OECD 국가 중 자살률 1위라는 불명예와 함께 우리나라의 자살 관련 연구는 크게 증가하였다. 그 중 청소년과 노인을 대상으로 하는 자살 원인과 특성 그리고 예방법 등에 대한 연구는 많은 연구자들에 의해 매우 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 이에 반해 성인 특히 청년층(2 30대)의 자살 관련 연구는 청년층의 자살 증가 추세와 그 파급효과를 고려했을 때 매우 미약한 수준이라고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자원자 표본을 대상으로 이루어진 2009년 인터넷 사회조사의 결과를 바탕으로 청년층의 자살충동경험과 관련된 요인을 살펴보고, 이들 요인이 자살충동경험에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. Suicide is a serious social problem in Korean and suicide-related research on adolescents and the elderly has increased. However suicide-related studies of young adults are limited despite the increased trend of youth suicide and its ripple effect. This study, examines factors associated with the suicidal ideation of young adults based on the results of the 2009 Internet Society Survey that demonstrate the impact of suicide.
Futurebus+를 공유버스로 하는 다중프로세서 시스템의 버스 시뮬레이터 설계

In this paper, we design the simulation environment for evaluating the performance of multiprocessor systems using Futurebus+ as shared bus with various configurations. To evaluate our design of bus simulator, parallel work loads, multiple threads, are generated from single-thread codes trace on the benchmarks: rsa, sieve and 15×15 matrix. Some of the results from the simulation on the benchmarks is presented by graphic user interface. Typical results include the analysis on cache hit ratio, processor utilization and bus congestion ratio according to changes of the number of processor and cache coherency protocol. From the analysis we prove the processor utilization and the bus congestion ratio are greatly depend on cache hit ratio and write-broadcast protocol is more effective than write-invalidate protocols. The simulation environment with the basis of Futurebus+ would be used to evaluate the system performance of shared memory multiple processors.
PC 기반의 플랫폼간의 상호 연동을 위한 Intelligent Mirroring

Creating collaborative environment on heterogeneous PC-based multimedia platforms running on different operationg systems has been of great importance to allow natural interaction among remote users through interoperability. Intelligent Mirroring is incorporated into our Multimedia Distance Learning System for IBM PCs and Apple's Power Macintoshs running Windows (ver. 3.1, ver. 95) and System (ver. 7.1, ver. 7.5), respectively. Upon messages from platforms via Ethernet involved the distance learning situation, Intelligent Mirroring its functions based on system homogeniety: liasion of messages for homogeneous platforms, interpretation of events and conversion of data encoding formats for heterogeneous platforms involved in the interaction. In such a distance learning situation requiring high degree of interaction Intelligent Mirroring contributes not only to establishing function and content sharing at a fine grain level with low cost, but also to minimize traffics related to interpretation of events to be shared by platforms participating in the collaboration.
