Today, with the development of information and communication technology, information media is diversifying and the speed at which information is distributed is also accelerating, but it is becoming more difficult for information vulnerable groups such as the elderly. This digital divide among the elderly is causing another form of life gap. Accordingly, this study attempted to identify the level of the elderly's use of information devices and analyze the effect of the elderly's use of information devices on life satisfaction (an analysis of the mediating effect of self-integration). The purpose of the specific study is as follows. First, it was intended to find out the impact of the level of use of information devices on the elderly's life satisfaction, such as the relationship between the level of use of information devices (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) and the mediating effect of self-integration. Second, it was intended to find out differences in digital literacy such as whether the elderly have and use information devices according to socio-demographic characteristics, quantitative and qualitative digital literacy. Third, we would like to find out the difference in self-integration and life satisfaction of the elderly according to the level of use of information devices by residential areas such as cities and rural areas. To achieve this goal, a survey was conducted on 280 men and women aged 65 or older living in Seoul, urban areas, Gyeonggi-do, and eup and myeon areas across the country, and the following results were confirmed as a result of analyzing the impact on self-integration and life satisfaction by level of information device use.

Cellulolytic enzymes were prepared from alkaline resistant microorganisms which were newly screened from calcic soil. Characteristics of enzymes and enzymatic deinking efficiency of wastepaper were investigated. The results were summarized as fellows: 1. The recovery rate of crude enzyme was 93.7% in Bio-B and 57.4% in Bio-F. 2. The protein content in crude enzymes was lowest and the thermal stability of crude enzymes was highest in Bio-F. 3. The brightness gain of Bio-F deinked pulp was best in ONP and Bio-B deinked pulp was best in MOW. 4. The reject yield was increased with enzymatic deinking flotation process. 5. The residual ink area of paper was increased with enzymatic deinking and large size of ink particles were remained in paper.

Annals of the Joseon Dynasty were composed of 1,229 volumes, and the 475 copies of total annals were wax-treated. Compared to non-wax treated copies, waxed volume of annals were seriously damaged such as crack, stick, discoloration to brown or black, and partially degradation. It is believed that the purpose of wax treatment for some volumes in the annals of the Joseon Dynasty is to prevent paper to deteriorate and to keep for the long time. But, beeswax could be deteriorated itself more rapidly. As a result, the waxed volume was much more damaged than non-waxed volume. Therefore, the investigation of decomposition and deterioration mechanism of beeswax-treated paper which might be used in waxed volume of the annals of the Joseon Dynasty must be done in order to prevent further decomposition and to restore the degraded wax-treated copies of the annals. For basis data of this purpose, physical properties of beeswax-treated paper be analyzed by coating methods. In result, sample products was manufactured reproducibility in lab scale. Specially, beeswax-treated method improved a orientation of papers. And the brushing method was stronger than the dipping method.

Enzymatic pulping properties of mixed office waste paper in standard disintegrator were investigated for successful enzymatic deinking of mixed office waste paper. Enzymatic pulping need more revolution in standard disintegrator than alkaline pulping and Cellusoft need more revolution than Denimax. The freeness of disintegrated pulp with enzyme was higher than those of disintegrated pulps with alkaline and heat killed enzyme. The freeness of disintegrated pulp with Denimax was higher than that of disintegrated pulp with Cellusoft. The freeness of disintegrated pulps were increased with a dosage of enzymes. The mechanical properties of disintegrated pulp were improved with enzyme addition comparing with heat killed enzyme. The tensile and burst index of hand sheet of disintegrated pulps with acidic Cellusoft were higher than that of others.
