        금속 증착 폴리에스터 직물의 세탁에 대한 전자파 차폐효율의 변화

        The effect of washing on electromagnetic wave shielding effectiveness(SE) has been studied. The shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic wave shielding fabrics decreased as the washing time increases. From the observation of SEM, AFM, and EDX, it was found that decrease in shielding effectiveness was caused by corrosion and removal of the plated metals from the surface of electromagnetic wave shielding fabrics during washing. Reduction of shielding effectiveness via washing is strongly dependent upon the washing temperature and the shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic wave shielding fabric after 30 min. of washing above 6$0^{\circ}C$ is very low.

        FT-IR을 이용한 섬유 연소가스 정량분석에 대한 연구(I) -각 연소가스의 특성피크영역 -

        In order to determine the applicability of FT-IR spectroscopy for quantitative measurement of 7 individual combustion gases of textiles, NH$_3$, CO, $CO_2$, HCl, HCN, NO, NO$_2$, the combustion gas analysis system was equipped with FT-IR spectrophotometer. It is found that each standard gas shows a group of spectral absorption bands consisting of a large number of small peaks in the IR region. Through the comparision between the spectrum of standard gas and that of combustion gas, it was found that each component of combustion gas, except for NO$_2$, has a characteristic spectral range which does not overlap with that of other components.

        External auditory canal cholesteatoma is an uncommon lesion of the external auditory canal, which usually present with otorrhea and chronic dull pain. It usually eroded bony portion of external auditory canal wall extensively with progressive bony lysis, and can extends into the middle ear cavity, tegmen tympani, mastoid air cells, and/or skull base. External auditory canal cholesteatoma invading skull base is rare, and such a case is not yet reported in Korea. We experienced one case of bilateral external auditory canal cholesteatoma invading the dura of middle cranial fossa which was treated surgically by the endoaural approach in right side and the middle cranial fossa /transmeatal combined approach in left side. We present this case with a review of the literature.

        Construction of Coastal Surveying Database and Application Using Drone

        Drone has been continuously studied in the field of geography and remote sensing. The basic researches have been actively carried out before the utilization in the field of photogrammetry. In Korea, it is necessary to study the actual way of research in accordance with the drone utilization environment. In particular, analysis on the characteristics of DSM (Digital Surface Model) generated through drone are needed. In this study, the characteristic of drone DSM as a data acquisition method was analyzed for coastal management. The coastal area was selected as the study area, and data was acquired by using drone. As a result of the study, the terrain model and the ortho image of coastal area were produced. The accuracy of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) results were very high about 10cm at check points. However, concavo-convex shapes appeared in very flat areas such as tidal flats and roads. To correct this terrain model distortion, a new terrain model was created through data processing and the results were evaluated. If additional studies are carried out and the construction and analysis of terrain model using drone image is done, drone data for coastal management will be available.

      • 금속코팅 직물의 수용액 중 부식에 따른 전자파 차폐 효율의 변화

        본 연구에서는 금속(Cu, Ni)으로 진공 증착된 전자파 차폐 polyester직물의 부식에 따른 전자파 차폐 효율(electromagnetic shielding effectiveness)의 변화에 대해 알아보았다. 직물은 금속이 Ni, Cu, Ni순으로 진공 증착된 taffeta를 사용하였으며 부식과정은 상온에서 pH와 시간을 변화시켜가며 일정 부피의 용액 하에서 개방상태로 진행시켰다. 전자파 차폐 효율은 ASTM D4935에 의해 측정하였다. pH2~ 12에서 최대 24시간 동안 부식시킨 후 차폐 효율을 측정한 결과 24시간 부식시 차폐율이 최대 18%정도 감소하였으나, 부식이 초기에 빠르게 진행되어 부식 5시간때 이미 13.53%의 차폐율 감소를 나타내었다. 알칼리성 세제를 사용하여 세탁 견뢰도 실험 후 ICP측정에 의해 세탁시 손실된 금속 성분의 농도에 따른 차폐 효율의 변화를 알아보았다. 그 결과 손실된 금속의 농도가 높을수록 차폐율은 감소한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 SEM, AFM을 사용하여 부식된 금속표면을 관찰한 결과 부식이 진행될수록 직물 표면의 거칠기가 증가함을 알 수 있었다.

