수요자중심의 교재개발을 위한 스포츠경영학 교과내용에 대한 중요도 분석

본 연구는 스포츠경영학 교과내용에 대한 중요도를 스포츠경영 현장실무자와 스포츠경영학자 사이의 차이를 분석해 현장 중심적 스포츠경영학 교재개발의 방향을 제시하여 스포츠경영학의 지식기반을 구축하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하기 위해 수행되었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 기존의 국내외 스포츠경영학 교재에 대한 내용분석(content analysis)을 통해 스포츠경영학의 교과영역과 교과내용을 종합적으로 분류하고 이를 토대로 스포츠경영 현장실무자 및 스포츠경영 학자에 대한 설문조사를 통해 자료를 확보하였다. 수집된 139부의 유효설문지를 변량분석을 실시해 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 스포츠경영학의 교과영역에 대한 중요도는 ‘관리 및 실무’, ‘사례’ 그리고 ‘과정’ 등의 순으로 나타났으며 ‘개념과 원리’, 관리및 실무‘, ’이슈‘, 그리고 ’사례‘ 영역에서 스포츠경영학자의 중요도 인식수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 스포츠경영의 ’개념과 원리‘ 영역에 대한 중요도에서는 ’개념‘, ’구성요소‘, 경영환경’, ‘이론 및 원리’ 내용에서 스포츠경영학자들의 인식수준이높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스포츠경영의 ‘과정’ 영역에서는 ‘기획’과 ‘조직’ 내용에서 스포츠경영학자들이 스포츠용품 실무자보다 높은 중요도 인식 수준을 갖고 있었다. 넷째, 스포츠경영의 ‘응용기술’ 영역에서는 ‘평가기법’과 ‘의사결정’ 내용에서 의미있는 차이가 나타났다. 다섯째, 스포츠경영의 ‘관리 및 실무’ 영역에서는 ‘조직관리’, ‘시설관리’, ‘회원관리’ 그리고 ‘정보관리’내용에서 의미 있는 차이가 나타났다. 여섯째, 스포츠경영의 ‘이슈’ 영역에서는 ‘경제적’ 이슈에 대한 중요성이 상대적으로 높게 나타났으며 ‘법적’, ‘윤리적’, ‘경제적’ 그리고 ‘정책적’ 이슈 내용에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 마지막으로 스포츠경영의 ‘사례’ 영역에서는 ‘프로스포츠’, ‘국제스포츠‘, ’비영리스포츠‘ 그리고 ’매니지먼트‘ 내용에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. The purpose of study were to analyze the importance of sport management course contents in terms of sport management practitioners and academicians for developing user based textbook and thus to provide fundamentalinformation used for building a stronger body of knowledge in the field of sport management. In order to accomplish such study purposes, this study attempted to analyze the course contents of current sport management textbooks and thus develop a survey instrument. Then, a total of 240 practitioners and academicians were surveyed using convenience sampling method on site and email. 150 valid questionnaires were collected and analyzed using SPSS 18.0. Following findings were derived from current study. First, among sport management course domains, ``management and practice``, ``cases`` and ``management process`` were perceived relatively important and most of course domains were importantly perceived by academicians. Second, in concepts and principles, ``concepts``, ``components``, ``management environments`` and ``theories and principles`` were importantly perceived by academicians. Third, in process domain, ``planning`` and ``organizing`` were more importantly perceived by academicians than sport equipment practitioners. Fourth, in applied skill domain, ``evaluation technique`` and ``decision making`` had important differences among academicians and practitioners. Fifth, in management and practice domain, ``organization management``, ``facility management``, ``membership management`` and``information management`` had significant differences among them. Sixth, in issues domain, ``economic issues`` had the highest mean score and ``legal``, ``ethical``, ``economic`` issues had significant differences among the comparison groups. Finally, in cases domain, ``professional sport``, ``international sport``, ``non profit sport``, and ``management`` had significant differences among practitioners and academicians. According to the findings, several recommendations were suggested to provide for user based sport management textbook development.
