      • 동적 다차원 웨이브릿 신경망을 이용한 제어 시스템 설계

        조일,서재용,연정흠,김용택,전홍태,Cho, Il,Seo, Jae-Yong,Yon, Jung-Heum,Kim, Yong-Taek,Jeon, Hong-Tae 대한전자공학회 2000 電子工學會論文誌-SC (System and control) Vol.37 No.4

In this paper, new neural network called dynamic multidimensional wavelet neural network (DMWNN) is proposed. The resulting network from wavelet theory provides a unique and efficient representation of the given function. Also the proposed DMWNN have ability to store information for later use. Therefore it can represent dynamic mapping and decreases the dimension of the inputs needed for network. This feature of DMWNN can compensate for the weakness of diagonal recurrent neural network(DRNN) and feedforward wavelet neural network(FWNN). The efficacy of this type of network is demonstrated through experimental results.

북아메리카 원주민의 문화와 한국 무속 문화의 유사성에 대한 고찰

        조일(Cho Il) 한국국악교육학회 2005 국악교육 Vol.23 No.-

This treatise is the approach to the culture of other tribe and the overview of the interests that I have in North American natives, who have not been much introduced and studied yet. Interested in the traditional culture of North American natives, you can find out that it has much similarity to the Korean shamanic culture or the Korean living culture and that it has much similarity to Korean's also in the melody structure of their music. I suppose that the study on the similarity to other culture in western culture, not in the same Asian culture, has enough interests and values. There are a number of races and each culture of them on this earth where people live. The scientists and historian’s study to get the answer to the question of where human beings come from and to where they propagate in the beginning continues constantly, but we cannot help getting the deductive conclusion by materials. The work to study a language, living habit, ritual behavior, dance and music, etc. within a social group is a method to understand their culture well, and its purpose is to find out and admit enough values through the exchange between groups. In this respect, the study on the Native Americans’ culture whose geographical living environment are fairly different from that of Asians, but who has some similar condition to Asians in a physical structure, pattern of blood type, arrangement of teeth structure and so on is very interesting and most of all deserves to have interests in the fact that their culture has much similarity to Korean culture. Dealing with the Native Americans' culture, you can find from their attitude toward the Nature and the Spirit that they think the earth as their mother and consider the great spirit as their father, and thus they think that human beings are spiritually based on the earth and they consider all universe as an occult body which has the spirit. This thought is not so different from Korean shamanism, and all ritual acts according to that faith including dance and music show that the act by Korean shamanism is so similar to the Native Americans’ ritual acts. For all that Korean shamanism is the form of traditional entertainment and complex art, has much value with Koreans’ lives, the influx of western culture which becomes scientific causes Korean traditional shamanism to be neglected as a uncivilized faith, or a superstition, or an inferior culture, and thus to put it away from our lives. But Korean shamanism is the expression of the aspiration about the view of nature immanent in human inside based on strong vital power, steadily is continuing. The Native Americans’ culture, their native culture also was restricted, forbidden, and constantly liquidated, but they has protected their native cultural inheritance. Korean shamanism or the Native Americans’ faith and ceremonies is the attitude toward the life originated from human beings’ humility to the spirit which the greatness of the Nature has, once primitive thing is thought as uncivilized thing, its value is neglected, but nowadays that is again being perceived as the peculiarity of culture and art due to the people’s efforts who try to recover the essence toward human mental area. The author think that in the efforts to find out the similarity between other cultures, to find out which culture affects which culture is important part, but most of all it is more meaningful to deal with rather philosophical issue about the value which can be the reason why they got to have similar culture.

국악강사풀제 운영의 효용성과 고등학교 음악 교육의 연관성에 관한 연구

        조일(Cho Il) 한국국악교육학회 2006 국악교육 Vol.24 No.-

Although we had tried to develop environment of Korean Classical Music education, now we did not have a enough education system. Also, because of the colonial life and Western culture in the past, we have not smoothly learned about Korean Classical Music in a school. Korean Classical Music education is one of the main points in revision of the 7th education course, and it is for the promotion of our culture. We can understand importance of Korean Classical Music via Korean Classical Music education, and the full-time working of Korean Classical Music lecturers can help to understand importance of Korean Classical Music well. The objective of this research is to establish the better education system of traditional music through analyzing how much traditional music is given a great deal of weight on a music textbook of the 7th education course, finding out the percentage of traditional music genres such as folk songs and Pansori in a textbook, and also working out solutions to problems of traditional music education in schools via investigating the actual conditions about the full-time working of Korean Classical Music lecturers. According to research results, the full-time working of Korean dassical Music lecturers is needed for strengthening traditional music education. As a result of surveying about the percentage of traditional music parts in contents of 8 kinds of music textbooks for high school students, I found that the percentage of traditional music parts in textbooks’ contents is not over 35%. Even though in music textbooks’ contents, the percentage of traditional music parts is still low, absolutely we can expect big effects in education quality if instructors teach students under full knowledge of textbooks with various contents. For the better traditional music education in quality, I offer some ways. To begin with, I think that full-time teachers of Korean Classical Music parts in regular music education course are necessary. Now, the full-time working of Korean Classical Music lecturers has been put into action, but lecturers of Korean Classical Music parts need to make up for their ability to teach students textbooks’ contents well. Also, we need to classify lecturers for a theoretical class and a practical class. Second, I suggest the following in the process of selecting and educating lecturers for Korean Classical Music. Make students have large experience about traditional music via selecting various lecturers, not specified lecturers with Korean Classical Music education that schools want. After selecting Korean Classical Music lecturers, get the reeducate system for lecturers to take lessons well about a music textbook. If we carry out suggestions above, Korean Classical Music education will naturally become as regular school education. Third, we need the education policy on properties and preference about Korean Classical Music of According to the impact report about full-time working of Korean Classical Music lecturers, the percentage of Gayageum preference is 30.4% in Gyeongnam, 30.4% in Gwangju, 31% in Jeju, and 31.3% in Chungbuk, and the percentage of Samulnori preference is 35.7% in Daejeon, 31.3% in Ulsan. Folk songs and Pansori has the highest interest in Geonbuk(62.5%). Fourth, we need to prepare and make full use of the data about textbook contents. As a result of analyzing about traditional music in textbooks, indirect experience showed the high percentage. If lecturers is hard to teach something because of a shortage of time or other conditions, they must secure data about it. Also, if we exert every effort to construct textbooks’ contents well and provide enough data to the scene of education at the same time, effects of education will increase more and more.
