백워드 설계에 기반한 고등학교 특수학급 수학 수업 설계 및 실행

본 연구의 목적은 백워드 설계(Backward Design)를 활용하여 고등학교 특수학급 수학 수업을 설계 및 실행한 결과를 분석하여 현재 특수학급에서 이루어지는 수학 수업에 대한 개선 방향을 찾아 시사점을 제안하는 것이다. 연구 방법은 실행연구로 총 16차시의 수업을 설계하고 실행하는 과정에서 6회의 전문가 협의회를 실시하여 수업을 개선하는 과정을 담았다. 수집된 자료는 수업 설계안, 수업 성찰 일지, 수업 영상, 수업 전사본, 전문가 협의회 영상, 전문가 협의회 회의록이고, 수집된 자료는 귀납적 분석 방법과 실용적 절충주의에 근거하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 백워드 설계를 기반으로 한 특수학급 수학 수업 설계 및 실행을 통해 학습자의 진정한 이해에 기반을 둔 수업의 가능성을 확대하였다. 또한 지적장애를 가진 고등학교 학생들이 수학적 사고 경험을 통해 문제를 해결할 수 있는 역량을 함양할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 백워드 설계가 특수교육에 주는 의미와 특수교육 현장에서 백워드 설계를 활용하기 위한 시사점을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of designing and implementing high school special class mathematics classes using backward design to find improvement directions for current special class mathematics classes and suggest implications. The research method includes the process of improving classes by conducting six expert councils in the process of designing and implementing a total of 16 classes as an action study. The collected data included class design, class reflection diary, class video, class transcript, expert council video, and expert council meeting minutes, and the data were analyzed based on inductive analysis method and practical compromise. As a result of the study, the possibility of classes based on the true understanding of learners was expanded through the design and execution of special class mathematics classes based on backward design. In addition, it was confirmed that high school students with intellectual disability can cultivate the ability to solve problems through mathematical thinking experiences. Based on these research results, the meaning of backward design on special education and implications for using backward design in special education sites were presented.
