The fatigue characteristic study of a Pony Coil spring is perfonned by considering the tropical service conditions in the range of 50℃ through 150℃. The experiment results of the static and dynamic characteristics of the test pieces agreed with the result of the strain analysis by wittricke’s method. The strain energy vahle is increased as temperature rises. An increase is 1.58% at 100℃ and 2.26% at 150℃ after fatigue tests. The elastic strain is also decreased as temperature rises.
합금공구강의 화학적 침투처리에 관한 연구 (1) : 액체질화염욕중의 Na2SO4 및 Nacl 함량이 합금공구강 경화처리에 미치는 영향

本實驗에서는 黃血鹽 88%와 苛性소다 8.5%를 主成分으로 하여 여기에 Na₂SO₄와 NaCl의 組成을 0∼3.5% 범위로 變化添加시킨 後 이 熔融鹽에 合金工具鋼(SKD-11)을 浸潰시켜 表面硬化處理하였다. 實驗에 있어서 熔融鹽을 一定溫度 550℃에서 時間에 따른 浸透層의 깊이 變化를 測定하였다. 이때, 鹽浴의 最適條件인 組成 Na₂SO₄ 2.0%와 NaCl 1.5%에서 90分동안 處理하여 浸透層 深度 111μ, 表面硬度 Hv 620에 達하였다. A method of case hardening treatment on the alloy tool steel (SKD-11) have been studied by using molten salt bath composed of K₄Fe(CN)_6, NaOH, Na₂SO₄ and NaCl where the weight ratio of major two compounds was fixed to 88 : 8.5 but those of Na₂SO₄ and NaCl were varied in the range of 0-3.5%. The experiments were conducted in the molten salts at 550℃ for various periods of time and different salt compositions have lead to the following: The significance in the weight ratio of Na₂SO₄ is recognized considerably and the optimum condition of treatment is obtainable when Na₂SO₄ content in the bath is as much as 2.0% and soaking for 90 minutes. In the optimum condition of treatment the effective thickness and hardness of hardened layer attainable is respectively 111μ and Hv 620.

The ??(samarium iron garnet) has been investigated by means of X-ray diffractometry and Mossbauer spectroscopy. The specimen has been found to be the cubic garnet structure, and the lattice constant is 12.522Å. At room temperature, Mossbauer spectrum consists of three Zeeman sextests, one due to the ?? ion on octahedral(a) site and the others due to the ?? ion on the tetrahedral sites(d, d'), respectively, and the Neel temperature is 584.9K. Analyzing the Mossbauer parameters at low temperature, the first-order spin reorientation was confirmed.
