Three cases of pontine hematoma accompanied by serious neurological symptoms with coma were treated surgically. All patients underwent suboccipital craniectomy with removal of hematoma and subsequently ventriculoperitoneal shunts were needed in all cases. Postoperatively all cases showed improvement with some neurological sequelae remained. Most of untreated pontine hematoma may be fatal, whereas surgical evacuation of the hematoma is safe and promising. We emphasize surgical treatment of pontine hematoma should be considered in any cases though they show serious neurological deficits.
복싱 스포츠클럽 청소년의 자율성지지와 심리욕구 사이에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과 분석

The objective of this study was to empirically understand the mediating effect of the autonomy support, psychological needs, and resilience of adolescents attending a boxing sports club. This study selected and analyzed 172 adolescents participating in a boxing sports club. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability test, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and mediation effect analysis using PROCESS macro were conducted to obtain the following conclusions. First, the autonomy support of adolescents attending a boxing sports club was positively correlated to resilience and partially and positively correlated with psychological needs. Second, the choice and excitement of adolescents attending a boxing sports club affected positivity, while all sub-variables of autonomy support positively influenced self-control capabilities. Third, the choice of adolescents attending a boxing sports club had a positive effect on autonomy, competence, and relatedness. Fourth, resilience was a mediator variable in the relationship between the autonomy support and psychological needs of adolescents attending a boxing sports club.

이 연구는 복싱 판정의 공정성 제고 방안을 통해 심판의 역할과 전문성 확립을 제안하는데 목적을 두고 실시하게 되었다. 본 연구를 위해 복싱협회 관계자, 복싱 육성학교 지도자, 복싱관련 전공 교수 등 총 15명을 전문가집단으로 구성하 였다. 전문가집단을 통한 복싱 판정의 공정성 제고를 다음과 같이 도출하였다. 첫째, 복싱 판정 채점기준에 대한 공정성에 대한 의견은 복싱 심판들의 객관적 판단 강화, 명확한 채점기준 제시, 교육 및 연수 등을 통한 역량 강화, 학연 및 지연 등 주관적 채점 기준 배제. 실시간 득점표출 및 전자시스템 도입 등으로 나타났 다. 둘째, 복싱 심판의 공정성에 대한 의견은 주로 심판의 역량 강화와 오심에 대한 징계여부, 심판의 처우개선 등으로 나타났다. 셋째, 복싱 경기에 따른 이의신청 제도의 효과성을 위해서는 매 라운드별 리플레이 시스템 도입, 판정에 대한 결과는 매 라운드가 시작되기 전 공포, 실시간 활용가능한 이의신청 제도 도입, 경기 종료 후 이루어지는 이의신청 경기의 모니터링 등으로 나타났다. This study was conducted to propose the establishment of referees’ role and professionalism by improving the fairness of the boxing judgment. It organized a group of 15 experts including officials of boxing associations, coaches of boxing promotion schools, professors majoring in boxing, etc. It drew the following methods for improving the fairness of the boxing judgment from the expert group. First, the methods for improving the fairness of the boxing judgment scoring rubric including the enhancement of boxing referees’ objective judgment, the suggestion of a definite scoring rubric, the capacity building through education and training, the exclusion of subjective scoring rubrics such as school and regional ties, and the introduction of real-time score publication and electric systems. Second, the methods for improving the fairness of boxing referees including the capacity building of referees, penalties for wrong refereeing and the improvement of treatment for them. Third, the methods for improving the effectiveness of the objection system for boxing games include the introduction of the replay system by each round, the announcement of judgment results before each round, the introduction of the real-time objection system and the monitoring of games objected after the end of them.

The authors represented a clinical analysis on 31 patients with medulloblatoma who had been treated surgically at the Department of Neurosurgery, Yonsei Medical Center and Wonju Christian Hospital from Sept. 1967 to Aug. 1981. The results were summarized as follows ; 1) Among 31 patients, 19 were male and 12 were female. About 73% of cases were found under the age of 16 and male was predominant in this age group. 2) The most common clinical symptom was that of increased intracranial pressure(84%). Gait disturbance, generalized seizure and mental change were also found and duration of symptom was average 2.2 month. Neurological signs showed papilledema, cerebellar signs and lower cranial palsies. 3) Plain skull X-rays, carotid and vertebral angiography and conray ventriculography were useful diagnostic methods but brain CT scan was thought to be the most accurate, noninvasive and helpful method which showed size and location of tumor and relationship with surrounding structures. In brain CT scan hydrocephalus and compression 4th ventricle were found in 94%, and 88% revealed contrast enhancement. 4) Considering 1 year survival rate which was possible follow up in this study, microsurgical total excision of tumor followed by radiation herapy disclosed the best result for reducing recurrence and seeding of tumor among the current therapeute methods.
소형 무인 비행체 조종면 작동용 압전 복합재료 작동기 연구

본 논문은 기존의 유/공압 및 전기식 모터를 대체할 수 있는 경량, 고성능 지능소자 구동기를 설계/제작하고 이를 소형 무인비행체의 조종익 시스템에 적용 가능성을 연구한 것이다. 또한 압전 복합재료 작동기에 대한 성능평가를 수행하였으며, 유니모프 및 바이모프 형태의 작동기를 제작하여 각각의 작동 특성을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 성능시험 평과 결과를 통해 바이모프 형태의 작동기가 하중 유무와 무관하게 선형적인 받음각 변화를 가짐을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 지능소자 구동 시스템은 소형 로봇, 유도무기 및 MAV, UAV의 조종익 제어 시스템으로 사용될 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다. The purpose of the present study is to develop lightweight and simple smart actuators in order to replace conventional hydraulic/pneumatic actuators, and to apply the developed actuators to the actuation systems of a small unmanned air vehicle. This research describes the procedures of design, manufacturing of the piezo-composite actuator, and the performance evaluation. From the test results of the developed devices, we found the possibility of piezo-composite actuator could be used as a control surface of a small UAV system. We have designed and manufactured two kinds of piezo-composite actuators, unimorph actuator and bimorph actuator. The manufactured actuators were evaluated through the performance testes. It was found that the bimorph type actuator showed more linear angle change for the same excitation voltage variation than unimorph type. It is expected that piezo-composite actuator has a possibility to be used not only as a control surface of small unmanned flying vehicle but also as a control surface actuator of a guided missile fin through the miniaturization of power supply and control system.
