대체의학과 피부미용과의 연관성 몇 활용성에 관한 연구

이상에서 대체의학의 역사적 배경과 그 종류에 대하여 알아보았고 대체의학과 피부 미용적인 측면에서의 연관성 및 이를 이용한 활용 가능성에 대해 알아보았다. 다음은 국내외의 대체 의학과 피부미용의 현황들을 고찰한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 대체의학이란 서양의학과는 상반되는 개념으로 일반 서양의학이 가지는 부작용이나 한계성, 오류 등을 보완하고 극복하고자 비통상적인 의학적 철학, 접근방법, 요법 등을 총칭한 치료방법을 말한다. 2. 피부미용과 연관성이 높거나 앞으로 연관되어 발전시킬 수 있는 대체요법들의 종류에는 식이 요법, 카이로프락틱(chiropractic), 마사지 요법, 아로마 치료법, 수(水)치료, 기(氣)치료, 음악요법 등이 있다. 3. 최근의 피부미용은 과거와는 달리 미적인 개념을 벗어나 보다 근본적이고 포괄적인 개념인 인체의 건강에 그 초점을 맞추어 가고 있다. 이러한 성향은 피부 미용이 대체의학이 가지는 이념인 신체의 항상성(homeostasis)유지와 서로 부합된다. 따라서 대체 의학 중 상당부분이 이미 피부 미용적인 차원에서 도입, 발전시키고 있으며 이를 이용하여 다른 의학적인 분야에도 폭넓게 활용될 수 있는 가능성이 충분하리라고 본다. 4. 대체의학을 수용하고 발전시킨 피부 미용적인 대체요법들은 한의학, 정형외과, 정신과 등 다양한 의료분야에서의 접목시킬 수 있는 가능성이 있으며 비만치료, 물리치료, 정신치료, 치료회복의 목적 등으로 경락 마사지, 아로마 마사지, 수치료 마사지 등과 같은 피부미용 대체 요법들이 적극 활용될 수 있을 것으로 본다. 5. 이러한 피부 미용적인 대체 요법과 다른 다양한 의학 부분과의 접목에 있어서도 각 분야의 개별성을 인정하고 수용하는 자세가 필요할 것으로 보여지며 이러한 대등한 관계 형성과 협력적이며 상호보완적인 관계 구축이 각 분야가 상호 발전하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다. 6. 따라서 앞으로 피부미용학적 대체 요법이 발전적이며 개별적인 한 분야로써 인정받기 위해서는 의료적인 차원에서나 대체 의학적인 차원에서 벗어나 좀더 독립적 되어질 수 있는 제도적인 장치나 이를 뒷받침 할 수 있도록 임상적인 결과를 도출하는 다양한 연구가 필요하다고 사료되며 이는 다른 분야와의 적용과 활용도를 높이는데 크게 기여하리라고 본다.

Language Play and Language Learning in an Immersion Language Camp

This article addresses a unique learning environment, i.e. an immersion camp in which students spend four weeks in a village-like setting. The Korean Language Village is designed to simulate living in Korea which represents an entirely imaginary space in which learners use the target language in real world contexts behind a backdrop of imagination and play. The aim of this study is to explore the roles of humor and creativity in the process of language learning. With detailed analysis on interaction occurring during the formal instruction periods, the findings shows that learning and play are inextricably tied. Language play takes on important role in second language development, and at the same time, language could provide an indication of learners’ acquisition of and competence in the target language.

병리학적 관점에서의 아토피 피부염의 치료와 스킨케어 방향에 관한 연구

아토피란 그 발병 원인과 기전에 관해서 명확히 밝혀져 있진 않으나 유전적, 환경적, 면역학적인 소인이 강한 질환으로 보는 견해가 지배적인 만성적(chranic) 피부 질환이다. 아토피성 피부염은 외부물질에 대한 비정상적 또는 이상 항원 항체 반응으로 생기는 알레르기 현상으로 소양증과 피부병변 등을 일으키는데 이러한 증상은 단기적인 치료만으로 완치되기 어려운 질환이며 완치나 호전이 되더라도 다른 질환으로의 알레르기 행진이 진행될 수 있으므로 근본적이고 원인적인 질환의 이해와 장기적인 꾸준한 치료 노력이 필요하다. 또한 스테로이드 같은 약물에만 전적으로 의지하기보다는 환경적 외부 자극 요인을 제거함과 동시에 피부관리 차원측면에서의 예방적 접근방법도 충분히 고려되어야 할 것이다. 양의학적으로든 한의학적으로든 이제 아토피 피부염은 시간이 해결해 주리라는 시간적 방치보다는 질환을 치료하는데 있어 적극적인 자세가 요구되며 아토피 피부염의 개별성과 개인차를 배려한 치료법과 예방법 그리고 약물을 대체할 수 있는 피부관리와 같은 대체요법들을 통해 장기적인 치료와 호전된 상태의 유지, 재발방지, 다른 알레르기 질환으로의 이행방지 등의 과제를 풀어가야 할 것이며 무엇보다 아토피 피부염의 완치를 위한 다양한 치료법 개발과 그 근본적 질환의 원인을 찾아내는데 좀더 많은 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 본다.

