        한국재래산양 머리뼈에 대한 두개계측학적 연구

        This study was carried out to identify the craniometric characteristics of the skull of Korean native goat. The results were as follows; The skull index, cranial index, facial index, right orbital index and left orbital index were $55.86{\pm}2.14$, $59.97{\pm}3.68$, $107.03{\pm}5.71$, $92.22{\pm}4.54$and $90.47{\pm}5.48$, respectively. The ratio of facial length to cranial length was 1:1.15 and the ratio of length of cranial base to palatal length was 1:1.35. The skull length was more correlated to the facial length than to the cranial length(p<0.01). The skull width was more correlated to the width between foramina supraorbitales than to the width between foramina infraorbitales. It also showed negative correlation to the medial width between bases of processus cornualis but positive correlation to the lateral width between bases of processus cornualis(p<0.01). The width between tips of both horns showed high positive correlation to the medial width between processus cornualis, but negative correlation to the lateral width(p<0.01).

        Pseudorabies 바이러스를 이용한 랫드 결장을 지배하는 중추신경핵의 동정

        The present study was carried out to localize the central nuclei innervating the rat colon using pseudorabies virus-Bartha strain which has been known as a very useful neurotracer. The results were as follows. The central nuclei innervating the proximal colon were premotor area, subfornical organ, preoptic area in telencephalon, and paraventricular nucleus, bed nucleus of stria terminalis, retrochiasmatic area in the diencephalon, and periaqueductal gray, Edinger-Westphal nucleus, tegmental nucleus in the mesencephalon, and parabrachial nucleus, locus ceruleus, A5 area, $K{\ddot{o}}lliker$-Fuse nucleus, magnocellular reticular nucleus in the metencephalon, and nucleus tractus solitarius, A1 noradrenergic cell group, dorsal motor nucleus of vagus nerve, nucleus ambiguus, area postrema in the myelencephalon. In the spinal cord, the thoracic division had some nuclei innervating the proximal colon. The nuclei innervating the distal colon were paraventricular nucleus of the diencephalon, Edinger-Westphal nucleus of midbrain, and parabrachial nucleus, locus ceruleus, A5 area, $K{\ddot{o}}lliker$-Fuse nucleus, magnocellular reticular nucleus of the metencephalon, and nucleus tractus solitarius, dorsal motor nucleus of vagus nerve, nucleus ambiguus, area postrema in the myelencephalon. In the spinal cord, thoracic, lumbar and sacral division innervated the distal colon.

        한국재래산양 골성골반계측에 대한 해부학적 연구

        This study was carried out to observe the differences of bony pelvis between male and female Korean native goat by the pelvimetry. The results represented that the middle transverse diameter(1:1.35), ventral transverse diameter(1:1.12), transverse diameter of pelvic outlet(1:1.22), right oblique diameter(1:1.09), the width between ruber ischii(1:1.15) and width of pubis(1:1.11) were shown significant differences(p<0.01) between male and female Korean native goat.

        Mongolian gerbil과 랫드 시상하부핵에서 bombesin 면역반응세포의 분포양상 비교

        This study was carried out to compare the distribution pattern of the bombesin immunoreactive neurons of the hypothalamic nucleus in the rat and Mongolian gerbil. The bombesin immunoreactive neurons in the rat were located in the dorsal part of the dorsomedial hypothalamic nucleus, but in the Mongolian gerbil in the compact part of dorsomedial hypothalamic nucleus. From this results, we could get an evidence that there were some differences in the distribution of peptide between rat and Mongolian gerbil.

        한국재래산양 뇌두개의 분리골에 대한 해부학적 연구

        This study was carried out to identify anatomical characteristics of the individual bones of the cranium of the Korean native goat. The pars lateralis and pans basilaris of the os occipitale were fused each other, whereas the squama occipitalis articulated with the pars lateralis, forming the sutrue. The sinus sphenoidale was formed in the corpus ossis presphenoidalis. The os prietale was observed as a single bone. In the os frontale, an fossa innominatum was found ventrolateral to the root of processus cornualis, and the orificium orbitale canalis supraorbitalis was also formed on the pars orbitalis. The meatus temporalis was formed in the medial side of the pars squama of the os temporalis. The lamina cribrosa of the os ethmoidale was membrane-like structure with many foramina. The labyrinth ethmoidalis was composed of four endoturbinalia and ten to twelve ectoturbinalia.

        흰쥐 시각교차위핵(suprachiasmatic nucleus)의 출생직후 GABA성 신경종말의 분포양상

        The present study was carried out to reveal the role of ${\gamma}$-aminobutylic acid(GABA) during postnatal period in rat. The suprachiasmatic nucleus(SCN) of hypothalamus has been known as the regulation center of circadian rhythm in the mammalians. In this study, we could find many GABAergic terminals in the SCN from day 1 to day 7 after birth. On the basis of these results, it can be said there are some kinds of inhibitory effects by GABA to the light stimulation of newborn rat.

