Purpose: The prevalence of osteoporosis is 34.9% and 7.4% in women and men, respectively. It is reportedin 1 in 5 middle-aged and postmenopausal women in Korea. In osteoporosis, an imbalance betweenosteoblasts and osteoclasts leads to reduced bone density, resulting in weakened bones and an increasedrisk of fractures. The T-Score is an index to assess bone density, representing the standard deviation in bonedensity compared to that of young adults. A T-score of -1.0 or higher is considered normal, -1.0 to -2.5indicates osteopenia or low bone density, and -2.5 or less indicates osteoporosis. Methods: Patients with a history of femoral or vertebral fractures or osteoporosis, after excluding secondarycauses, were eligible for drug therapy. Drug therapy for osteoporosis includes bisphosphonate preparations,female hormone therapy (estrogen), selective estrogen modulators, teriparatide (parathyroid hormone),denosumab, and alendronate. Exercise is widely recommended as it is reported to prevent bone loss, increasebone strength, and mitigate muscle loss, muscle weakness, and balance problems due to aging. Results: Exercise effectively prevents osteoporosis by improving bone density and functions of the muscularand nervous systems. Exercises that apply physical stress to the bone tissue, such as resistance exercisesand weight training, are recommended treating osteoporosis. Conclusion: These exercises not only lower the rate of bone density loss but also increase bone density. Therefore, this study aimed to present a theoretical basis for effective management to improve bone densityin patients with osteoporosis.

Most of the Military Radar have several kind of Radomes to protect the Antenna and Electric Equipment. The Radome is made with composite materials to get the light weight and high mechanical strength. Recently, The surface damage problems associated with Hailstone Impact on aircraft or Military Equipment during flight and operating condition become an important issue. Hailstone impact is dangerous not only for the direct damages but also for the hidden damages which may cause more serious problems. There are many research which is focus on the aircraft damages under hailstone impact but few research have been studied for the military radome panel. In this paper, We studied the hailstone impact on Composite Radome Panel which has sandwich structure with Finite Element Analysis. To better understand hailstone impact, the ANSYS LS-DYNA explicit dynamics code was employed to simulate hailstone impact. A Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics approach(SPH) was chosen to represent the hailstone geometry. We studied the strength variation of the radome panel under the different sizes and speeds of hailstone.

In this Study, the structural & Fatigue analysis has been conducted for the air compressor's Cylinder Fixing Screw. A purpose of this study is to look into a structural strength and safety factor at severe loading condition which is not intended and to compare original screw(1/4 UNC, Strength Grade2) with the recommended screw(M8, Strength grade 12.9). SolidWorks program is used for 3D shape modeling and ANSYSWORKBENCH V12.1 is used for Strength and Fatigue Analysis. To acquire the severe loading condition, Vibration and Pressure measurement test performed at bad alignment aircompressor.

Backgroud: Dementia management is driving interest in digital therapeutics. Advanced countries have recently implemented research and development (R&D) to enhance the launch of the digital therapeutics market; however, the R&D status of digital therapeutics in Korea still needs to be discovered. This study aims to analyze the R&D status of digital therapeutics for patients with dementia and considered the direction of related national projects. Methods: This study analyzed the R&D projects for dementia-related digital therapeutics from 2010 to 2022. Results: Among the 34 projects corresponding to the study criteria, the Ministry of Science and Information & Communications Technology was the most active, with 28 projects and an investment of 23.7 billion KRW. The most used keywords were Cognition, “System”, “Diagnosis”, “Data”, “Treatment”, “Prevention”, “Artificial Intelligence”, “Evaluation”, “Platform”, “Brain”, “Content”, “Early”, “Arbitration”, “Virtual reality”, and “Daily life”. The national R&D projects focused on virtual reality and artificial intelligence. Seoul emerged as the most common location, with most participating researchers being male engineers holding a bachelor’s degree. Conclusion: This study aims to analyze the current state of R&D in digital therapeutics for patients with dementia in Korea, with a specific focus on virtual reality and artificial intelligence. While digital therapeutics show potential as a viable solution for dementia management, challenges such as establishing clear indications for digital therapeutics and addressing the shortage of specialized personnel still remain. Therefore, additional research and workforce development are necessary.
디커플러조립체 로하셀 폼 팽창에 따른 연성 PCB 변형량 예측에 관한 연구

Generally, DeCoupler Assembly for Millitary 3D Array Antenna is fabricated by adhesive bonding and Removes coupling Signals between the Single Array Antennas in the arbitrary Space. When It is located in the arbitrary Space, Volume Expansion of Rohacell form is occur caused by surrounding Air Temperature and Humidity. and then Antenna Performance is degraded by influence of Volume Change. In this Study, The Structural Simulation is perfomed to analyze Deformation of Flexible PCB by using Finite Element Method. For reduce Analysis Time, A quarter model of the D-Coupler Assembly is used. UGNX program is used for 3D shape modeling and ANSYSWORKBENCH V14.5 is used for Structural Analysis.

The purpose of this paper is to develop web-based simulation system which can be used anytime, anywhere without expensive hardware and software. In this paper, a web-based simulation system was developed by utilizing finite element analysis and client/server system using visual C++ language. The client/server system consist of two modules, post-processor module, management system module. The input data for FEM calculation is transferred to the management system. After that, the result from the simulation can be visualized through the post-processor module. By using this system, small industries and individuals can considerably save the time and expense
리플로 솔더링 과정 열-구조 연성 해석을 통한 PCB 불량 예측에 대한 연구

In order to prevent bad soldering of PCBs(Printed Circuit Board) assembly during Reflow Soldering Process. Thermal Structure coupled simulation is perfomed about Forced convection reflow soldering process with air injection for PCB Components which have different material properties. In this study, Simulation result predicted failure mode and location caused by material mismatch and compared with experimental result. Simulation is perfomed using ANSYS WORKBENCH.
대형용접구조물의 미세틈새가 구조 건전성에 미치는 영향성에 관한 연구

During the welding process, welding deformation is caused by the non-uniformity of the temperature distribution in the weldment. the geometrical shape of a Welding bead, Welding deformation and Gap have strong influence on the mechanical reliability such as fracture strength and fatigue life against large welding structure . In this study, Finite element analysis was used to figure out the Structural integrity correlation of the large welded structures caused by small gap. Based on the simulation results, small gap around welding conjunction has influence on structrual integrity. In conclusion, it was recommended that welding structure design be perfomed according to the proper welding procedure and considered minimizing small gap near the welding metal conjuction.
