Ozone has a strong oxidized capacity next to fluorine, so it is used for oxidized dissolution of organism, decoloration, deodorization, fumigation, etc., regarding to water. In this study dye wastewater was treated strongly with ozone at 100g/hr and the flow rate through ozone contact tank was adjusted to 2l/min The experiment was conducted at three different conditions. In the first place, effluent and raw wastewater was ozonized and secondly raw wastewater was treated using AlCl₃ and PAC coagulation. The third condition was post-ozone treatment following PAC coagulation. As a result, pre-ozone treatment process with PAC coagulation and post-ozone treatment showed more efficient effluent quality than the previous conventional process.

Ozone has a strong oxidized capacity next to fluorine, so it is used for oxidized dissolution of organism, decoloration, deodorization, fumigation etc regarding to water. From this thesis, papermill wastewater is disposed strongly with Ozone, and then, confirmed if it is used as a re-applied-water or not. The result of disposal with Ozone is as follows. 1) Even if it injects Ozone 5ppm o fa small quantity, it gets a high removal rate of 45.5% in case BOD. 2) When it injects Ozone 10ppm, 20ppm, 30ppm, a regular removal rate is shown for BOD & COD. It is judged that this situation is occurred by disposing material with non-disposal nature remains into water. 3) From injecting over 30ppm, removal rate is increased suddenly Therefore, optimum injecting quantity of Ozone through this experiment, is 30ppm. 4) As a result of this experiment, injection of Ozone 5~30ppm can make to sterilizw microbe and to remove organism. Therefore, it is judge that re-applied-water may be used.
