This paper represents a study on disassembly sequence generation for automobile parts. This is particularly useful because adequate end-of-life disassembly becomes crucial as take-back obligations are imposed for environmental reasons. Therefore in this paper a method is suggested to automatically derive all the feasible subassemblies and feasible actions between them from the assembly modeling files. As a result, in consideration of the all parts and subassemblies the optimum disassembly sequence is generated. And the optimum disassembly sequence for a certain part or subassembly can be also generated.

In this paper the disassembly module is suggested for a proper recycling. The necessary requirement for recycling is the ease of disassembly. The disassembly module is developed for the ease of disassembly of automobile parts. The requirement of a disassembly module is first of all the proper disassembly interface. A disassembly interface can be the same interface for assembly, and it may be another one. The requirements of the disassembly interface are at the use a form maintenance, a durability, and a shockproof etc. At the disassembly the disassembly module should be disconnected from the assembly with the use of proper energy.

The needs for enhancing creativity in engineering design education continue to increase. Recent studies about a learning environment and learning support tools provide some new possibilities. The education of creative thinking however must begin from the change of attitude of students to creativity. The experimental results and some lessons for modification of systematic engineering design methodology to creative were reported from the course ‘engineering design’.

This paper represents a study on the estimation of the recycled material value and the disassembly cost for disassembly sequence generation of automobile parts. This is particularly useful because adequate end-of-life disassembly becomes crucial as take-back obligations are imposed for environmental reasons. Therefore in the last paper a method was suggested to automatically derive all the feasible subassemblies and feasible actions between them from the assembly modeling files. And in consideration of the all parts and subassemblies the optimum disassembly sequence was generated for the real world. And also the optimum disassembly sequence for a certain part or subassembly could be generated. For the virtual simulation of the disassembly sequence it is indispensible to know the disassembly cost and material value. In this paper it is suggested to estimate the disassembly cost and material value.
