is to present processed peptide antigens. The HLA system is clinically important as transplantation antigens. Molecular HLA allele typing is routinely performed to provide HLA class I and class II allele matching in unrelated donor hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Prospective lymphocyte crossmatching is critical in solid organ transplantation to prevent allograft rejection. HLA alloimmunization causes various problems in transfusion therapy. The HLA system is associated with certain diseases, but its underlying mechanisms are not yet fully explained.

초등학생 자녀가 지각한 부모의 자율성지지 양육태도가 학업성취에 미치는 영향: 그릿과 스마트폰 의존의 순차적 다중매개효과

The purpose of this study is to confirm the sequential mediating effect of children's dependence on grits and smartphones in the relationship between parental autonomy support parenting attitude and academic achievement perceived by elementary school children. To this end, The dataset of the 1st year of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018 (KCYPS 2018) was used and the fourth grade of elementary school students were selected. Mediation effect analysis was performed using Process macro of SPSS 23.0. The main research results are summarized as follows. First, the individual mediating effect of grill and smartphone dependence was significant in the path from parental autonomy support parenting attitude to academic achievement. Second, it was found that the parents' autonomy support had an effect on academic achievement by sequentially mediating grit and smartphone dependence. In other words, it was confirmed that the importance of parents' autonomy support can be more prominent in the structural relationship between grit and smartphone dependence. Based on the results of the study, implications for intervention measures to increase their children's academic achievement were proposed. 본 연구의 목적은 초등학생 자녀가 지각한 부모의 자율성지지 양육태도와 학업성취 간 관계에 있어 자녀의 그릿과 스마트폰 의존의 순차적 다중매개효과를 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원에서 수행한 한국아동·청소년패널조사 2018 초4 패널 1차 데이터를 사용하여, SPSS 23.0과 Process macro를 이용해 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 도출된 주요 연구 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 자율성지지 양육태도에서 학업성취에 이르는 경로에서 그릿과 스마트폰 의존의 개별 매개효과가 유의하였다. 둘째, 자녀가 지각한 부모의 자율성지지 양육태도는 그릿, 스마트폰 의존을 순차적으로 매개하여 학업성취에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 자녀의 학업성취에 대해 부모의 자율성지지 양육태도는 그릿 및 스마트폰 의존과의 구조적 관계 속에서 그 중요성이 더 부각될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 자녀의 학업성취를 높이는 양육태도 및 교육적 개입 방안에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다.

Isoprinosine이 마우스 복강 거식세포 기능에 미치는 영향

Immunomodulatory effect of Isoprinosine, an antiviral agents, on peritoneal macrophages were evaluated by observing their phagocytic activity and tumoricial activities in vitro. The followings are summary of the findings. 1. Total number of peritoneal exudate cell(PEC) and macrophages of the study group animal were not changed by isoprinosine(100mg/day/mouse P.O. for 5 days). Isoprinosine appeared not to affect the adbesiveness of macrophages and viability of the adherent peritoneal macrophages treated with 10 pg/ml or 100 pg/ml in vitro. 2. Phagocytic ability of macrophage upon Staphylococcus epidermidies was slightly enhanced when the cells were treated with isoprinosine as above dose. 3. Direct of the drug itself upon tumor cell line, NS-1, and macrophage mediated cytotoxicity to NS-1 was not observed when the cells were treated with isoprinosine alone in vivo or in vitro. 4. However, isoprinosine were found to be an efficient agent in restoring selectively suppressed macrophages function by carrageenan. The isoprinosine pretreated macrophages exerted justifiable degree of tumoricidal activity regardless carrageenan post-treatment, which is quite compatible with that of normal.
