다중 대역 이동 통신 단말기용 내장형 루프 안테나 설계

본 논문에서는 4중 대역 이동 통신 단말기에서 사용할 수 있는 내장형 안테나를 설계, 제작하였다. 안테나의 동작 주파수 대역은 GSM(880 MHz${\~}$960 MHz), GPS(1,575 MHz$\pm$10 MHz), DCS(1,710 MHz${\~}$l,880 MHz) 그리고 US-PCS(1,850 MHz${\~}$l,990 MHz) 등을 포함한다. 제안된 안테나는 하나의 급전과 단락 그리고 접혀진 루프 형태의 방사체로 구성되어 있으며 루프형 방사체에 형성되는 기본 모드와 고차 모드들을 이용하여 다중 대역 특성을 만들었다. 안테나에서는 모드별 공진 주파수 조절을 위해 방사체의 특정 부분에 전류 분포 분석을 바탕으로 각기 다른 크기의 슬롯을 삽입하였고, 전방향성 방사 패턴 특성을 위해 방사체의 구조를 좌우 대칭형의 접혀진 루프 형태로 설계하여 방사체에 대칭적인 에너지 분포를 가지게 하였다. 제안된 안테나는 대역폭 향상을 위해 안테나의 아랫부분의 접지면을 제거하였으며 제작된 안테나의 측정된 임피던스 대역폭은 GSM 대역에서 정재파비 2.5 : 1 기준으로 $10.1\%$이고, GPS 대역 및 DCS/US-PCS 대역에서 정재파비 2.5 : 1 기준으로 $26.8\%$이다. 안테나의 수평면 방사 패턴 최대 이득은 전 대역에서 -0.37 dBi${\~}$2.55 dBi로 측정되었다. In this paper, the quad-band antenna for mobile handsets is proposed and developed. The operating frequency bands include GSM(880 MHz${\~}$960 MHz), GPS(1,575 MHz$\pm$10 MHz), DCS(1,710 MHz${\~}$l,880MHz), and PCS(1,850 MHz${\~}$l,990 MHz). The proposed antenna consists of a feed line, a shorting post, and a radiating element of the feed loop. The multi-band operation is achieved by using the fundamental and higher resonant modes of the radiating element. Based on analysis of the current distribution on the radiator, the resonant frequency of each mode can be adjusted by adding the different sizes of slots on the radiator. The radiator of the feed loop is designed to be symmetrical so that the energy is symmetrically distributed on the radiator, which results in omni-directional radiation pattern. The ground plane under the radiator is removed in order to improve the bandwidth. The measured impedance bandwidths are $10.1\%$ in GSM band(VSWR<2.5), $26.8\%$ in GPS band, and DCS/US-PCS bands(VSWR<2.5), respectively. The maximum gains on the H-plane of the fabricated antenna are measured about -0.37 dBi${\~}$2.55 dBi for all operating frequency bands.

LYNX ESM has not only ESM function but Datalink function. The LYNX boarded equipment Interface and Channel coding is needed for LYNX Datalink to support the mother ship with tactical data included threat radar analysis data of LYNX ESM, navigation data, Radar and Sonar of LYNX. The interface of loaded equipments are various protocol like as ARINC419/429, RS232, Synchro, Sync Serial. The Channel coding of Convolution-Scrambler-Interleaver-Bit Stuffing is applied for recovering the transmission data mixed with propagation errors in sea environment.

SAR has pulse compression gain through the process including range and azimuth. Efficient jammers against the SAR with simulated elements are evaluated in the view of power and SAR image. In this paper, J/S is analysed for SAR with RF propagation equation firstly. Several jamming signals on SAR signal are made into SAR image through pulse compression process. Objective jamming performance is evaluated using euclidean distance.

An Estimation of VHF datalink range for EW(Electronic Warfare) equipment in the sea environment was studied to predict the datalink range between transmitting and receiving station. We consider refraction and reflection in addition to the basic radar equation. The reflection especially includes propagation factor in case of spherical earth as well as flat earth. The estimation result can predict the real datalink range within 5% error.

An Estimation of VHF data link range for EW(Electronic Warfare) equipment in the sea environment was studied to predict the data link range between transmitting and receiving station. The theoretical estimation predicts within 3% error with actual measurement of VHF data link range at sea. Data link range factors including refraction and reflection are added in the basic wave propagation equation. The effect of refraction and reflection to the range is analysed with quantity level.

LYNX ESM system operates digital receiver for analyzing radar of intrapulse modulation signal. This paper contains DC offset compensation method of IQ channels, imbalancing comensation method of amplitude and phase, precisional PW measurement using adaptive threshold set, analyzing algorithm of intrapulse modulation signals. Its effectiveness was proven by technical and operational test.

This paper analyzed the J/S of the GPS receiver in sea environment from GPS satellite and GPS jammer. Through the analysis, the operational range and effective radiation power of the GPS jammer could be estimated. In the case of the jammer effective radiation power is higher than the specific value, jammer height mainly resolves the jammer operational range.

The helicopter position, heading data and the direction finding data of ESM are essentially required to compensate the parallax and analyze the direction finding accuracy of heliborne ESM in flight test phase. In the case of the long test range compared with small platform like as LYNX helicopter and Jisim Island test site, the parallax compensation for direction finding accuracy calculation and GPS position error can be neglected. In this paper, the direction finding accuracy on the basis of helicopter propeller was calculated by coordinate changing between helicopter and transmitting antenna from WGS84 coordinate to navigation coordinate using helicopter position and direction finding data.

The GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver has long been a essential equipment for commercial and military platform systems. GPS jamming to disable these GPS receivers has also been a very serious threat for many years. It is very difficult for a system equipped with a GPS receiver to independently detect GPS jamming in real time. The GPS receiver is vulnerable to GPS jamming because the distance between the GPS receiver and the satellite is much longer than that the GPS receiver and jammer. Since the jammer signal power is much higher than the GPS satellite signal power in terms of signal power, the GPS receiver may be vulnerable to jammer even if the GPS processing gain is considered. This paper analyzes Jamming signal to satellite Signal Ratio(JSR) in GPS receiver for GPS satellite and jammer signal. In order to detect GPS jamming in real time on an independent platform through this analysis, we propose a new method consisting of commercial GPS receiver and military EGI(Embedded GPS&INS) system.
필터뱅크에 적합한 새로운 구조를 갖는 저대역 튜너블 BPF에 관한 연구

In this paper, we present a tunable BPF with a novel structure. The filter is very useful to optimization of low frequency filter performance, because the fiilter has air-coils and tuning screws. This filter also has the merits of light weight and small size in comparison with conventional tunable filter at low frequency. This type filters are especially suitable for switched filter bank due to tuning structure. We designed 4 channel filter bank with two SP4Ts and 4 BPFs using novel structure. Tuning processes were subsequently executed. We obtained satisfactory performances as a result; consequently, the validity of our proposal was proved.
