As interest in Well-Being grows, the demand on friendly environment houses is growing it’s time to consider more creative houses which meet personal’s needs then monolithic houses. Well-Being word can be defined on different points of view. The result is that Well-Being needs harmony between physical elements and mental elements.

The purpose of this research Is to provide the basic data for the effective workplace design, sothat employees are not suffered from physical barrier. This research based on literature review andempirical data by surveying office workers. Data have been analyzed using percentage, means, t-testand Ducan’s multiple range test. The results and conclusions of research are the follow : 1) Based on the universal design principles, this research showed that employees evacuated theiroffice environment generally as ‘adequate’ in the aspect of accessibility, adaptability, safety & health,and supportiveness. The detail report was gained from classifying characteristics of the sources.Male workers were more satisfied 7han female workers with their workplace. The younger and lowerPosition workers evaluated workplace as inferior than the older and the higher status group. Workerswith long working hours and higher education, evaluated their workplace as the inferior one. 2) Conditions of the actual office environment were compared with the office workers’ demand. Themost important principles identified by the employees are orderly the safety & health, adaptability,supportiveness, accessibility of the environment; while, the current workplace design is focusing onorderly supportiveness, safet? & health, accessibility, and the adaptability of environment. Theworkplace should be designed focusing more on safety & hea17h, and adaptability, and, this result isdifferent from what the universal design to be weighted like accessibility
