UVC-lamp sterilization of Bacillus atrophaeus spores on glass and tile
장한별,임진아,김정권 한국분석과학회 2021 학술대회논문집 Vol.2021 No.11
Ultraviolet-C (UV-C) radiation (100-280 nm) is a disinfection method to kill or inactivate microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens. In this study, UVC-lamp sterilization of Bacillus atrophaeus on glass and tile was investigated. Bacillus atrophaeus spores were diluted with 106 CFU/mL in PBS buffer and 50 μL of spore solution was loaded on a 1×1 cm glass piece or vitrified ceramic tile. After the sample was dried overnight, UVC-lamp irradiated on a each sample with 1 hr. Then, the sample was desorbed using a razor blade and repeated pipetting of 50 μL PBS containing 0.2% Tween 20. The desorbing solution was spreaded on agar plate, and incubated for 24 h at 37 ℃. As a result, bacteria appeared in UVC-lamp sterilization using glass piece, but all bacteria were killed in UVC-lamp sterilization using tiles. Sterilization of UVC-lamp using tile was more effective than sterilization of UVC-lamp using glass. In further research, we plan to reduce the UVC-lamp irradiation duration to confirm the tendency of sterilization effect on tile.

Franchise system in Korea has been developed in different way compared with American way of franchising based on mutual contract and intellectual property context. Korean franchising is mostly based on product distribution franchise concept rather than business format franchise in which franchisor makes revenue sources from providing their products as much as possible thru group purchasing and logistics rather than receiving royalty. Many franchise enterprises from Korea drive to enter into global franchise market based on the successful performance of Korean way of franchising. Korean enterprises are required to prepare completely for research and survey regarding local culture, custom, way of life and legal matters etc. when entering into global franchise market to gain a substantial performance. CaffeBene recently entered into American franchise business with success, and many other Korean franchise enterprises have a deep interest in proceeding with global franchise business modeling CaffeBene case. There is no Korean franchise enterprise in United Kingdom in which service franchise area in particular with personal service is considered to become a promising and potential franchise business and many people show a great interest in Oriental foods and beverages with well-being trend. Korean franchise enterprises have now access to United Kingdom easier because IT industry including internet of the country have been developed by leaps and bounds since London Olympic in 2012. The purpose of this study is to suggest key success factors and basic strategy such as situation analysis, selecting business format, and marketing strategy for successful launching of franchise business in United Kingdom.
A Relativistic Magnetohydrodynamic Code Based on an Upwind Scheme
장한별,류동수,Jang, Hanbyul,Ryu, Dongsu 한국천문학회 2012 天文學會報 Vol.37 No.2
Building a relativistic magnetohydrodynamic (RMHD) code based on upwind schemes has been a challenging project, because of the absence of analytic expressions of eigenvalues and eigenvectors. We found analytic expressions of eigenvalues and eigenvectors for adiabatic RMHD flows which are relatively simple and manageable. Especially, our eigenvectors can handle all degenerate points. Using these analytic forms, we built a code based on the total variation diminishing (TVD) scheme, and successfully performed one-dimensional shock tube tests.
사례 연구를 통한 Pre-con 단계의 린 건설 기반 IPD 프로젝트 적용 방안 도출
장한별,이주성,안용한 한국건설관리학회 2019 한국건설관리학회 논문집 Vol.20 No.6
Current construction project processes pose difficulties for construction management as inefficient communication between project participants seldom accurately reflects the needs of the owner. To solve this problem, lean construction-based Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), which facilitates cooperation and builds trust through the formation of horizontal relationships among participants, is becoming increasingly popular. However, although lean construction-based IPD improves productivity in the construction industry, few studies have focused specifically on developing effective methods that maximize the benefits gained from lean construction-based IPD. This study therefore analyzed success factors for lean construction-based IPD projects by analyzing prior studies to identify factors that support IPD success. Application methods were analyzed and an example of how they are actually used in the field was examined through an in-depth single case analysis. The findings of this research can be applied to support lean construction-based IPD projects in Korea, improving their efficiency and boosting owner satisfaction.
