바이모달트램 운행을 위한 운영기반시스템 개발에 관한 연구

Bimodal tram is being developed to be completed in 2010 and the infrastructure needs to be developed to make the operation in time. Through the study of infrastructure reflecting domestic condition, dedicated lane, station, connection center, automated operation, precise docking, ticketing system, information system, management system for operation and maintenance, and refueling station will be developed and their performances will be also verified through the construction of test bed. The economical, safe and environment-friendly operation of the bimodal tram will be established through the present study.

최근 도심지 교통정체를 완화하고, 대중교통의 정시성을 확보하기 위하여 고가교량이나 지하차도의 건설이 증가하고 있다. 반면에 교차로에서 진행되는 공사로 인하여 교통체증이 유발되고, 조망권 침해로 인한 많은 민원 발생도 증가하고 있다. 이는 고가교량이나 지하차도를 별도로 시공함으로써 교량높이와 연장이 증가하기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 지하차도 일부단면을 고가교량의 하부구조로 활용함으로써 공사비를 절감하고, 조망권 침해로 인한 민원을 줄이는 방안을 제시하였다. 즉, 지하차도를 구성하는 U형 세그먼트를 고가교량의 교대부로 활용하여 공사비를 절감할 수 있다. 또한 고가교량 연장과 높이를 줄이고, 공사면적을 교차로로 집중함으로써 민원발생도 감소할 수 있다. There is increasing that the overhead-bridges or underground roadways are being constructed to relieve traffic congestion in downtown area and to secure regular time of public transportation. On the other hand, there is also growing incurring civil petition and traffic congestion due to constructing at the crossroads. That"s because height and span are increased by separately constructing the overhead-bridges or underground roadways at the crossroads. In this study, we suggested a way to reduce construction costs by using a part of underground roadway to substructures of overhead-bridge and civil petitions caused by prospect right infringement. In other words, it can reduce construction costs by using u-shaped segments consisted of underground roadway to abutment parts of overhead-bridge. Also, it can be decreasing civil petitions by shortening height and span of overhead-bridge and concentrating on crossroad.

The public transportation in operation or to be planned domestically includes subway, LRT, bimodal tram and bus, which are independently characterized in their passenger capacity and cost. High quality service is generally accompanied by high cost of construction and operation. Thus, ITS, BIS/BMS and BRT system are recently introduced to provide high quality service to the passengers with the cost as low as possible. The bimodal tram is under development to achieve such goals in public transportation. The passenger capacity is approximately expected to be 10,000~17,000 persons/hour and the construction cost to be 10~30 million dollars/km. It is possible to construct the infrastructure gradually depending on the demand of transportation in the planned route, which can effectively reduce the initial cost to launch the service. The bimodal tram is developed to provide the advantages of subway and bus to the passengers with respect to the scheduled operation and flexibility of the lines.

In the previous papers, both analytic solutions and finite element solutions considering the effects of the shear deformation and the rotary inertia had been presented in order to evaluate natural frequences and mode shapes of suspension bridges. In this study, by including the geometric non-linear term of main cables, the non-linear vibration theory taking into account combined effects of main cables and shear-flexible stiffening girders are presented and solved by using the suspension bridge element. For variation of the vehicle velocity, the static and dynamic behaviors of 3 span hinged suspension bridges subjected to the moving load are investigated.

Since 2003 state transportation study core technology development is being promoted as part of the bimodal trams operating in accordance with the development of refractive vehicle as research infrastructure for building high-tech road transport system has been the research and development. Bimodal trams of refraction as the vehicle for him to introduce domestic first ever operation management system also developed in Korea according to case-based technology system but most of the country and in this study mainly those based on technology integration building management system and the bimodal trams of refraction of a vehicle operated was to highlight the features and benefits. Bimodal tram station itself is the way the exclusive properties and to operate the route with large transport capacity has the characteristics of the railway but the only routes such as railroad lines is not of closed roads under certain circumstances the flexibility to use has to be integrated operations management system of bimodal trams characteristics of the railroads and public transportation by combining the characteristics of a flexible convenient and secure services to users with the aim of providing research and will denote the system developed. In this study bimodal integration system required for the operation of the tram station around the wired and wireless network management center applying the organic integration into one system so that you have to be centrally managed. In addition the existing traffic management system operates as a unidirectional rather than monitoring all system-wide management via the interactive network through real-time requests and responses were configured to allow management and control. These findings of the existing traffic operation management system that you can jump step can be based on future unmanned vehicles and related systems through control of the operation management system will be offered as a basis.

Recently a variety of new transportation systems have been developed or introduced but there has been a lot of confusion in the selection process of systems because there is no such domestic cases and a lack of information on the systems. It does not make sense to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the systems in a single frame because each system has different characteristics and purposes. It is important to compare the relative values of the systems considering the status of the project site transport demand costs and environmental aspects of cities. In the present paper the operational system and infrastructure technologies of the bimodal tram developed in Korea were investigated. Based on this the values for the bimodal tram was compared with similar new transportation systems through several practice cases. It is expected to promote in the practical use of the bimodal tram through this study.
