This study presents a novel dynamic mode Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) where the deflection signal is directly used for force regulation instead of its amplitude or phase. Cantilever mock system without the interaction with cantilever is composed and included in the control algorithm. The control synthesis problem is posed in a robust optimal control and multi-objective LMI framework. A method to estimate the interaction force and extract the sample topography from it is also presented. This method can be efficient in high speed AFMs where the scanning bandwidths are more than 10% of the natural frequency of the cantilevers, therefore make possible to high speed imaging without compromising on the bandwidth and resolution.

The objective of this study is to analyze steering feel performance of vehicle considering hydraulic characteristics of steering system. Through detail modeling of each hydraulic system, it is possible to simulate steering torque precisely. Thus, steering feel performance can be evaluated and the accuracy of simulation can be improved.
