        동물 경조직 단백 성분의 조성과 생리기능에 관한 연구 우각 수우각 서각에서 분리한 경단백의 조성에 대하여

        We have previously reported that the abstinence syndrom of narcotic addicts was relieved by the protein extracts of animal hard tissue (from Manis pentadactyla). The protein extracts of the hard tissue were found to be a sort of keratin. Keratins were extracted from three species of animal horns (bovine horn, water buffalo horn and rhinoceros horn) with 0.1 M-Thioglycolate at 40℃ and S-carboxymethyl derivatives (SCMK) of the keratin were synthesized by the method of Gillespie and his co-workers. The yields of the keratin derivatives were in the range of 16% to 30% of the dryweight of the horns. In an attempt to elucidate and compare the compositions of the keratin derivatives, the analysis for amino acids, monosaccharides, hexosamines, uronic acids, sialic acids among bovine horn, water buffalo horn, and rhinoceros horn, were performed. Eighteen kinds of amino acids were found in the three keratin derivatives and there were no differences in the composition among them, with the exception of lysine contents of bovine horn protein extracts(2.67%), which was distinctively lower than those of water buffalo horn protein extracts(5.57%) and those of rhinoceros horn protein extracts (4.99%). The amounts of carboxymethyl cysteine of bovine horn are twice of those of water buffalo horn and those of rhinoceros horn. In view of these results, it is presumed that the crosslinking rate of bovine horn keratin by cystine disulfide bridge is higher than those of water buffalo horn and Rhinoceros horn. The conjugated components of the keratin derivatives, such as monosaccharides, sialic acids, hexosamines, and uronic acids were totally contained 1.38% in bovine horn keratin, 0.47% in water buffalo horn keratin and 1.04 in rhinoceros horn keratin. There are some similarities among the keratin derivatives of the three species, such as these keratins do not contain galactosamine but glucosamine, and also the existance of glucuronic acid in these keratins is not detected but galacturonic acid. The sugar moieties of these proteins consisted of glucose, galactose, xylose, fucose in bovine horn protein extracts; glucose, galactose, xylose, fucose in water buffalo horn protein extracts; glucose, galactose, mannose, ribose in rhinoceros horn protein extracts.

        동물 경조직 단백에 관한 연구의 일환으로 3종의 동물의 각질(우각, 수우각, 서각)을 각각 채취하여 Gillespie 등의 방법에 의하여 0.1 M-thioglycolate로 $400^{\circ}C$에서 keratin을 추출한 후 S-carboxymethyl (SCMK) 유도체를 합성하였고 $\frac{1}{10}$ N-HCl 로 등전점 (pI 4.7~5.05)의 범위에서 침전된 단백을 각각 분리하였다. 추출된 경단백의 수득량은 건조 중량으로 16~30%이었다. 추출된 keratin의 아미노산 조성은 3종 공히 18종이었으며, 그 조성비의 차이는 별로 없었으나 단 우각에서 추출된 단백질의 Lysine 함량은 2.67%로 수우각 5.57%, 서각 4.99%에 비하여 현저한 차이가 있었으며, 우각의 S-carboxymethyl cysteine의 함량은 9.41%로 수우각 6.06%, 서각 5.96%에 비해 크므로 우각 keratin의 disulfide bridge에 의한 cross-linking 정도가 수우각, 서각에 비해 크다는 것 을 나타내고 있다. 추출 단백의 monosaccharide, sialic acid, hexosamine, 및 uronic acid의 조성을 분석한 결과 이들 총 함량을 표시하면 추출 단백질의 건조중량에 대하여 우각은 1.38%, 수우각 0.47%, 서각 1.04%이었다. Sialic acid의 함량은 추출 단백의 건조중량에 대하여 gm 당 우각 $1.26{\mu}mol$, 수우각 $0.29{\mu}mol$, 서각 $0.96{\mu}mol$로 나타났다. Hexosamine 분석에서 3종 공히 galactosamine은 검출 되지 않고 glucosamine만이 검출?瑛만? 또한 uronic acid 분석결과 glucuronic acid는 3종 공히 검출되지 않았고 galacturonic acid만이 검출되었다. 또한 중성당의 조성은 우각 및 수우각에는 glucose, galactose, xylose, fucose가 서각에는 glucose, mannose, ribose가 각각 검출되었다.         Bias 스프링을 이용한 형상기억합금 액츄에이터의 설계 방법

        The actuator using shape memory alloy spring with bias spring can act as a bidirectional actuator due to the restoring force of the bias spring. In the design of shape memory actuator with bias spring, the required design specifications are the generated force and the necessary stroke. To fulfill these requirements, shape memory alloy spring and bias spring should be designed carefully considering the specified application. In this paper, the novel design method for shape memory alloy actuator with bias spring, which does not require any assumptions from experience, has been proposed and verified by the test of fabricated shape memory alloy actuator. The experimental results show good agreements with calculated values, which guarantees the practical validity of our proposed design method.

