「와명부(蛙鳴賦)」의 재해석을 통한 장자적(莊子的) 상담이론(相談理論)의 탐색

1980년대 후반∼1990년대 초부터 한국인의 토착 심리와 문화적 특성에 서구 심리학자들의 관심이 집중되어져 왔다. 미국정신의학회의 진단기준 제4판(DSM Ⅳ, 1992)에 오른 ``화병(Hwabyeong)’이 그 대표적 예이다. 조선의 학자인 장유(張維, 1587∼1638)의 「蛙鳴賦」는 전형적 寓言인데, 그는 자신에게 찾아온 ``幽憂(火病 또는 憂鬱症)’를, 『장자』를 읽고 그와 대화함으로써 스스로 위기를 극복하고 자가 치유하는 과정을 이 글 속에서 보여주고 있다. 본고에서 필자는 「蛙鳴賦」본문을 상담학적으로 재해석하고자 하였다. 그리고 장유의 글 속에 담긴 장자적 사유방식과 상담이론의 실마리를 찾고자 하였다. 필자는 첫 걸음이라 할 만한 개념어들-즉, ``心齋’와 ``坐忘’, ``天賴’ 등을 만나게 되었고, 그리고 ``無爲自然’과 ``萬物齊同’, ``物我一致’와 ``天機自鳴’을 그 초기 성과물로 얻게 되었다. 본고의 텍스트는 조선중기의 한문이지만, 필자는 그 글을 하나의 개인 상담 기록물로 보고, 원 필자인 장유에 대한 현대식 <개인상담 결과보고서>를 작성해 보았다. 이 작업은 옛사람과 현대인의 만남을 시도하는 일이며, 동시에 동양의 인간학과 서양의 심리학을 잇는 작업이라고 생각한다. From the late 1980s to the early 1990s, the Korean`s aboriginal mental state and specific cultural character has attracted considerable attention from many western psychologists. For Example, Hwabyeong(火病) in DSM Ⅳ.(APA, 1992) is a prime example. Joseon scholar Changyou(張維, 1587∼1638)`s chinese writing-「Wamyungboo(蛙鳴賦, Frogs` Song)」is a typical allegory, it shows his self-conquest process from Yuwoo(幽憂, Deep melancholia) through reading 『Chuangtzu(莊子)』. In this paper, I want to make a reinterpretation of the text in a point of view counseling geographical perspective. And I expected to find some sauces of reasoning fomula and counseling theory of Chuangtzu (莊子) style in Changyou(張維). I met the first step idea and a small light beam, like as Simjae(心齋), Jwamang(坐忘), Cheonroe(天賴, sound of Nature), and Muwijayeon(無爲自然, the nature doing nothing), Manmuljedong(萬物齊同, all universal nature is equal), Mulailchi(物我一致, concord of ego and non-ego), Chungijamyeong(天機自鳴, the profound secret of nature sound) are the beginning achievements. Though the text is chinese writing of 17C, I can read it for one individual counselling documentary, and so I try to draw out <Individual Counseling Report for Changyou(張維)> I think it is the new trial for meeting the ancients and the moderns, and at the same time it is the work of Eastern anthropology and Western psychology.
