Lung cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers and it has the highest mortality of all forms of cancers. Although surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy are routinely used for the treatment of lung cancer treatment, little progress has been made in the treatment of this condition over the past 20 years. The histological subtype of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) accounts for approximately 30% of all lung cancer patients. Spontaneous regression of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCL) is an extremely rare phenomenon. Spontaneous regression of cancer (SR) is defined as a complete or partial, temporary or permanent disappearance of all or at least some the relevant parameters of soundly diagnosed malignant disease without any medical treatment or with treatment that is considered inadequate to produce the resulting regression.

李泰雄 釜山工業大學校 1984 論文集 Vol.26 No.-

Gil-Joon Yu(1856-1914)was born at kiey-dong, Seoul as the second son to Jin-Soo Yu. As a boy he was given the conventional education by his father, who sent him to Hyu-Soo Park for further study at his age of seventeen. Later, he went over to japan and United States of America to completer his study. he was taken into custody for seven years for no other reason than he was a member of the Kaiwha party, which might be called a sort of the Liberal Party. During the term he made complete his "Seu Yu Kyun Moon" (Things Occidental). In 1896 the removal to the Russian Embassy compelled the clllapse of the Liberal Cabinet, which exiled him in Japan for eleven years. After the exile, he dedicated himself to the social reformation until he ended his life full of vicissitudes as the age of fifty nine in 1914. To sum up his major ideas of physical education: 1. he advised the hygienic way of life, such as satisfactory food, clothing and housing and fresh water to drink. 2. He emphasized the regular life. 3. He established the view of games and recreation to the effect that all work and no play makes a man dull and unhealthy, and that games are instinctive activities. 4. he put a high value on the necessity of reforming living and on the importance of sanitary facilities. 5. A strong emphasis was laid on the importance of exercise without which one would have weak bodies leading to various deseases. He classified exercises and explained their effects. Thus, Gil-Joon Yu contribute not only to the improvement of exercises, games and recreation with the firsthand knowledge about the progressive and scientific way of wastern life, but also to the illumination of the Korean people in those years in the way a redical change would be made for the reformation of their unscientific idea of hygienics and for the betterment of their way of life, sanitation and environments.

      • 日帝時代 韓國蹴球에 관한 硏究

이태웅 釜慶大學校 2001 釜慶大學校 論文集 Vol.6 No.-

This article is mainly concerned with the development of Korean soccer during the Japanese occupation of Korea. During the occupation, Japan imposed firm restrictions, especially on sports and meetings that attracted large gatherings of Korean people. As a result of the nationwide demonstration of Korean people on March 1st, 1919, the Japanese government converted all athletic events into the so-called 'Cultural Policy' and created the Chosun Athletics Association on July 13, 1920. The creation of the association popularized sporting activities and also led to the formation of sports teams, including soccer clubs. 1. By playing nationwide soccer games such as the Chosun soccer Mach, Kyong- Pyong soccer Match, inter-provincial matches and middle school soccer games, the players rained and improved. 2. Students who had studied abroad returned to Korea and upgraded Chosun soccer. 3. By playing games overseas, the Korean teams were able to participate in international soccer games and overseas exposure also gave Korean teams the opportunity to observe international techniques. Furthermore, international teams were invited to Korea, thus providing Korean teams with the opportunity to demonstrate the superiority of Korea soccer. When the Kyongsung Soccer Team won the championship in selective matches for the Berlin Olympic Games, the Japanese rulers excluded Koreans, intending the unification of Japan and Korea. Finally they forced young Koreans into the army to prepare for World Ⅱ. Eventually, Japan imposed a sporting ban, thus robbing Koreans of their only remaining freedom and causing the darkest era in Korean sporting history.
