This paper describes an study electric injection system for diesel engines. It is needed effective fuel injection which controls the solenoid valve of fuel pump. To solve this, this paper proposes DCC-PWM method which can realize fast reply and low holding current for solenoid valve on/off. For the proposed design method, simulation tools of ACSL are used to analyze the system. And the single-chip microcomputer is used to reduce the size of controller and to improve flexibility. And the system's validity can be verified through the experimental results.

To meet the world-wide emission regulation after 2.000years. the most important requirements for the injection system are high injection pressure independent of fuel quantity and engine speed, high accuracy of injected fuel quantity, flexible injection timing control, full electronic control. Electronic controlled Common Rail Injection System can only satisfies the above expectations. ECU(Electronic Control Unit) is necessary to meet the performance of injection system. Therefore this paper describes the hardware of ECU and development of control logic for Common Rail Injection System by using 16bit one-chip microprocessor.<br/>
