The purpose this study was to examine working women``s ways of managing their hair style by occupation and the changes of their psychological and physical stress by satisfaction with appearance in an effort to improve working women``s hair style, which is the biggest part of appearance, and their overall satisfaction with appearance. And it``s found that satisfaction level with appearance exerted a huge influence on mental and physical stress. Given the findings of the study, the development of an educational program that aims at teaching how to make up for working women``s shortcoming and play up their strength is expected to help these women to have less stress about their appearance and image, to ensure their psychological wellbeing and ultimately to elevate the efficiency of their job performance and work life. Just the group of working women was investigated in this study, and it seems necessary to research the appearance management of working men and to develop separate educational programs respectively geared toward working men and women who seem to be different from each other in appearance and appearance management.

A simple synthesis of the furanoid sesquiterpene, dendrolasin is described. The synthesis of dendrolasin formally consists of the coupling of geranyl bromide with 3-furylmethylmagnesium chloride.
피부미용사의 근무환경, 스트레스, 직업만족도 생활만족도에 관한 구조모델

Objectives: This study was conducted to improve occupational confidence and life quality of skin care experts based on analyses of level that influence satisfaction with working environment, stress, occupation satisfaction, and life satisfaction of skin care experts and identification of causal relationships among satisfaction with working environment, stress, occupation satisfaction, and life satisfaction. Methods: 370 skin care experts in the country, aged 20 or older, were subjects of this study. 19 samples were excluded with errors in their responses or many non-responses and hence, 351 samples were analyzed. Results: 1. Those aged 40 or older were 36.3% while those who don`t have a spouse were 56.6%. As for forms of living with other people, those who lived with parents or brothers/sisters were 38.9%. University graduates were 62.7% and 83.1% lived in large cities. As for locations of their work, 36.6% worked in the center of cities. 42.4% worked with one or two employees. 25.5% worked for 5-10 years while 37.5% were managers/CEOs. 34.2% chose this area as it was a ``professional`` job. 32.2% worked for 9 hours, the longest working hours. 2. The average marks obtained of working environment was 3.54 points in 5 perfect score. Whole average marks obtained of the stress was 2.34 points and it followed in subordinate item the other side the sleep is highest with 2.62 points the health which stands and gloom is lowest 1.96 points. Occupational satisfaction whole average marks obtained it followed in the subordinate item to be 3.45 points the autonomous characteristic which stands was highest with 3.59 points and the remuneration was lowest with 3.02 points. Life satisfaction were 3.72 points in 5 perfect score. 3. Based on the results from covariance structure analyses of working environment, occupation satisfaction, and life satisfaction, better working environment related to lcovrom coy whilc better working environment and lcovrom cov related to occupation satisfaction. In addition, better working environment, lcovrom coy, and higher occupation satisfaction related to higher life satisfaction. Conclusions: In Korea, the number of women entering into professional job areas is increasing and the improved level of economy has increased the needs for our aesthetic pursuit. This helped skin care experts to solidify their position as professionals and the area is growing while the number of people working in the area is rapidly increasing. However, unlike other people, skin care experts may find themselves becoming unhealthy due to their irregular lifestyle coming from excessive working hours and workload and lack of exercise. Also stress is lowering their occupation satisfaction and life satisfaction. Hence, managers/CEOs shall be able to care about and invest more in salaries, working hours, benefits, and working environment of skin care experts and a management system to increase occupation satisfaction shall be arranged based on systemic career management programs and improvement of working environment. In addition, education programs and management systems shall be arranged to improve work abilities of beauty artists, enhance their will to work based on positive communication between managers and employees, and increase occupation satisfaction, Furthermore, there should be mediation to enhance the status of skin care experts and to relieve stress while a system to improve life quality seems necessary.