편백(Chamaecyparis obtusa)잎 추출물의 항산화 및 항염효과에 관한 연구

Chamaecyparis Obtusa is known to contain a good amount of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory substances. For this, we analyzed the influence on the generation of ROS and activation of SOD, as well as tests of DPPH annihilation activity in order to prove the antioxidization efficacy of COL. The result of the analysis showed that at the density of 200, 100, 50, 25 μg/mL, the DPPH annihilation activity turned out to be, respectively, 61.5±1.6, 53.9±0.2, 32.8±0.9, and 14.8±0.6%. Meanwhile, the activity of SOD appeared to be 10.9±1.8, 8.5±2.0, 6.5±1.8, 5.4±2.0% of anti-oxidization activities. Also, the inhibition rate of ROS by COL was, at 1000, 250, 62.5, and 15.6 μg/mL, respectively, 61.6, 58.6, 60.3, and 53.8% compared to the control group. Also, the measurement of Cytokine generation by COL at EoL-1 and THP-1 cells showed that the generation of MCP-1, IL-6, and IL-8 was higher or similar to that of the control group. But, the Mite processing groups showed a statistically significant tendency of decrease (**p<0.01) According to the above mentioned results, it was showed that the natural substance of COL extract did have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, and further studies would be necessary to foster the use of COL as natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory substance in a wider variety of contexts.

아토피 피부염 모델인 NC,Nga 마우스에 대한 편백잎 추출물의 면역조절효과에 관한 연구

In this study, a test for the immunity control effect by Chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaves(COL) extracts on NC/Nga mice as the models for atopic dermatitis was conducted with the following results. The test on the internal toxicity tests for the liver and the kidney showed that, as for the test group with COL, all of the measurement for ALT(Alanine transaminase), AST(Aspartate transaminase), BUN(Blood urea nitrogen), Creatinine were within the normal range. Also, the immunity rate of CD4+, B220+/CD23+, CD11b+/Gr-1+within PBMC showed a significant decrease compared to that of the control group. The cytokine within the blood serum, that is, IL-5, L-13, and IL-17 showed a decreased compared to the control group. Especially, the generation of Histamine decreased with statistical significance. Also, cytokine IL-4 within the spleen cells that were activated by CD3/CD28 appeared to decrease, especially with a significant decrease in IFN-γ. In addition, the immune cells in Dorsal Skin, namely CD3+, CD11b+/Gr-1+, CD11b+/Gr-1, as well as the generation of the cytokine in the skin cells, IL-5, IL-13 as well as mRNA all decreased with statistical significance. The dermatitis appearance index of NC/Nga mice also decreased significantly, with a relative decrease in the permeation of the white cells and the thickness of epidermis and dermis. The above mentioned results indicated that the extracts of COL was effective in improving the symptoms of atopic dermatitis through various immunity control mechanisms through experiments.

카자흐스탄의 발굴과 보고서

중앙아시아의 카자흐스탄에는 우리나라의 고총 고분과 유사한 쿠르간(Курган)이 확인된다. 2015년 국립문화재연구소를 시작으로 국내 조사 기관들이 이에 대한 발굴조사를 진행하면서 관련 자료들이 국내에 널리 알려지게 되었다. 본고에서는 이러한 카자흐스탄의 발굴조사와 보고서 작성의 방법과 절차에 관해 검토하여 보았다. 특히 대표 유적인 ‘고분’에 대한 조사 방법을 알아보고, 이들이 가지는 장단점과 한국과의 차이점 등을 분석하여 보았다. 카자흐스탄의 고고학 관련 법령이나 조사방법 등은 러시아의 영향을 많이 받았다. 한편, 고분의 발굴조사는 매장주체부를 확인하는 데만 집중하는 경향이 있다. 이로 인해 고분의 축조 방식이나 묘도 등 부속 시설에 대한 조사가 면밀히 이루어 지지 못하는 경우도 있으나, 최근에는 여러 조사 기법을 적용하고자 하는 시도가 보인다. 발굴조사 보고서는 행정용으로 5부만 출판하게 되며, 우리와 같이 배포는 하지 않는다. 발굴조사 보고서의 내용은 우리와 유사한 점이 많지만 주요 유물에 대해서만 선별하여 보고서에 싣는 등 일부 차이점이 확인된다. 한편 보고서에 유구·유물에 대한 해석과 다양한 민족지적, 자연과학적 연구를 함께 수록하는 경우가 있는데, 이는 우리 보고서에 적용할 수 있는 좋은 사례로 볼 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 유라시아 주요 국가인 카자흐스탄 고고학의 조사 기법을 이해하고, 이러한 해외의 다양한 조사 방법과 이론을 통해 한국 고고학이 더욱 발전하는 계기가 되기를 기대한다. In Kazakhstan of Central Asia, there is kurgan which is similar to mounded tomb in South Korea. National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage has started excavation research in 2015, followed by others thus related materials have been introduced to Korea. In this article, excavation research and reporting methods of Kazakhstan are introduced. Especially, I looked at the methods of excavation of tombs, analyzed and compared similarities and differences with ours. Laws regarding archeology and excavation of Kazakhstan have been affected by Russia. Meanwhile, excavation research of tombs is mostly concentrated on confirming the burial parts. For this reason, research of construction methods of tombs and extra parts like added burial is not being closely looked at. Applying trial of various research methods has been gradually growing recently. Only 5 copies of excavation research report are published, and not be distributed to public. The contents of excavation research report is similar with Korea, but are different in including only selected relics. Meanwhile, they include various interpretation of remains and relics, such as ethnographic research, and scientific research, etc, which could be applied to our research report as good examples. Through this research, I hope that we understand the methods of archeological research of Kazakhstan, one of the main country of Eurasia, and make this as an opportunity for Korean archeology to further advance.
