MBTI와 사주명리의 연관성 고찰 -외향성과 내향성을 중심으로-

본 연구의 목적은 MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator)와 사주명리를 비교하여 그 연관성을 찾고, 성격 이론 및 심리 분석도구로서 사주명리의 객관성을 확보하는데 있다. MBTI를 구성하는 지표는 외향성(extroversion)과 내향성(introversion), 감각적 인식(sensing)과 직관적 인식(intuition), 사고적 판단(thinking)과 감정적 판단(feeling), 판단적 태도(judging)과 인식적 태도(perceiving) 등 8가지이다. 그 중에서도 본 연구는 외향성(E)과 내향성(I)이 사주명리의 어떤 요소와 연관성이 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 따라서 MBTI 검사를 통하여 외향성(E)으로 판명된 10명과 내향성(I)으로 판명된 10명의 사주를 ① 일간(日干) ② 월지(月支, 출생월) ③ 오행의 개수 ④ 오행의 비율 ⑤ 천간지지 음양의 개수 등에 따라 비교·분석하였다. 그 결과 MBTI의 외향성(E)은 사주팔자의 목(木)·화(火)의 개수와 비율, 내향성(I)은 금(金)·수(水)의 개수와 비율 등 사주팔자의 전체적인 오행의 세력과 관련성이 있다고 판명되었다. 향후 MBTI의 다른 지표와 사주명리의 어떤 요소가 연관성이 있는지를 탐구해보는 것도 유의미한 작업이라고 사료된다. This purpose of this study is to compare the relationship between MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and Saju-Myeongli, and to secure objectivity of Saju-Myeongli, as a personality theory and psychological analysis tool. Indicators that make up the MBTI are Extroversion and Introversion, Sensing and iNtuition, Thinking and Feeling, Judging and Perceiving. Among them, I tried to find out what elements of the Saju-Myeongli are related to the Extroversion and Introversion of MBTI. Thus, Saju-Palja of 10 Extrovert persons and 10 Introvert persons were compared and analyzed according to ① Ilgan(日干) ② Wolji(月支), ③ The number of Five Elements ④ The ratio of Five Elements ⑤ The number of Yin-Yang of Chonganjiji(天干地支).As a result, it was found that the Extroversion of the MBTI was related to the to tal power of Mok(木) and Hwa(火) of Saju-Palja and Introversion of the MBTI was related to the total power of Geum(金) and Soo(水)of Saju-Palja, depending on the number and ratio. It would also be a meaningful task to explore what Indicators of MBTI correlate with what elements of the Saju-Myeongli in the future.

기독교와 명리학의 양립가능성에 대한 고찰- 기독교의 예정론과 명리학의 운명론을 중심으로 -

우리나라에서 기독교와 명리학은 각각 양지와 음지에서 크게 영향력을 발휘하는 신념체계라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 기독교는 명리학을 미신으로 여기고 있으며, 명리학 역시 두 체계사이에 놓인 간극을 메우려는 아무런 시도도 없이 현실에 안주하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기독교의 예정론과 명리학의 운명론을 비교하여, 기독교의 교리인 섭리론 안에서 명리학의 운명론과 기독교의 예정론이 양립할 수 있음을 논하는 데 있다. 기독교의 예정론은 섭리론에서, 하나님이 개인의 삶에 직접 개입함으로 발생하는 특별섭리에 속한다. 반면 일반섭리는 신이 피조물을 창조할 때 피조물에게 위임한 법칙으로, 동양에서 하늘과 자연의 운행을 설명하는 음양오행론도 포함된다. 또한 이 음양오행론은 명리학의 바탕이 되므로, 명리학은 기독교의 일반섭리 안에서 설명될 수 있는 학문인 것이다. 오랜 역사를 지니고 있는 유용한 상담도구이나 편견으로 인해 저평가되고 있는 명리학이, 그 학문이 가지고 있는 가치만큼의 대우를 받기 위해 본 연구는 유의미한 작업이라고 생각된다. In Korea, Christianity and the science of Myeongli are belief systems that have a great influence on both sunny area and shade area. However, Christianity regards the science of Myeongli as superstition, and the science of Myeongli has settled down to reality without any attempt to bridge the gap between the two systems. So, this study is to compare the predestination of Christianity with the fatalism of science of Myeongli and discuss the possibility that the science of Myeongli can be understood in the Christian providential theory and thus the two systems are compatible. Christian predestination lies in providential theory, a special providence that comes from the direct intervention of God in personal life. General providence, on the other hand, is a law entrusted to the creature when God created the creation, and includes the Yin-Yang and five-elements that explains the operation of the nature in the orient. In addition, this Yin-Yang and five-elements is the basis of the science of Myeongli, so that the science of Myeongli can be understood within the general providence of Christianity. The science of Myeongli is very useful counseling tools. But because of prejudice, the science of Myeongli has been underestimated. In order for the science of Myeongli to be treated as much as the value of the scholarship, this study seems to be a meaningful work.
