Objectives: This study is a report of the clinical application of traditional Korean medicine on ataxia with cerebellar atrophy. Methods: The ataxia in this case occurred 5 years ago. The symptoms had been getting worse until the patient came to hospital. The MRI of this patient showed atrophy of the cerebellum. We measured the state of this case with the Korean version of the Berg Balance Scale (K-BBS), before and after treatment and Numeric Rating Scale-11 (NRS-11) of the symptoms, every week. We treated the case with traditional Korean medicine such as acupuncture and Gamiyukmijihwang-tang. Results: After treatment, the score of K-BBS increased, while the score of NRS-11 decreased. Conclusions: According to this study, traditional Korean medicine is effective for controlling ataxia caused by cerebellar atrophy.

물가변동제도 운영방식 개선방안

공공건설공사의 계약금액조정사유로서 물가변동제도는 1969년 시설공사계약일반조건으로 처음 도입되었다. 조정요건은 계약일로부터 90일 경과 및 입찰일로부터 등락률 3%이상을 동시에 충족하여야 하는데 이 때 적용하는 등락률 산정방식은 품목조정과 지수조정의 단 두 가지뿐이다. 4개 공공기관의 163개 사업장을 조사한 결과 모두 지수조정방식을 적용하고 있었고, 조정기준일부터 계약금액조정 승인일까지 6개월을 초과하는 사업장이 전체의 90%를 상회하였다. 계약금액조정까지의 장기간 소요는 복잡한 등락률 산정방식이 주원인이므로 이를 다양화하여 시공자의 선택권을 확보하는 것이 필요하다. 현행 발표되는 한국은행의 생산자/소비자물가지수의 평균지수, 건설공사비지수에 대한 보정계수를 적용하는 방식을 추가한다면 별도의 추가비용 없이도 다양화를 만족시켜 조정신청지연을 최소화할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 물가변동으로 인한 계약금액조정을 신속하고 효율적으로 이행할 수 있도록 물가변동률 산정방식의 다양화와 시공자의 선택권 확장 등의 물가변동제도 운영방식 개선방안을 제시하였다. There are several causes to recalculate the contract amount in public construction projects. Among them, the escalation clause was introduced in 1969 and now the condition to recalculate the cost is effective after 90 days from the date of contract and the rate of fluctuation should be more than 3% from the date of bidding. The two calculation methods for the rate of fluctuation are item-adjustment and index-adjustment. According to the results of investigation into 4 public institutions and 163 projects, all of them have used the method of index-adjustment and the rate of projects that spend over 6 months obtaining the approval of contract amount adjustment is more than 90%. The reason for spending lots of time is caused by problems of the calculation method on the price fluctuation rate. Therefore, it is necessary that the calculation method should be diversified to cope with the problems and a option of the builder should be expanded as well. Furthermore, if the way to apply correction factors to construction price index and average index based on the producer and consumer price index made by the bank of Korea is added, then the duration will be reduced without additional expenses. This study proposed the diversification of the calculation method using price fluctuation rate and builders' expanded options as improvement on the managerial method of Price Fluctuation System for the prompt and efficient contract amount adjustment.

Triazolopyrimidine계 저해제와 보리 Acetolactate Synthase와의 상호작용

Acetolactate synthase(ALS)는 박테리아, yeast, 그리고 고등 식물에서 가지를 가진 아미노산 Val, Leu, Ile의 생합성에 공통적으로 관여하는 필수적인 효소이다. 최근에 개발된 sulfonylurea, imidazolinone, triazolopyrimidine, 그리고 pyrimidyl-oxy-benzoate계 제초제들은 구조적으로 상호 유사성이 없음에도 불구하고 모두 ALS를 작용 표적으로 한다. Triazolopyrimidine(TP)계의 새로운 유도체들을 합성하여 보리의 ALS에 대해 저해활성을 측정하였다. 활성을 나타낸 저해제들의 $IC_{50}값은 3.2nM-0.62mM로 몇 개의 유도체는 뛰어난 활성을 보였다. 보리 ALS에 대해 triazolopyrimidine 유도체 TP4의 저해활성은 반응 시간이 증가함에 따라 증가하였고, 혼합형 저해유형을 보여주었다. TP4와 imidazolinone 제초제인 Cadre, 그리고 feedback 저해제인 Leu에 대한 dual inhibition 실험 결과 모두 평행한 kinetic pattern이 얻어져 이들 저해제의 결합 부위가 최소한 부분적으로 중복되는 부분이 있음을 시사했다. ALS의 Tyr의 변형은 TP4에 의한 저해 효과를 감소시키는 반면 Trp과 Cys 변형은 TP4의 결합에 영향을 나타내지 않았다. Acetolactate synthase (ALS) is the common enzyme in the biosynthesis of branched chain amino acids, Val, Leu, and Ile in bacteria, yeast, and higher plants. The enzyme is target site of several classes of structually diverse herbicides, including the sulfonylureas, the imidazolinones, the triazolopyrimidines, and the primidyl-oxy-benzoates. We have synthesized new triazolopyrimidine (TP) derivatives, and determined their inhibitory activities on barley ALS. $lC_{50}$ values for the active compounds were 3.2 nM-0.62 mM, and some of them appeared to be potent inhibitors. The progress curves for inhibition of ALS by TP4, a representative derivative, indicated that the extent of inhibition increased with incubation time. The inhibition of ALS by TP4 showed mixed-type inhibition with respect to pyruvate. Dual inhibition analyses of TP4 versus imidazolinone Cadre and feedback inhibitor Leu suggested that three different classes of inhibitors bind to ALS in a mutually exclusive manner. Chemical modification of tyrosyl residues of ALS decreased sensitivity of ALS to TP4, while modification of tryptophan and cysteine did not affect the sensitivity.

