From the by-product obtained from Tungsten ore by floatation, sulfide of molybdenum was extracted. The sulfide was extracted from the nitric acid solution(1.5 equivalents of 3 M HNO) at 60℃ for 2 hours and then 1 M hydrochloric acid solution for 1 hour. The recovery of the sulfide was 73%.

The amine compounds, formed by the reaction between metallic chloride anion and cationic Amberite LA Ⅰ or LA Ⅱ(Liquid anion exchanger in hydrochloric acid), were extracted into an organic solvent in a molecular state which neutralized the negatively charged ions and the positively charged ions. The extraction ratio did not depend on the chemieal formulars of the solvents but on the dielectric constants of the solvents. It has been found that we could select the suitable solvents for the extraction by the use of the extraction curve of each solvent which varies according to the dielectric constants when we separate the ions from each other.

Authors has analysed bone mineral density(BMD) of spine and proximal femur of 55 normal male patients who visited Dankook University hospital, college of medicine from may 1994 to February 1995. The aims of the study is the investigation of correlation between BMD and age distribution and the change of the BMD. 1. The ages of maximal BMD from the 2nd lumbar spine to the 4th lumbar spine exist between 26 years old and 30 years old. The average decrease rate of BMD is 5% per 10 years from the age the maximal BMD. 2. Te BMD of the 12th thoracic spine and 1st lumbar spine is lower than that of the average BMD from the 2nd. to 4th lumbar spine. 3. The correlation cofficient of the lateral projection with anteroposterior projection is 0.632 at the 2nd lumbar spine and 0.500 at the 3rd lumbar spine. 4. The ages of maximal BMD of proximal femur exist between 21 years old and 25 years old. The average decrease rate of BMD is 7% per 10 years from the age of maximal BMD.
DJ-1 deficiency impairs synaptic vesicle endocytosis and reavailability at nerve terminals

<P>Mutations in DJ-1 (PARK7) are a known cause of early-onset autosomal recessive Parkinson's disease (PD). Accumulating evidence indicates that abnormalities of synaptic vesicle trafficking underlie the pathophysiological mechanism of PD. In the present study, we explored whether DJ-1 is involved in CNS synaptic function. DJ-1 deficiency impaired synaptic vesicle endocytosis and reavailability without inducing structural alterations in synapses. Familial mutants of DJ-1 (M26I, E64D, and L166P) were unable to rescue defective endocytosis of synaptic vesicles, whereas WT DJ-1 expression completely restored endocytic function in DJ-1 KO neurons. The defective synaptic endocytosis shown in DJ-1 KO neurons may be attributable to alterations in membrane cholesterol level. Thus, DJ-1 appears essential for synaptic vesicle endocytosis and reavailability, and impairment of this function by familial mutants of DJ-1 may be related to the pathogenesis of PD.</P>

We conducted dietary analyses of six seagrass-associated fish species inhabiting northeastern Gwangyang Bay, Korea. These six species consumed a variety of benthic invertebrates and teleosts, but their preferences for different food resources varied. Although all species consumed crustaceans, the contributions of different crustacean taxa differed among the species' diets. Caridean shrimps and crabs were a significant part of the Hexagrammos agrammus and H. otakii diets, respectively, while amphipods were consumed mainly by Sebastes inermis. Caridean shrimps and prawns were abundant within the Lateolabrax japonicas diet, but were not common prey resources for Pseudopleuronectes yokohamae or S. schlegelii. Polychaetes and ophiurids were ingested by P. yokohamae, and the former prey taxon also made moderate contributions to the diets of H. agrammus and L. japonicus. With the exception of P. yokohamae, the diets of all species included teleosts. Teleosts contributed the largest proportion of the S. schlegelii diet, followed by the S. inermis and L. japonicas diets; however, H. agrammus and H. otakii rarely consumed teleosts. Non-metric multidimensional scaling (nMDS) ordination plots and permutational analysis of variance (PERMANOVA) revealed the variation in dietary composition among species and the contributions of each prey taxon. These interspecific differences in diet increase the range of food resources available to these fishes, thereby reducing competition for resources within the fish community in this region.

<P>A new impedance transforming balun scheme is presented based on the branch line structure with stubs on the vertical branches. The stubbed vertical branch eliminates the unwanted even mode output and provides only the required balun output with opposite phase. Also, the use of stubs reduces the branch lengths by two times the stub length and therefore, helps to reduce the total size of the proposed balun</P>

<P>A new design method of single-stub impedance matching networks is presented for the dual-band application. The dual-band operating conditions are analyzed in detail and the design equations are derived in concise form for different locations and termination types of the stub line. The proposed impedance matching scheme is successfully applied to the design of a stubbed dual-band T-junction power divider. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A Dual-Band Wilkinson Power Divider
Myun-Joo Park,Byungje Lee IEEE 2008 IEEE microwave and wireless components letters Vol.18 No.2
<P>A new scheme is proposed for the dual-band operation of the Wilkinson power divider/combiner. The dual band operation is achieved by attaching two central transmission line stubs to the conventional Wilkinson divider. It has simple structure and is suitable for distributed circuit implementation.</P>
Efficient Calculation of the Green's Function for 2-D Periodic Line Sources Using Ewald Method
Myun-Joo Park,Byungje Lee IEEE 2009 IEEE antennas and wireless propagation letters Vol.8 No.-
<P>An accelerated calculation scheme is presented for the Green's function of the two-dimensional (2-D) periodic array of line sources based on the Ewald sum technique. The contour integral representation of the Hankel function and the Poisson sum formula are employed to accelerate the slowly convergent Green's function series. The resulting Green's function is expressed as the sum of an exponential series in the spatial domain and a spectral series consisting of the exponential integral functions, both with Gaussian convergence.</P>
