A study on the technical development of reduction noise for construction equipment which makes loud noise. And it shows the result of effectiveness with new Breaker Soundproofing Cover and Movable Air Soundproofing Wall when Breaker generates impact noise in construction site. As a result of study, in case of Breaker Soundproofing Cover that type-A(Class Cloth 1.2t) has techniques for efficient Noise reduction about 5.4dB(A). In case of Movable Air Soundproofing Wall has techniques for efficient Noise Reduction about more than 12dB(A), when it is located at 7.5m from the noise source. And there are no significant differences between the thickness of Air Soundproofing Wall and it just 0.1~0.5dB differences.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of teachers to the learning objectives (specific behavioral objectives, SBO) of their own specialty subjects at real educational situation and also to examine how and when teachers use the SBO. A questionnaire was constructed through a series of discussion at the task force meetings. Opinions from the members were gathered and a list of 21 items of question was generated and finally rephrased each question item to make 20 closed-type and 1 open-type questionnaire. The questionnaires were administered to all the faculties who have been engaged in teaching a subject of basic medical sciences. Although the response rate of the questionnaire was 43%, fairly even distribution of rank proportion of responded faculties were analyzed that could give strong convince of acceptable level of the results. The analysis showed that most of the faculties have fairly high perceptions to the necessity of SBO in teaching situations, while only 25% of thorn administered the SBO to their students. About 33% of the responded faculties construct SBO individually, and 25% have joined to a group work in their own department. A booklet, Specific Behavioral Objectives in Basic Medical Sciences , has been well known and 85% of them used the booklet as a reference to make their own SBO. 65% of the faculties keep the booklets and the remaining groups answered that they don t have it although some of them have been seen it before.

The various plants including power plants have been increased near downtown in accordance with the policy objective of rising the power feed rate and development projects. As a result of these various plants near residential area, noise damage complaints has been raised very often. The power plant is included with the range of environmental impact assessment project. Nevertheless, environmental noise issues regarding construction of these power plants have arisen. Accordingly it is time to consider the environmental and social issues of plants noise in accordance with the government``s policy objectives of increased power production. In this study, we reviewed the current noise impact assessment and we also sought solutions to these issues. In order to minimize the problem of noise impact on neighborhood and residents, we intended to propose alternative method of 3D simulation in dealing with these issues.

Alkali gelatinization of rice, corn, arrow root and ginger root starches at various sodium hydroxide concentrations was investigated. Critical concentrations of alkali for starch gelatinization ranged from 2.33 to 3.17 meq NaOH per gram of starch. Ginger root starch was most resistant to alkali gelatinization and arrow root starch was least stable to alkali.

일반계 4품종, 다수계 7품종 및 찹쌀 1품종의 백미를 대상으로 칼로리, 무기질, 및 아미노산 함량을 분석하였다. 칼로리나 무기질 함량은 일반계와 다수계 품종간에 큰 차이점이 없었으며, 찹쌀은 멥쌀에 비하여 인과 칼륨의 함량이 높았다. 아미노산 함량은 글루탐산을 제외하고는 품종간에 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 메티오닌은 품종간에 큰 차이를 보였다. 시료 쌀의 제1제한 아미노산은 모두 라이신이었으며 제2제한아미노산은 트레오닌이었다. Calorie, mineral content and amino acid composition of four japonica, seven j×indica and one waxy milled rice were analyzed. No significant differences in calorie, mineral content and amino acid composition were found between japonica and j×indica rice varieties. Only the variation of methionine among varieties was noticed. The most limiting amino acid of milled rices was lysine.
알코올에 의한 α-Tocopherol이 혈액성분 및 간조직에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

This study was done in order to observe the effects of ethanol and a-tocopherol on the HDL-chelesterol, r-GTP, CPK, aminotransferase(AST-ACT) and histopathologic findings. The white Sprague Dawley rat were Classified into 4 groups:0.9% NaCl ad-ministration was group A 25% ethanol administration for the each 5,10 and 15 days was ethanol group B(BI, B2 and B3), 25% ethanol administration for th each 5 and 10 days, and 50% a-tocopherol for the 2 and 7 days administration was group C(CI and C2), 50% a-tocopherol pretreated for the each 5, 10 and 16 days and 25% ethanol for the 2,7 and 10 days administration was group D(D1, D2 and D3). The following results were obtained 1. The Biochemical changes of serum HDL-cholesterol, r-GTP, CPK, GOT and GPT activities was significantly increased in ethanol treated group than group D.(D1, D2 and D3). 2. The Biochemical changes of each subgroup in ethanol treated group HDL-cholesterol was most highly increased. The group C1 and DI was near normal. 3. The change of r-GTP activity of each subgroup in ethanol treated group was highly increased than the group B1, The Cl and Dl groups was near normal. 4. The change of CPK activity of each subgroup in ethanol treated group was most highly in creased than the B3 group. the group Cl and Dl groups was near normal. 5. The change of GOT and GPT activities of each subgroups in B3 and D3 was most highly increased but the C2 and D2 was not significant. 6. The histopathological changes of ethanol treated group(B2, and B3) found the lipid droplet and infiltration of inflammatory cells, and mild ballooning degeneration. The group C3 and D3 found the mild infiltration and lipid droplet.

Following result were obtained from 184 normal individuals who distributed from ages 10 to 69 and to pe performed the determination of serum phospholipid levels. 1. The normal serum phospholipid levels in Korean were found that males were 187±16.2mg/l00ml females 181.6±16.1mg/100ml, and mean of both sexes 182.2±16. lmg/100ml. The normal cholesterol levels were found that males were 189.5±21.4mg/100ml, females 186.6±22.4mg/100m1, and mean of both sexes 188.1-+21.9mg/100ml. 2. The levels of phospholipid were varied slightly according to the age put not significant in statistical aspects. 3. We have introduced to the modified method of serum phospholipied determination.
Carotenoids 식이와 알코올이 혈중 지질 성분에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Increasingly, humans are subjected to exposure to various foreign chemicals including drugs, food additives, pollutants. Some of them may be harmful and especially give rise to free radicals during metabolism in the tissues. These radicals such as superoxide, hydroxyl radical and hydrogen peroxide, induce oxidation of the macromolecules, resulting in a variety of damages in the body. However, humans have anti-oxidative mechanisms well developed against these damage. Anti-oxidants such as β-carotene and vitamin A, C, and E, are believed to play a major role in these mechanisms by acting as cofactors. On the basis that alcohol, among human's favorite foods, is one of the most common oxidative chemical, this study was carried out to elucidate biochemical changes in the lipid components of the blood after alcohol administration on Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Also, we investigated the effects of carotenoid and β-carotene diets on the alcohol-injected rats. At first, the concentrations of serum lipids were highly increased at alcohol-injected rats for one week (AL-1W), but significantly decreased at those dieted with β-carotene for one week (BC-1W). Second, after 2 weeks, the concentrations of serum lipids were exclusive decreased at alcohol-administrated rats. Third, the lipid concentration was increasing in β-carotene-dieted rats throughout the experiments for 3 weeks. These results may suggest that alcohol can cause damages in the liver, resulting in inflammation and increase of the concentration of serum lipids. Also, β-carotene and carotenoid diets are believed to protect the liver against the oxidative damages by alcohol administration.
