        풍력터빈시험을 위한 실증시험장 개발에 관한 연구

        It is evident that in the wind energy business as an economic activity there is a close relationship between the wind speed and the revenues. The wind turbine test facility for wind turbine accreditation is intended to be used by the industry for testing of both main components and systems. This paper suggest the wind test site for certification of prototype wind turbine with international regulations. The test site has an environmental permit for wind turbines with a maximum hub height of 120m and a rotor diameter up to 120m, and can accommodate prototypes with installed electrical powers up to 5MW each. A wind turbine manufacturer can lease the location for a period of type certification. And also researchers are the development of new methods for measuring the influence, performance and durability of the components, a mathematical and numerical modelling of component responses by using the site.

        풍력터빈 PM형 동기발전기의 와전류손실과 열 해석에 관한 연구

        In this paper, eddy current loss, iron loss and heat transfer of PMSG with 2,000kW capacities were analyzed for wind turbine. The PMSG with 3 split magnet was analyzed using ansoft maxwell commercial program and, generator was tested by Back to Back converter with no load condition at laboratory. Rotor surface temperature was measured by Pt100 sensors for investigating heat transfer from rotor to atmosphere. The simulation results shows 27.4㎾ eddy current loss in no load condition and 50.2㎾ eddy current loss in rated load condition with 3 split magnet, and also shows 4.3㎾ iron loss in no load condition and 7.3kW iron loss rated load condition. The heat transfer coefficient of convection between rotor surface and atmosphere was investigated by 9.6 W/㎡·K. Therefore the heat transfer from rotor to atmosphere was about 17㎾(54%) and from rotor to air-gap was about 14.6㎾(46%) in no load condition. It is identified that the cooling system for stator have to include the 46% of iron loss, and heat dissipation structure of rotor surface have to be suggested and designed for efficiency improvement of generator.

        독립형 태양광 발전소의 연 축전지 모니터링장치 개발

        Use of the PV(photovoltaic) generation system is increased in such areas as remote mountain places or islands at which electrical energy is not serviced. The stand alone PV system is required the power storage products such as battery, fly wheel and super capacitor. Several lead storage batteries are connected in series to get high voltages. The life of lead storage battery is shortened when over charge or over discharge takes place. So, it is needed to control batteries not to be overcharged or be discharged deeply. Voltage of each battery was ignored in former control methods in which overall voltage was used to control charge or discharge battery. In this study, the charging and discharging voltage variations of sealed lead storage batteries with 12V/1.2A were investigated step by step experiments. The results of the test, show that, one should consider and specify the state of each battery to prevent overcharge or deep discharge. With the basis of the experiments, we designed a monitoring unit to monitor battery voltages simultaneously using micro-controller. The unit measures voltage of 20 batteries simultaneously and displays data on the color LCD monitor with curved line graph. It also sends data to PC using the RS232C communication port. The designed unit was adapted to stand alone PV system with 1㎾ capacity and lead storage batteries are connected to the PV generation system. The number of lead storage batteries was 10 in series and 12V/250Ah each. Resistive load with 3㎾ was used for discharging.

      • 154kV 변전소의 전자계 및 유도전압 계산에 관한 연구

        This paper is to analyse electromagnetic fields on a 154kV substation system and induced voltages on the substation fence when the network is operating in a normal condition or a fault condition in which one phase is shorted with the ground wire using HIFREQ software. Also, the changing trend of scalar potential and electromagnetic fields that are changed in accordance with the value of resistivity and relative permeability of ground are showed and discussed. A finding of the study is that the scalar potential and electro-magnetic fields are raised near the tower, and the values of electric field on the comer of substation fence and at the edge of the ground grid are higher than other locations. And the trends of electric fields under normal condition and fault condition are similar to each other, the trends of magnetic fields are showed the peak value at the inflow point of current. The induced currents of substation fence have the peak value at the bottom outside of transmission line under normal condition and at the bottom of fault line under fault condition.

        New eigen-sensitivity theories of the augmented matrix are applied to small signal stability analysis of EPRI one-machine infinite-bus system and New England 10-machine 39-bus test system. First and second order eigenvalue sensitivities are computed for changes of the parameters of line reactance and controllers including exciter, turbine/governor and PSS. It is found in many cases that since eigenvalue trajectories for parameter changes are nonlinear and first order estimate is not adequate for relatively large variation in parameters. Hence second order estimate is essential to guarantee accuracy for wide range of parameter changes.
