산업전반에 걸친 전산화에 부응하여 각 분야별로 독자적 개발이 이루어진 응용 프로그램간의 데이터 교환 및 통합화의 구현은 점차적으로 현실화 되어가고 있다. 본 내용에서는 이런 추세를 지원하기 위한 데이터 표준화에 대한 내용을 간단히 설명하고 이를 이용한 통합 시스템의 개발개념을 소개한다. 또한 후반부에서는 실용화 단계에 있는 개발 사례를 다루고 있다.

The computer program which predicts the gas exchange process of multi-cylinder 4-Stroke cycle spark-ignition engine, can be great assistance for the design and development of new engine. In this study, the computer program was developed to predict the gas exchange process of multi-cylinder four stroke cycle spark ignition engine including intake and exhaust systems. When gas exchange process is to be calculated, the evaluation of the variation of the thermodynamic properties with time and position in the intake and exchaust systems is required.<br/> For the purpose, the application of the generalized method of characteristics to the gas exchange process is known as one of the method. The simulation model developed was investigated to the analysis of the branch system of multi-cylinder. The models used were the 2-zone expansion model and single zone model for in cylinder calculation and the generalized method of characteristic including area change, friction, heat transfer and entropy gradients for pipe flow calculation.<br/> The empirical constants reduced to least number as possible were determined through the comparison with the experimented indicator diagram of one particular operating condition and these constants were applied to other operating condition. The predicted pressures in cylinder were compared with the experimental results over the wide range of equivalence ratio and ignition timing. The predicted values have shown good agreement with the experimental results. The theremodynamic properties in the intake and exhaust system were predicted over the wide range of equivalence ratio and ignition timing.<br/> The obtained results can be sumarized as follows.<br/> 1. Pressures in the exhaust manifold have a little influence on the equivalence ratio, a great influence on the ignition timing.<br/> 2. Pressures in the inlet manifold are nearly unchanged by the equivalence ratio and the ignition timing.<br/> 3. In this study, the behaviors of the exhaust temperature, gas in the exhaust manifold were ascertained.
비선형 해석에 의한 철근콘크리트 깊은 보의 전단강도 산정

As the residential spaces become high-rised and high-density, multi-story buildings are constructed with transfer girders, deep beams, wall foundations, floor diaphragms, shear walls which providing column offsets. Especially, in the analysis and design of multi-story buildings, the lateral loads must be taken into consideration. But, there have been no pertinent theory and national design code for predicting ultimate shear strength of reinforced concrete deep beams with web opening. There have been only empirical and semi-empirical formulas for predicting their ultimate load bearing capacities due to the complexities of the structural non-linearity and material heterogeneity. So in this study, two-dimensional finite element models that represent exactly the behavior of real structures are analyzed with SBETA which is a general nonlinear finite element analysis program, and the results are compared with that from the real reinforced concrete deep beams with or without web opening tests. This paper have obtained that present equations have some problems on the analogy of these results, and proposes modified equations to predict the analysis results properly. From the analysis comparison and parametric study, the study presents the elementary data of the shear resistance for the reinforced concrete deep beams with web opening.

The development of the effective computer simulation program which predicts the performances and emissions of the multi-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine has been described in the first paper.<br/> In this paper, the comparison between the predictions and experiments of the transient pressure at each point in the intake and exhaust systems was made to examine the validity and availability of the simulation models adopted. This test was performed for the engines equipped with different turbochargers under various operating conditions.<br/> The results of calculation showed good agreements with the experimental data and proved that the simulation program developed can be used for the matching of the turbocharger to the engine.

As a mean of increasing engine power. great attention has been concentrated on the turbocharging owing to better fuel economy. smaller engine size and lower emission. The performance in turbocharged engine depends not only on the efficiency of the engine and the turbocharger used, but also on the total characteristics of the system by the matching turbocharger to the engine. The matching of the turbocharger to the engine has been usually accomplished by the empirical techniques with a great deal of laborious work. It would be better to predict the performance and emission in the turbocharged engine using the effective simulation model.<br/> In this study, computer simulation program has been developed to predict the transient variation of properties of gas in the cylinder, intake and exhaust pipes, the engine performances and emissions.

In this study, the computer program was developed to predict the engine performances and exhaust emissions of a 4-cylinder 4-stroke cycle spark ignition engine including intake and exhaust system.<br/> The simulation models applied to each process were as follows. For the combustion process, two zone model which requires only one empirical constant was applied, and for the gas exchange process, the method of characteristics that allows the calculations of the time variation and spatial variation of properties along the pipes was used. Constant pressure perfect mixing model was applied to take into account of the interaction at manifold branchs. To predict exhaust emissions, twelve chemical species were considered to be present in combustion products. These species were calculated through equilibrium thermodynamics and kinetic theory.<br/> The empirical constants reduced to least number as possible were determined through the comparison with the experimental indicator diagram of one particular operating condition and these constants were applied to other operating conditions.<br/> The predicted performances and emissions were compared with the experimental results over the wide range of operating conditions.
