환경조건에 따른 유류저장탱크 화재의 복사열 영향 평가 연구

본 연구에서는 휘발유가 저장되어 있는 탱크의 화재폭발로 인해 인적 및 재산피해의 규모 사례를 통해 화재 위험성을 확인하고, 인접탱크에 미치는 복사열 영향을 평가하여 안전이 확보되는데 필요한 보유공지를 제시하고자 한다. 경기북부지역의 환경조건(풍속, 기온)에 따른 유류저장탱크 화재 시 방출되는 복사열(최대 방출량)이 인접탱크에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해 시뮬레이션을 적용하였다. 연구결과, 유류저장탱크 화재 시 방출되는 복사열은 최대풍속에 의해 약 1.9배 증가하고 최대기온에 의해 약 700∼800 kW 범위에서 차이가 발생되는 것을 확인하였고, 시설 중 직경 28.4 m, 높이 8.5 m의 유류저장탱크 화재 시 약 34.4 m의 보유공지 확보가 필요하다. 향후 다양한 환경조건을 적용하여 휘발유 저장탱크 화재로 인해 방출되는 복사열을 평가하고 이를 통해 구체적이고 정량적인 보유공지 확보에 대한 추가연구가 요구된다. In this paper, the risk of damages to humans and properties due to fire explosions in gasoline storage tanks is identified, and the effects of radiant heat on adjacent tanks are evaluated to present the necessary area to secure safety. A simulation was conducted to evaluate the effect of radiant heat (Maximum emission) on adjacent tanks in an oil storage tank fire due to environmental conditions (Wind speed and temperature) in the Northern Gyeonggi Province. The result indicated that the radiant heat released in the fire of an oil storage tank was increased by approximately 1.9 times by the maximum wind speed and the difference occurred in the range of 700~800 kW by the maximum temperature. If a storage tank fire occurs, securing approximately 34.4 m of holding area is necessary. In the future, evaluating the radiant heat emitted by the fire of gasoline storage tanks will be required by applying various environmental conditions, and through this, research on specific and quantitative holding area is required.
