      • 레이저 照射時 齒面 變化에 關한 電子顯微鏡的 硏究

        After quantitative analysis was made compositional substance of the enamel and dentin of sound mandibular molars with ICP-AES, we mad specimen composed of sound deciduous incisors and mandibular molars. We examined decalcified pattern of experimental group that was irradiated energy density 30, 40, 50 J/㎠ with pulsed Nd : YAG laser by SEM and analysed quantitatively decalcifying released Ca. The obtained results were as follows : 1. As resulting quantitative analysis of enamel, dentin of the mandibular molars, enamel was released Ca : 40.7wt%, Mg : 0.6wt%, Na : 2.6wt%, K : 0.2wt% and dentin was released Ca : 35.7wt%, Mg : 1.0wt%, Na : 2.7wt%, K : 0.2wt%. 2. It was seen obstruction of dentinal tubules after decalcified dentin surface of diciduous incisor irradiated with energy density 40 J/㎠. 3. It was seen fused surface and obstruction of dentinal tubules after decalcified dentin surface of mandibular molars irradiated with energy density 50 J/㎠. 4. In the irradiated deciduous incisor, the amount of released Ca. was the smallest at 40 J/㎠. The amount of released Ca. between experimental group and control group was significant and the rate was enamel : 0.43, dentin : 0.53, when substance was decalcified for one minute (p<0.01). 5. In the irradiated mandibular molars, the amount of released Ca. was the smallest at 50 J/㎠. The amount of releast Ca. between experimental group and control group was not significant and the rate was enamel : 0.93, dentin : 0.83 when substance was decalcified for one minute (p>0.05).

      • 乳臼醫-級窩洞復合레진 修復時의 邊綠漏出에 關한 硏究

        The purpose of this study was to determine the marginal leakage of composite resin on class I cavity of deciduous molar teeth. Experimental cavities were prepared in the occlusal surface of 74 deciduous molar teeth of caries free or enamel caries, and were filled with Bis-Fil by different four method. The tooth-resin spccimens were thermocycled, and sectioned at middle 1/2 buccolingually. The specimens were observed under stereoscopic microscope(x20). Following results were obtained through the study 1. Acid et ched and not etched cavity showed not significant difference in marginal leakage. 2. After application of bonding agent, marginal leakage was reduced significantly. 3. On the glazing, degree of marginal leakage was not significantly different from cavity used only bonding agent.

        조직구 증식증 : Hand-Schuller-Christian 병에 대한 증례보고

        Histiocytosis X is a proliferative disorder of histiocytes that consisting of three clinical syndromes which shared several basic clinical and histopathologic features ; Letterer-Siwe disease, Hand-Schuller-Christian disease, and eosinophilic granuloma Hand-Schuller-Christian disease commonly affects older children between the ages of 5 and 10. but may be seen in any age group. It typically follows a more chronic courses. 7 years old female are refered to the Dept. of Pedodontics. College of Dentistry. Chonbuk National University due to the severe tooth mobility on whole dentition. clinical examination., radiographic and histopathologic findings were used to evaluation of the lesion. The purpose of this article is to report a case of histiocyte involving oral cavity and to review the procedure involved in the diagnosis and treatment of this disorder.

      • 象牙質面에 對한 複合레진 接着强度에 關한 實驗的 硏究

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the tensile and shear strengths between dentin surfaces and three composite resins : Clerfil F-Ⅱ, Scotchbond with Silux, Dentin Adhesive with Durafil. The 216 whole extracted human primary molars were mounted in or thodontic resin. The dentin surfaces were cut to the horizontal with occlusal surface. Three composite resins(4.6㎜ in diameter) were measured after 1 hour and 24 hours water immersion, and recorded the peak level by the universal testing instruments (Instron Model 4201). The results were obtained as follows ; 1. According to water immersion time, for the tensile and shear strengths, Clerfil F-Ⅱ was the highest one in value among three composite resins and Dentin Adhesive with Durafil was the lowest one. 2. In the tensile and shear strengths according to the water immersion time, there was a slight increase for the Clerfil F-Ⅱ, but showed not significance. (p<0.01) 3. For Scotchbond with Silux, the tensile and shear strengths were decreased according to water immersion time, and showed significant difference in tensile strength only. (p<0.01) 4. For Dentin Adhesive with Durafil, the tensile and shear strengths were decreased according to water immersion time, and showed significant difference in shear strength only. (p<0.01)

      • 상악소구치의 원심와동 충전시 파절강도에 관한 실험적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to determine the fracture strength of marginal ridge of restored maxillary premolar teeth. Fifty nine extracted human maxillary premolars were divided into 4 groups : 1) treated teeth 2) DO amalgam restoration 3) DO posterior resin restoration 4) tunnel posterior resin and silver alloy-glass ionomer cement. All teeth were loaded occlusally in a universal testing machine until they were fractured. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The fracture strength of teeth restored with posterior resin and silver alloy glass ionomer cement on tunnel cavity showed significant difference to teeth restored with amalgam on DO cavity (P<0.01), but no significant difference to unprepared teeth (P>0.05). 2. There was significant difference of the fracture strength between teeth restored with posterior resin on DO cavity and untreated teeth (P<0.05).
