세포배양법으로 지황의 생리활성 물질을 생산하고저 지황식물에서 카루스를 유도하고 이것을 계대배양하여 수확한 카루스덩이에 생성축적된 화학성분을 분석하였다. 카루스는 지황식물의 어린잎이나 뿌리의 절편을 2.4-D 0.5-1.0ppm 이 첨가된 MS배지에 정치하여 25˚±1˚에서 유도하였고, 카루스의 배양은 NAA :3.0ppm과 kinetine 2.0ppm이 첨가된 MS 배지에서 4∼5주 간격으로 계대배양하였으며, 액체배양은 위 배지조성에서 한천이 들어가지 않은 것을 썼다. 지황의 신선한 카루스덩이(약 2530g)를 메탄올로 추출하여 이것을 분획하여 함유된 화학성분을 분석한 바, 당류로서 fructose, glucose, sucrose가, 스테롤로서 β-sitosterol, campesterol, stigmasterol을 분리확인 할 수 있었으며 carotenoid로 추정되는 물질도 생성되었으나 catalpol은 생성되지 않았다. 또한 iridoid 화합물의 생합성 과정에서 전구물질로 알러진 geraniol을 첨가하여 배양하였을 때에도 catalpol은 생성되지 않았다. 한편 지황식물은 NAA 0.1ppm과 kinetine 0.1ppm이 첨가된 MS배지에서 카루스로 부터 뿌리의 분화가 일어남을 관찰할 수 있었다.

Besides the emodin, three anthraquinone derivatives were isolated from the roots of Polygonum ciliinerve (Nakai) Owi which is indigenous exclusively to Korea. Two of them were identified as physcion and emodin-8-0-β-D-glucoside by mp, uv, ir and nmr spectra. And the third was converted to physcion and sugar by hydrolysis. The quantitative analysis of free and combined form of emodin and physcion was done by the spectrophotometry.

N/A Bufonis Venenum is a toad venom and its main components are bufadienolides, namely resibufogenin, bufalin and cinobufagin. The desensitizing effect of Bufonis Venenum is useful for the treatment of the premature ejaculation in Chinese medicine. But, minor components of Bufonis Venenum cause problems such as topical burning, pain, and erectile dysfunction. To clarify and eliminate the components responsible for these side effects, we prepared two extracts of Bufonis Venenum with either 70% ethanol or ethylacetate and tested their pharmacological effects. The extract of Bufonis Venenum with 70% ethanol produced pain response in rat hind paw, and exhibited contraction of rabbit corpus cavernosal muscle in vitro. On the other hand, the ethylacetate extract did not cause pain and smooth muscle contraction. The desensitizing effect of the ethylacetate extract was similar to that of the 70% ethanol extract. In conclusion, these results show that the extract of Bufonis Venenum with ethylacetate does not have the components causing side effects and deserve further study for therapeutic potential in premature ejaculation in men.
Mode 합성법을 이용한 머시닝 센터의 모델링에 관한연구

This paper describes a new approach to the analysis of the dynamic response of a machining center. This approach, refered to as the mode synthesis or component mode sysnthesis, has many advantages compared with the conventional approaches. These terms are employed to sysnthesize the individual modes to analyze the vibration mode of the complicated structures. In this study a machining center is considered to present the basic ideas of the method, and its utility is investigated. The proposed idea is proved to be a very accurate estimate of the natural frequencies of the combined structures as well as the modes of vibrations.