국내공공공사의 잠정금액(Provisional Sum) 집행기준

최근 국내 공공건설사업에 Provisional Sum(이하 PS)이라는 단어를 잠정공사비 또는 미확정설계공종이라 번역하여 적용하고 있으나 PS에 대한 정의 및 집행주체, 정산방법 등에 대한 기준이 계약조항이나 관련법규에서 규정되지 않은 채 적용되고 있어 분쟁이 발생될 가능성이 높다. 본 연구에서는 국내에서 논란이 되고 있는 PS의 정의 및 업무범위, 정산방법 등에 대한 명확하고 설득력 있는 자료 및 사례를 제시함으로써 PS의 집행기준을 제안하고자 하였다. 제안된 집행기준의 도출과정에서 관련법규 및 유권해석 내용과의 부합성을 제시하고 해외공사에서 적용된 사례와의 비교 검토를 통하여 본 기준이 합리적인 해석과 처리방법임을 제시하였다. 연구결과 PS 항목의 집행주체는 발주자이나 별도 발주는 가능치 않으며, PS 항목은 수량과 단가를 모두 정산할 수 있으며, 순공사비에 포함되는 PS 항목에 대해서는 간접비의 적용이 가능하나 물가변동(에스컬레이션)은 적용되지 않는 것이 합리적임을 알 수 있었다. Recently, the term 'Provisional Sum(PS)' has been used in domestic public construction projects especially for civil works. Nevertheless, the guideline for PS has not been clearly stipulated in contract documents or construction-related laws. Due to these ambiguous contract situations, disputes between owners and contractors are surely expected to settle down PS in construction projects. This paper focused on suggesting a guideline to settle down PS in these ambiguous contract situations. The guideline suggested in the paper is expected to be used as a reasonable method to settle down PS avoiding nonproductive disputes about PS in construction projects

한양방 병행치료로 호전된 당뇨병성 족부감염 환자 증례보고

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the clinical application of acupuncture, herbal medication, and antibiotic treatment to a patient with a diabetic foot infection. Methods: We treated the patient-who had ulcerations of the 1st, 2nd, and 4th toes and osteomyelitis on the right 1st and 2nd toes-with acupuncture, herbal medication, and antibiotics. We measured the state of this case by changes in his MRI signal and ulceration of his toes. Results: After treatment, the MRI signal indicated that the osteomyelitis had disappeared and the ulceration was diminished. Conclusions: A combination of acupuncture, herbal medication, and antibiotic treatment is effective for treatment of ulceration and osteomyelitis caused by diabetic foot infection.

동맥경화증으로 인한 보행장애 증례 보고

Object : The Purpose of this study is to report the clinical application of Korean traditional medicine on gait disturbance with arteriosclerosis of lower limbs. Methods : The patient in this case had been already treated by anticoagulation and varicose vein operation for subsiding and improving intermittent claduication and rest pain, but these methods didn't work on the patient. Although the patient was classified as TASC-II D, bypass operation couldn't be treated because of heart disease of the patient. We treated Korean traditional medicine such as acupuncture, moxibustion, Danggwisaeyeoktang. Results : After treatment, peak walking time was increased, rest pain occurrence was decreased and going up and down the stairs was improved. Conclusions : According to this study, Korean traditional medicine such as acupuncture, moxibustion, Danggwisaeyeoktang is effective for the cure of intermittent claudication and rest pain caused by arteriosclerosis of lower limbs.

비내진 상세를 갖는 금속마감패널 천장시스템의 진동대 실험을 통한 내진성능평가

In Korea, the seismic design of non-structural elements was interested by Earthquake of the 2016 Gyeong-ju and 2017 Po-hang. Among the non-structural elements, the ceiling system with steel panel used in Po-hang station showed failure examples of non-seismic design ceiling. In this study, the seismic performance of suspended ceiling with steel-panel, such as those used in Po-hang Station, was evaluated by shaking table tests. The shaking table tests were performed in accordance with the ICC-ES AC156 standard with floor acceleration being applied horizontally in one direction using a 3.3 × 3.3 m² frame. The ceiling system consists of steel-panels, carrying channels, main and cross T-bars, and anti-falling clips. The anti-falling clip prevents the steel panel falling completely. The shaking table test confirmed that the damage at the previous stage had a direct impact on the damage state at the next stage. Through the shaking table test, the damage state of the T-bar type steel-panel suspended ceiling system was defined.

농촌관광지원제도의 지원요인에 관한 연구

The purpose of this research analyzes present condition of rural tourism, it is considering reasonable support factor. To achieve the purpose of research. theories on concepts of rural tourism and rural tourism business, and each supporting part for rural tourism business are studied At twelve cities and counties belonging to the first revitalization area at Kangwondo, survey on the present condition for the villages which rural tourism business is in operative was done. Based on the result from survey and preceeding research, a research model is established By analyzing pre-survey of experts' opinion and problems of rural tourism business. supporting system of rural tourism business is divided into 4 parts, which are human supporting part, administration supporting part. financial supporting part, receptive supporting part. As a result of this study, the following support factor are suggested First, administration support part of importance is high in support system. Second, all support system factor of details factor influence in rural tourism.