        585-nm Pulsed Dye LASER를 이용한 성대 폴립의 치료

        Background and Objectives: The 585-nm pulsed dye laser (PDL) has recently been adopted by otolaryngologists because of its epithelial-sparing properties. Many authors have reported the use of PDL for treatment of various vocal cord lesions. This purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of 585-nm PDL in the treatment of vocal polyp. Materials and Methods: Eight patients with vocal polyp were treated with 585-nm PDL from Sep. 2006 to Nov. 2006 in Yong-dong Sevrance hospital. 5 of them went through local anesthesia and 3 of them went through general anesthesia. In order to control laser fiber, flexible digital transnasal laryngoscope was applied under local anesthesia and general anesthesia using LMA, and micromanipulator was used under general anesthesia using endotracheal tube. The evaluations of vocal function was done at pre-and postoperation. Results: All patients improved in the perceptual evaluation of voice after PDL surgery. The aerodynamic study revealed that 5 of 8 patients showed improvement in maximal phonation time, and 6 of 8 showed improvement in mean airflow rate during phonation. The acoustic analysis revealed that all patients showed improvement in Jitter and Shimmer, and 7 of 8 showed improvement in noise to harmony ratio. Conclusion: This study demonstrates promising results in the efficacy of 585-nm PDL for the treatment of vocal polyps, and it illustrates a new option for vocal polyp treatment as well as the advantage of PDL surgery.

        PET 필름중의 유기용매 확산(II)

        Isothermal solvent diffusion phenomena for dioxane in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film were analyzed. The change in diffusion behaviors was investigated in terms of the microstructural change of PET treated by drawing and by solvent-induced crystallization(SINC) using methylene chloride vapor. Using the Kelly-Bueche equation and adopting the classification scheme of Vrentas and the experimental results of Thomas and Durning, the diffusion behaviors of dioxane in PET can be classified as typical Fickian behavior above T , Case II above T among non-Fickian behaviors, and typical non-Fickian behavior above T , Case II above T among non-Fickian behaviors, and typical non-Fickian behavior above t According to changing the microstructure of PET. Also, the diffusion of dioxane in amorphous PET results in cry stallization due to good compatibility between PET and dioxane over whole investigated temperature range.

        황벽추출물에 의한 BTCA 처리 면직물의 염색

        Berberine is the main component of Phellodendron amurense Rupr., a natural yellow colorant. Because of the low substantivity of the cationic dyes to cellulosic fibers, the cotton fabrics are difficult to dye with berberine. 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid (BTCA) and other polycarboxylic acids have been used in durable press finishing of cellulosic fibers. Introduction of carboxylic group to the cellulosic fibers could improve the interaction between berberine and cellulosic fibers. Thus the cotton fabrics treated with polycarboxylic acid could be dyed with Phellodendron amurense Rupr. extract. In this context dyeing behavior and color fastness properties were investigated. Dye uptake increased with increasing concentration of BTCA, but both wash fastness and light fastness were not enhanced. Neutral pH of dyebath resulted in higher dye uptake than acidic or alkaline conditions.

        Citric Acid 첨가에 의한 Hydroxyapatite 나노입자 함유 키토산 필름의 제조

        Nano-structured hydroxyapatite(HAp)/chitosan composites and their transparent films were prepared by the co-precipitation and solvent casting method. According to TEM observation, HAp particles with 100~150nm in length and 10~20nm in width were formed in the composites. We investigated the role of citric acid in the HAp/chitosan film formation. The HAp/chitosan films were prepared at various concentrations of citric acid. HAp particles did not aggregate in the chitosan matrix above 50% citric acid concentration for the HAp content. The inhibition effects result from the adsorption of citric acid on the surface of HAp particles by ionic exchange of phosphate ions with citrate ions at the HAp/chitosan composite solution, which is caused by a higher affinity of citrate than phosphate species for the Ca-site on the HAp surface.
