초등 사회과 지리개념의 체계성 분석 - “개념체계도”를 중심으로 -

본 연구의 목적은 개념체계도를 활용하여 2007년 개정 초등학교 사회과 3, 4, 6학년 교과서에 담긴 지리개념이 체계적으로 구성되어 있는지를 분석하고자 하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 개념과 범주화, 지리교육의 기본 개념, 개념체계도에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 NCGE&AAG, NGS, 영국 지리교육과정에서 제안한 기본 개념 분류 방식에 따라 교과서 내 각 제재/주제별 개념이 어떠한 유형에 해당하는지를 분석하였다. 그리고 각 제재/주제별 개념체계도가 개념들 간의 관계를 통한 설명 방식에 있어서 위계적, 범주적, 인과적 개념체계도 유형 가운데 어느 유형에 해당하는지도 분석하였다. 개념체계의 유형과 지리 기본개념과의 연계성에 대한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘입지’와 관련된 개념은 위계적인 서술 방식이 사용되었다. 둘째, ‘장소 내 관계’에 해당하는 개념은 대체로 인과적인 서술 형태를 보였다. 셋째, ‘이동’에 해당하는 개념은 대체로 인과적인 경향을 보였다. 넷째, 환경과 관련된 개념은 대체로 인과적인 서술 경향을 보였다. 다섯째, ‘지리적 탐구와 기능’ 개념에 해당하는 제재/주제는 범주적인 개념체계도나 위계적인 개념체계도의 형식을 지니고 있다. The purpose of this study is to analyse whether or not geographical concepts in the social studies textbooks, revised by the 2007 Curriculum, from Grades 3, 4 and 6 are organized systematically, using a concept map. For this, based on the understanding of concepts and categorization, basic concepts in geographical education and concept maps, concepts for each topic/theme in the textbooks were categorized and analysed for each type according to the method of concept classification proposed by the NCGE&AAG, NGS and Geography National Curriculum for England. Furthermore, concept maps for each topic/theme were analysed as to which type they pertain to amongst hierarchical, categorical and causal concept maps in terms of the form of description of the relationship between concepts. In connection with the type of concept system and basic geographical concepts, results are as follows. First, concepts related to ‘location’ used the hierarchical description. Second, concepts related to ‘relationships within places’ mostly showed a causal form of description. Third, concepts related to ‘movement’ mostly showed a causal form. Fourth, concepts related to environment generally showed a causal form of description. Fifth, topics/themes related to the concept of ‘geographical enquiry and skills’ demonstrated forms of categorical concept map or hierarchical concept map.

본 연구는 흡연자의 구강 내 환경을 관찰하여 흡연자의 구강관리용품 사용에 대한 중요성과 구강 환경개선을 위해 지속적이고 체계적인 구강관리용품 사용의 필요성을 확인하기 위해 강원도 지역의 대학생들을 대상으로 흡연자군 12명, 비흡연자군 12명에게 설문조사 및 실험조사를 실시하였다. 조사결과 두 집단 모두 구강관리용품 사용율은 75%로 나타났으며, 그 중 치실 70.7%으로 구강관리용품 중 치실을 가장 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 비흡연자군보다 흡연자군이 구강관리용품 사용 후 PHP Index, Streptococcus.mutans 수, snyder 활성도가 감소한 것으로 나타났고, 비흡연자군보다 흡연자군이 구강관리용품 사용 후 pH가 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구조사 결과 구강관리용품의 사용이 전반적으로 흡연자의 구강건강을 증진시키고 구강 환경을 개선할 수 있다고 나타났다. 구강관리용품에 대한 교육을 실시하면 흡연자들의 동기부여에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다. The aim of the study was to observe the oral environment of smokers and to examine the importance and necessity of using oral care products for smokers. The questionnaires and experiments were conducted to 12 students of smokers and 12 of nonsmokers in Kangwon National University. The use of oral care products has been shown to improve the oral health of smokers overall and improve the oral environment. Providing training on oral hygiene products will help motivate smokers.