      • Colchicine 투여 후 흰쥐와 모래쥐 시각교차위핵내 bombesin에 대한 면역조직화반응

        This experiment was carried out to investigate the bombesin immunoreactivity in suprachiasmatic nucleus in rat and Mongolian gerbil hypothalamus after colchicine treatment and analyze the morphological difference between rat and Mongolian gerbil which is focused for experimental animal model of neuronal and circulatory diseases. The results were as followings. 1. The shape of suprachiasmatic nucleus was triangle in rat, but oval or kidney-shape in Mongolian gerbil 2. The suprachiasmatic nucleus devided into ventrolateral portion and dorsomedial portion in rat, but dorsolateral portion and ventromedial portion or superior portion and inferior portion in Mongolian gerbil. 3. The area of suprachiasmatic nucleus of rat was greater than one of Mongolian gerbil. 4. The bombesin immunoreactivity showed after colcichine treatment in rat and Mogolian gerbil suprachiasmatic nucleus. 5. The bombesin immunoreactivity was stronger in ventrolateral portion than in dorsomedial portion of suprachiasmatic nucleus in rat, but in ventromedial or inferior portion than in dorsolateral or superior portion of suprachiasmatic nucleus in Mongolian gerbil. 6. The bombesin immunoreactivity showed at the oval, ellipsoid or triangular neurons and varicose nerve terminals in ventrorateral portion of rat, and only nerve terminals in dorsomedial portion of rat suprachiasmatic nucleus. But the bombesin immunoreativity didn't show at neurons of Mongolian gerbil suprachiasmatic nucleus.

        한국재래산양 하악골에 관한 해부학적 연구

        This study was carried out to identify metric and non-metric characteristics of the mandible of the Korean native goat. The results were summarized as follows : The length of the mandible was more correlated with the width of the base of the ramus mandibulae than the margo alveolaris(p<0.01). The height between incisura vasorum facialium and processus condylaris had very high correlation with the height between incisura vasorum facialium and incisura mandibulae(p<0.01). The former was also more correlated to the height of the mandible in front of the first molar tooth than the height of the mandible behind the last molar tooth(p<0.01). The symphysis was formed between both mandibles and it was not able to observe ossification in all case. The number of alveoli for incisor teeth were four each mandible, however three alveoli were observed in two cases. There was usually one or occasionally, two foramina mentalia on the lateral surface of the corpus mandibulae below the margo interalveolaris near the symphysis. The incisura vasorum facialium was poorly developed. A distinct groove was observed rostroventral to the foramen mandibulae. The processus condylaris was shown hammer shape, and the caput mandibulae was flat rectangular form. The processus coronoideus was formed a rectangle and curved laterally. The incisura mandibulae was well developed.

        한국재래산양 중뇌 중심회색질의 neurotensin 분포에 관한 면역조직화학적 연구

        The midbrain periaqueductal gray is a midline structure that encircles the mesencephalic aqueduct of midbrain and plays an important role in anaglgesia and modulation of nociceptive input to the central nervous system. It has been demonstrated that the periaqueductal gray contains several neuropeptides including neurotensin, which has been postulated antinociceptive effect to the periaqueductal gray. The present study was performed to provide immunohistochemical localization of neurotensin of midbrain periaqueductal gray in the Korean native goat by using immunohistochemical method. Neurotensin-like immunireactive neurons were localized throughout the midbrain periaqueductal gray, although more immunoreactive neurons were present in the middle and caudal parts of periaquductal gray than the rostral part. Dense neurotensin-like immunoreactive neurons were much more numerous in the ventral lateral division of the mid- and caudal periaqueductal grays. Neurotensin-like immunoreactive neurons were much larger and more prominent near the external margin of the gray than in the juxta-aqueductal region. Neurotensin-like immunoreactive fibers were observed as short processes extending from immunoreactive cells and some small immunoreactive puncta and varicose-like fibers were also seen.

        한국재래산양의 눈신경 가지에 관한 해부학적 연구

        This study was carried out to investigate the branches and distribution of Nervus ophthalmicus of the Korean native goat. The observation was made by dissection of embalmed cadavers of ten Korean native goats. The results were as follows; 1. N. ophthalmicus arised from the trigeminal nerve in a common trunk with the maxillary nerve. 2. At the exit of the foramen orbitorotundum the N. ophthalmicus gave off Ramus zygomaticotemporalis, N. frontalis, Ramus sinuum frontalium and N. nasociliaris. 3. Ramus zygomaticotemporalis, after giving off N. lacrimalis, left the orbital cavity and gave off Rami cornuales which were distributed the caudolateral part of the base of the horn. 4. After giving off N. ciliaris longus and Ramus communicans cum ganglio ciliari, N. nasociliaris divided into N. ethmoidalis and N. infratrochlearis which gave off Rami cornuales.
