Operation of KORAIL's level crossing is in charge of KORAIL. As taking over existing level crossing to KORAIL, they do not conduct risk assessments, so we do not know about any possibilities of inner risk. And present operation of safety of the level crossing is just regular checking of reaction and functions of safety equipments physically, we need to react to the changes of what's going on around of level crossing and incestigation of traffic flow and surrounding conditions more spontaneously. So, we have to prepare the strategies against accidents of level crossing cost-effectively based on regular risk assessments for sustainable safety improvements and overcome operational problems of present level crossing's safety. Here, we're going to investigate the level of safety level and present risk factors of the level crossing using risk assessments for accidents/error of the equipments to show operational strategies of level crossing based on risk assessments.

KTX decelerator is a device to fulfil a role of tranmission of turning force to reduction device of an axle by serrate device. Currently, KTX decelerator's TBO(Time Between Overhaul) has 3 years cycle. As for the dissembly maintenance of a device, its maintenance is conducted every 1.4M kms. In this study, since opening of KTX, we analyzed reliability, maintainability, availability of KTX decelerator by researching historical records of maintenance of the decelerator, and based on above data, investigated whether its TBO cycle and maintenance works properly or not. And we considered maintenance policies of KTX decelerator to improve efficiency in maintenance in the future.

Looking into The safety management system of KORAIL, it is usually enforcing the safety check on a regular basis to prevent railroad accident, yet most training and regulations related to accidents are focusing on the field of emergent countermeasures just like prompt report and accident restoration in the event of accidents. However, It is possible that this takes care of the accidents quickly but It can not be a proper way to decrease the real accidents as a scientific safety management system. therefore, For the effective safety management, the accidents in the past have to be investigated and advanced management system is needed and applied so as to control of the risk changing into ALARP level by evaluating the risk about the accident occuring probability and severity. This study shows the alternative cost and effective cost by considering the ways to reduce the risk efficiently and by executing the risk evaluation of crossing accidents occurred more than other accidents among railroad accidents. so, we will suggest the safety management method to invest the cost effectively.

Using network communication, KTX OBCS is KTX"s core device which inspects operation status of various electric equipments and supports driving command, train control, train"s maintenance, train crew"s driving. Since this device is manufactured as specialized system, being dependent on TGV manufacture specification and France"s high speed train operation method, actual technic transfer is difficult. Therefore, there are many difficulties, since most of interface signals are connected with OBCS when function improvement, maintenance, various electric equipments(propulsion control device, auxiliary power supply device, door control device etc.) are replaced with localized ones, which are required in operational view after introduction of KTX. Ergo, this study would like to contribute to function improvement and maintenance"s efficiency, furthermore to realize technical independence, escaping from dependency of developed foreign technology in high speed train and electric equipments, through KTX OBCS" function analysis and mutual interface information analysis with peripheral device(driver console, PID system, fault display device, various electric equipments).

6종류의 배지를 이용한 135일 동안 8번의 박테리아상 분석을 통하여 새우젓갈 숙성 관련 우점종을 결정하였다. Marine agar를 배양에 사용하였을 경우, 가장 많은 수의 박테리아가 검출되었고, 숙성 65일차에 그 수가 2.51 × 107 CFU/g에 달하였다. 순수분리된 총 467균주는 42속 87종으로 동정되었고, 16균주는 기존의 알려진 박테리아와 상동성을 나타내지 않았다. 1일차 분석에서 39종이 검출되었던 박테리아는 135일차에 13종으로 감소하여 우점화가 진행됨을 학인하였다. 속 수준에서의 우점은 Staphylococcus, Salimicrobium, Kocuria, Psychrobacter 순으로 나타났고, 1일차 분리균주의 2% 수준을 차지하던 Staphylococcus, Salimicrobium 속 균주는 135일차에 각각 39%와 36%에 달하였다. 우점종으로 확인된 Staphylococcus equorum, Salimicrobium salexigens, Kocuria palustris는 각각 전체 분리균주의 23.6%, 16.1%, 10.9%을 차지하였다. St. equorum와 Sm. salexigens는 21% (w/v) NaCl 농도에서의 생육이 확인되어 새우젓갈 숙성에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 추정된다. To determine the dominant bacterial species during the Saeu-jeotgal ripening process, the cultivable bacterial population was examined over a 135-day period using six different growth media. The greatest numbers of bacteria were identified when marine agar was used for culture, with maximum cell density identified at day 65 (2.51 × 107 colony forming units/g). Over the course of 135 days, the bacterial diversity was analyzed eight times. A total of 467 isolates, comprising 87 species from 42 genera, as well as 16 isolates belonging to previously unknown species, were identified. The number of species detected decreased from 39 at day 1 to 13 at day 135. The order of dominance at the genus level was as follows: Staphylococcus, Salimicrobium, Kocuria, and Psychrobacter. Staphylococcus and Salimicrobium accounted for 2% of the diversity at day 1, and then increased to 39% and 36%, respectively, at day 135. The dominant species Staphylococcus equorum, Salimicrobium salexigens, and Kocuria palustris accounted for 23.6%, 16.1%, and 10.9% of all isolates, respectively. Importantly, both St. equorum and Sm. salexigens remained viable at a NaCl concentration of 21% (w/v), which indicates their strong involvement in the ripening of Saeu jeotgal.

KTX OBCS has computers, peripheral devices and command control channels. The computers are connected to TORNAD* network. The peripheral devices are connected to computers. The command control channels are used for the KTX vehicle's control, monitoring and maintenance. The OBCS provides drivers and maintenance engineers with the analysis and monitoring of the hindrance to the train service by utilizing the vehicle network information and low-voltage input/output control channel. The operation and maintenance feature of the OBCS enables KTX to have safe train service and immediate maintenance for the hindrance. also makes it possible to monitor the static and dynamic status of each device and compatibility of the system by analysing malfunction and integrity under certain circumstances and by enhancing equipments quality. This paper could introduce the efficient maintenance system and new applications and serve as a reference material for the immediate and safe analysis of KTX vehicle and its devices.
