본 연구는 장애인의 정보통신보조기기 보조기기 이용 현황 및 정보통신 보조기기 사용에 대한 인식 및 관련 정보 전달 방법 및 지원 확대 품목에 대한 실제적인 요구를 파악하여, 좀더 체계적인 정보통신보조기기를 사용하도록 하고 보급의 활성화를 위한 방법을 모색하고자 실시되었다. 정보통신보조기기를 사용하는 장애인은 2002년과 2004년 장애인 정보격차 실태 조사를 바탕으로, 장애유형별 정보통신 보조기기 및 특수 SW 사용비율에 근거하여 비례 할당하였으며, 미사용장애인은 장애인복지법에 등록돼 있는 장애인의 성별, 지역별, 장애유형별, 장애등급별로 비례할당 후 무작위 추출하여 전문조사업체를 통해 면접 또는 전화로 설문조사 하였다. 본 조사 결과, 정보통신 보조기기 보급정책에 대한 개선 사항으로 1인당 정보통신 보조기기 지원 확대, 품목의 다양화, 관련 정보 및 교육을 제공하여 일상생활 및 직업 생활에서의 삶의 질에 대해 재고해보는 것을 요구하였다. 따라서 앞으로 장애인에게 필요한 정보통신 보조기기를 보급하기 위해 개별적 진단-처방-일상생활 적용을 연계지을 수 있는 실효성있는 연구가 이루어져야할 것이다. This study researched into how the person with disability access and use electronic and information technology assistive device and how they realize the importance and the need of electronic and information technology assistive device on purpose to produce the basic data and resource for making systematic and comprehensive public policy which was affecting electronic and information technology assistive device development and supply of assistive device. The individuals with disability who accessed and used electronic and information technology assistive device were allotted proportionally with the ratio of use electronic and information technology and specialized software by type of their disability. On the other hand, the ones, who did not access and use electronic and information technology assistive device and who registered on the list of the individuals with disability legally, are allotted proportionally with gender, region, type of disability, grade of disability. The group for a survey was formed randomly and interviewed or phoned by a professional survey agency. A survey showed the majority of the individuals with disability required a change for the better, such as a various support, a expanding items and numbers of the person who is aided. A lot of the individuals with disability strongly agreed that the policy related with electronic and information technology assistive device supply needs to be developed, for example, increase of assistive device supply per person, the multiplicity of assistive device items and the service of related information and education.

학령전기의 장애유아들은 인지적으로 감각운동기와 전조작기에서 고착되었거나 혹은 그와 관련하여 더욱 풍부한 자극을 요구한다. 이 시기의 아동들은 주로 지속적이고 반복적인 신체의 움직임에 의하여 자신과 주위의 세계를 보다 정교하게 탐색할 수 있다. 따라서 학령전기 장애유아들의 교육과 치료는 아동의 신체를 적극적으로 자극하고 이를 주위의 환경과 통합할 수 있는 방향으로 이루어져야 한다. 이러한 점에서 놀이는 학령전기 장애유아의 교육과 치료의 가장 중요한 수단이 될 수 있다. 놀이의 교육적 가치는 놀이가 다양하게 분류될 수 있는 만큼 다양하게 설명될 수 있다. 한국전통 아동놀이는 음률과 반복적인 리듬감 있는 신체적인 자극에 의하여 아동이 자연스럽게 신체의 활동을 통합할 수 있게 할 뿐만 아니라, 동작의 다음 상황을 아동이 기대함으로써 적극적이고 능동적으로 놀이 활동에 참여할 수 있는 기회를 제공할 수 있다. 또한 양육자와 상호작용을 통한 다양한 자극은 아동의 감각능력과 사회적 참조 능력을 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한 한국전통 아동놀이는 부모들이 놀이의 내용과 활동방법을 쉽게 표상할 수 있기 때문에 이를 다양하게 응용할 수 있는 준거를 제공하는 장점이 있다. 따라서 학령전기 장애유아의 교육에 있어서 전문화되고 특성화된 교육방법 못지 않게, 일상적인 방법이 가정에서 지속적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다고 할 수 있다. This paper reviews studies on the play for the children with special needs. The educational value of play can be explained variously according to its classifications. In this view Korea traditional children play can be regarded as a protocol of play. Because traditional play has a character of continuity. According to the study Korea traditional play can allow opportunities of integration of children's body activities. The rhythmical and repeated progress of play can produce for children to expect next situations of playing. And stimulations between caregivers and children can enhance children's social reference. So Korea traditional children play can be applied for the children with special needs.