        안과적 이상을 동반한 Williams 증후군 2예

        목적: Williams 증후군(Williams syndrome)에서 나타나는 안과적 이상에 대한 연구가 국내에 보고된 바가 없기에 2예를 보고하고자 한다. 증례요약: Williams 증후군을 진단받은 5세 남아가 안과 검진을 위하여 내원하였다. 최대교정시력은 우안 0.6, 좌안 0.6이었으며, 양안 근시성 난시와 8프리즘 디옵터의 내사시가 있었다. 또한 양안 성상의 홍채 기질 소견과 망막혈관 구불거림 증가가 관찰되었다. 다른 증례는 Williams 증후군을 진단받은 8세 남아로 양안 근시가 있었고 최대교정시력은 우안 0.7, 좌안 0.4였다. 세극등현미경검사상 양안 성상의 홍채 기질 소견과 망막혈관 구불거림 증가를 확인할 수 있었다. 결론: Williams 증후군은 특징적인 홍채소견 및 굴절이상, 사시, 약시 등 안과적 이상을 동반할 수 있는 유전 질환으로 진단 시 안과적 검사가 필요하다. Purpose: To report two cases of Williams syndrome with ocular manifestations Case summary: A 5-year-old boy who was diagnosed with Williams syndrome visited our hospital for ophthalmic examination. Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) in both eyes was 0.6. He had myopic astigmatism and 8 prism diopters of esotropia. Oval-shaped pupil with a stellate pattern of the iris and increased retinal vascular tortuosity were seen in both eyes. Another case of an 8-year-old boy with Williams syndrome also had myopia in both eyes. BCVA was 0.7 in the right eye and 0.4 in the left eye. A stellate pattern of the iris and increased retinal vascular tortuosity were also seen in both eyes. Conclusions: Williams syndrome, deletion of 7q11.23, has ocular anomalies including a stellate pattern of the iris, refractive er-rors, amblyopia, and strabismus. Therefore, careful ophthalmic examination should be considered when children are diagnosed with Williams syndrome.

        장애인복지관의 법적 근거 강화 방안에 대한 탐색

        The purpose of this article explores the revision of the Welfare Law for people with disabilities in order to strengthen legal basis for the social welfare center for disabled people, which is running as a community based rehabilitation facility. Although the center has played an important role in offering welfare services in a given community, it is pointed out that the legal basis for it is too weak. In order to give an explicit legal basis to the center, this article suggests the necessities of the revision of Article 9 and 35, as well as of the creation of Article 17(2). Article 9 for responsibilities of governments needs to be revised to include the explicit term of the community based rehabilitation, and Article 17(2) is suggested to have more detailed regulations for the rehabilitation. This article also recommends that Article 35 regarding rehabilitation and independent living for people with disabilities should be revised to have the obvious regulations which address specific ways to offer welfare services through specialized institutions including the social welfare center for disabled people.

        장애인활동지원제도 전담인력의 직무만족이 이직의도에 미치는 영향과 소진의 매개효과에 대한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 장애인활동지원 전담인력의 직무만족이 이직의도에 미치는 영향과 양자의 관계에서 소진의 매개효과를 검증함으로써, 본 연구결과를 토대로 전담이력의 이직의도를 감소시킬 수 있는 정책적?실천적 함의를 제언하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2011년 3월 2일부터 3월 25일까지 약 3주에 걸쳐, 전국의 활동지원 전담인력 240명을 대상으로 우편조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 전담인력의 직무만족이 이직의도에 미치는 영향과 소진의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 SPSS18.0프로그램을 이용하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 전담인력의 직무만족이 소진에 통계적으로 유의한 부적(-)영향을 미치고, 소진 또한 이직의도에 유의한 정적(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다, 그리고 동시에 직무만족이 이직의도에 유의한 부적(-)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 결국 소진은 부분매개효과를 지니는 것으로 검증되었다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 토대로 전담인력의 이직의도를 감소시킬 수 있는 정책적?실천적 함의를 제언하였다. The purpose of this study is to suggest political and practical implications for diminishing turn over intentions of PAS(Personal Assistance Service) coordinators, through examining the effect of job satisfaction on turn over intentions and the mediating effect of burn out between job satisfaction and turn over intentions. To collect study data, a mail survey was conducted upon 240 coordinators in Korea. Multiple regressions were employed for mediating effects analysis using SPSS 18.0. The analysis results revealed that job satisfaction had a significant effect on turn over intentions directly and indirectly through burn out. These results imply that job satisfaction and burn out need to be emphasized as a strategy to diminish turnover of coordinators.
