초음파 개질 경유의 연료특성과 연소특성의 상관성에 관한 연구(Ⅰ) (화학구조와 발열량과의 상관관계)

The main objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between chemical structure and higher heating value of reformed diesel fuels by ultrasonic irradiation.<br/> In order 10 analyze the chemical changes of molecular structure of the reformed diesel fuels by ultrasonic irrdiation, ¹H-NMR was used and bomb calorimeter was used to analyze the the effect of higher heating values of the ultrasonic energy added diesel fuels to compare with thai of the conventional diesel fuel. The results showed thai the aromatic carbon percentages and higher heating values of the reformed diesel fuels by ultrasonic irradiation increased more than that of the conventional diesel fuel, but the Aromatics percentages and branch indices of those reduced more than that.

This paper describes the effects of the combustion characteristics as cylinder pressure, heat release rate, mass fraction burned, and combustion duration of ultrasonically reformed diesel fuels in the indirect injection diesel engine. From the study, following conclusive remarks can be made. 1) The maximum combustion chamber pressures were increased by a maximum of 3㎏/㎠ in case of ultrasonically reformed fuel in comparison with that in the conventional fuel. In case of the retard of fuel injection timing, the maximum combustion chamber pressures of the ultrasonically reformed fuel showed nearly the same those of the conventional fuel. 2) Considering mass fraction burned, under operating with 2,000rpm and load 75%, the combustions of ultrasonically reformed fuel started a little early and ended rather early more than those of conventional fuel. When the injection timing was delay, the combustions of ultrasonically reformed fuel started a little later and ended rather early more than those of conventional fuel. 3) Within all the operation condition ranges of this experimental test, the ultrasonically reformed fuel decreased the combustion duration by a maximum of 7% and the ultrasonically reformed fuel delayed decreased the combustion duration by a maximum of 10% in comparison with conventional fuel.

To effectively meet the current regulations on the exhaust emissions of diesel engine, this study is to investigate the effects the engine performance characteristics and exhaust emission characteristics of ultrasonic reformed diesel fuels in the indirect injection diesel engine.<br/> From the study, following conclusive remarks can be made. <br/> 1) The optimal fuel injection timing of ultrasonic reformed fuels is suitable to be delayed <br/> in comparison with that of conventional fuels. 2) The engine power and the NOx of ultrasonic reformed fuels increase more than those of<br/> conventional fuels, but the bsfc and the smoke of ultrasonic reformed fuels decrease<br/> more than those of conventional fuels.<br/> 3) In case of the retard of fuel injection tinting, the bsfc and the NOx of ultrasonic reformed fuels decrease more than those of conventional fuels.<br/>

The main objective of this study is to investigate reduction of smoke in exhaust emissions from diesel engine by using reformulated diesel fuel by ultrasonic energy adding system.<br/> In order to evaluate the effect of ultrasonic energy and predict the reductive possibility of smoke in exhaust emissions without operating diesel engine, IH-NMR was used to analyze the chemical changes of molecular structure of the ultrasonic energy added diesel fuels compared with that of the conventional diesel fuel, and the 90% distillation temperature was measured to investigate the physical changes of the ultrasonic energy added diesel fuels compared with the conventional diesel fuel.<br/> Based on the investigation results, aromatics fraction ratio in diesel fuels reformulated by ultrasonic energy compared with conventional diesel fuel reduced. and the 90% distillation temperature was decreased the reformulated diesel fuels more than conventional diesel fuel. therefore, the reduction of smoke of reformulated diesel fuels can be estimated<br/>

In this paper, the effects of the ultrasonic energy irradiation in diesel fuel on the smoke reduction have been investigated for indirect injection diesel engine. First, in the basis experiment, the aromatics percentages and 90% distillation temperatures of the ultrasonic energy irradiation diesel fuels by analyzing ¹H-NMR spectra and distillation tests reduced more than those of conventional diesel fuels<br/> The total combustion durations and smoke concentrations of diesel fuels irradiated by ultrasonic energy reduced more than those of conventional diesel fuels in the diesel engine tests.<br/>
연속분사노즐에서 W/O type 초음파 유화연료의 분무특성에 관한 연구

To investigate spray of emulsified fuel of ultrasonic-energy-added W/O type, we mixed water with diesel oil by using ultrasonic energy fuel feeding system. We measured the SMD of sprayed droplet to find atomization characteristics of emulsified fuel by using the Malvern 2600 system. In addition, we measured the capacitance value to verify stability of same specimen by using the digital LCR meter, EDC1630. The main results are as follows; 1) The measuring distance increased between one hole nozzle tip and analyzer beam, the more increased SMD increased. 2) The more water content increased, the more capacitance value increased depending on the time. Main Parameters of the study are the amount of water content, 0~30% by 5% in emulsified fuel, and the measurement distance, 10~140㎜ by 10㎜ or 20㎜, between nozzle tip and analyzer beam.

This experiment was undertaken to investigate the atomization characteristics of the biodiesel blended fuel and ultrasonic energy added biodiesel blended fuel. Test fuels were conventional diesel fuel and biodiesel fuel. We compared to the characteristics of viscosity and surface tension, SMD between biodiesel blended fuel and ultrasonic energy added biodiesel blended fuel. Sauter mean diameter was measured under the variation of the spray distance. Viscosity and Surface tension was measured under the variation of the time trace. To measure the droplet size, we used the Malvern system 2600C. Droplet size distribution was analyzed from the result data of Malvern system. Through this experiment, we found that the condition of the ultrasonic energy added situation had smaller Sauter mean diameter of droplet, viscosity and surface tension than that of the conventional situation.
