        중심성 분석을 이용한 2018년 판보로 국제 에어쇼 참가업체 기술동향 분석

        본 연구에서는 전 세계 3대 에어쇼 중의 하나인 “FIA(Farnborough International Airshow, 판보로 국제 에어쇼)”의 참여기관/업체를 대상으로 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 항공우주분야 기술동향을 분석하였다. 판보로 국제 에어쇼는 전 세계 주요 항공관련 민간 및 방산 업체와 각국 정부 및 군 관계자가 참여하여 항공우주산업분야에 대한 최신 기술을 선보이는 중요한 행사로서, 2018 FIA에서는 총 112개 국가에서 1,500여 업체(기관)가 참여하였다. 본 연구에서는, 항공우주분야 기술관련 45개 국가, 1,108개 업체를 대상으로 223개의 기술 분류 카테고리를 통해 네트워크 분석 중 하나인 키워드 기반의 중심성 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과, 전 세계적 우주항공 분야의 핵심기술은 "Machining"으로 조사되었다. 하지만 지역(국가) 별로 분류되는 핵심기술은 다소 다른 경향을 보여주고 있었는데, 유럽(EU)과 영국의 경우 “Machining", 아시아의 경우 ”Aircraft Components", 미국의 경우 “Engine Components/controls"가 식별되었다. 우리나라의 경우에는 관련 기관/업체 수의 부족으로 뚜렷한 중심 기술이 식별되지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과가 우주항공분야 기술기획 및 연구 방향성 제시를 위한 참고자료로서 활용 될 수 있으며, 또한 국내 관련 업체의 수출 진흥을 위한 국외 주요 기술 분야를 제시하는데 유용하게 활용되리라 기대한다. The purpose of this research was to introduce a network analysis method for analyzing technology trends in the aerospace industry at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), one of the world"s three major airshows. Civil and defense companies and government and military officials from 112 countries and 1,500 agencies convened at FIA 2018 to share and explore recent trends in the aerospace industry. We studied aerospace technologies from 45 countries, 1,108 exhibiters, and 223 technology categories via centrality analysis. The results from the network analysis showed that machining is the center of aerospace technology. However, there were quite different tendencies, depending on the region and country. The centers of aerospace technology are machining in Europe and the United Kingdom, aircraft components in Asia, and engine components/controls in the United States. In Korea, no one key technology was recognized, due to the country"s small attendance. We hope this research will be conducive to aerospace technology-and-research planning, and that it will be an appropriate tool to help domestic manufacturers boost their exports.

      • 계층적 구조를 이용한 적응형 변환 파라미터 추정

        Object oriented coding employs a mapping parameter technique for estimating motion information in each object. Employing gradient operators, the mapping parameter technique requires high computational complexity. The main objective of this paper is to develop a adaptive mapping parameter estimation using the proposed hierarchical structure. The adaptive mapping parameter estimation uses the moving criterion that measures the amount of movement based on temporal co-occurrence matrices for estimating the mapping parameter adaptively. Theoretical analysis and computer simulation show that the peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR) reconstructed by the proposed methods lies between those reconstructed by the conventional 6- and 8-parameter estimation methods with greatly reduced computational complexity.

        Variety of application services on desk-top PCs induces the high-speed traffic in LAN and demands on the higher speed over conventional 10/100 Mbps Ethernet with reserving the backward compatibility introduce the Gigabit Ethernet technology. The major benefit of the Gigabit Ethernet is that LAN can migrate smoothly from low-speed network to Gigabit network. Even more Gigabit Ethernet is a cheaper solution compared to ATM, which was be considered only one next generation substitute for FDDI backbone. The major goals of this paper are to reseach the fundamantal elements of Gigabit Ethernet technology and to design and implement the router software for the Gigabit Ethernet Switch system

      • ATM망에서의 2계층 영상부호화 방법 비교

        The channel sharing effieciency in cell-loss conditions is important during the transmission of video signals over asynchronous transfer mode networks. Two-layer video coding minimizes the image quality degradation under the cell-loss conditions in ATM networks. Several possible approaches using two-layer video coding methods have been proposed, in which video information is transmitted over the network with different levels of protection with respect to cell loss. This paper investigates several two-layer video coding methods such as Ghanbari's method, Kishino et al.'s method, image coding methods using subband decomposition/synthesis, wavelet transform, and pyramid image structure., in which several realizations are presented and their performance comparison is shown.

      • UADSL 라우터에서의 라우팅 소프트웨어의 설계 및 구현

        Since 1999, the ADSL services have been deployed for high-speed Internet connectivity at an acceptable cost for consumers and businesses, video services, and interworking of user networks and access networks in Korea but due to the implementation, maintenance, and costof splitters in ADSL have been required to be upgraded by advanced technologies. At the moment the new UADSL technology is being introduced as an international standard and will be deployed to actually prove popular with Internet users. As home-made gateways for UADSL, these UADSL/ADSL routers at home or SOHO connect Internet more cost-efficiently and support interworking of user networks and PSTN. An UADSL router system and routing software for it were developed last year. The system will be contributing to fit the better performance and connectivity of HomeGateway. With good performance it transports signals of maximum 8 Mbps to the distance of over 5 ㎞ by was of PSTN and as a result enable users to access Internet over hundred times faster than by now used router.

      • 초고속 회의형 멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 위한 다지점 접속 제어 시스템 개발

        The videoconferencing service is an audiovisual conversational teleconferencing service providing bidirectional real-time transfer of voice and moving color pictures between groups of users in two or more separate locations. Multipoint contro unit (MCU) is a system which enables more than two teleconferencing terminals to be interconnected. The purpose of the MCU is to permit the transmission of an audiovisual signal and supplementary information between a number of separate audiographic conference terminals. This paper describes experimental MCU in asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) networks which is currently being developed in Korea.

      • B-ISDN에서의 효율적인 비디오 트래픽 모델링

        B-ISDN (Broadband ISDN) can be easily congested because bandwidth requirement of VBR video traffic is not fixed. When B-ISDN are congested, cells can be lost. So investigation of the reliable computation method of required bandwidth of each terminal. To compute the required bandwidth of each terminal, research of video traffic model is needed. In this paper, autoregressive(AR) model, Markov modulated deterministic process (MMDP) model, transfer expand sample (TES) model, and Markov modulated Bernoulli process (MMBP) model which are adequate for video traffic modeling are investigated. They are experimented and compared with computer simulation results. These results can be used for development of traffic control of B-ISDN.
