        여고생의 성지식, 성태도 및 자궁경부암 지식이 인유두종바이러스 지식에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the influences of sex-relatedl knowledge, sex-related attitude and knowledge of cervical cancer on knowledge of human papilloma virus (HPV) among female high school students. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with a convenience sample of 545 second-grade female high school students of three different schools. Results: Knowledge of HPV was positively correlated with sex-related knowledge (r=.36, p<.001), sex-related attitude (r=.14 p=.001) and knowledge of cervical cancer (r=.62, p<.001). Significant predictors affecting knowledge of HPV among female high school students were knowledge of cervical cancer (${\beta}$=.57) and sex-related knowledge (${\beta}$=.11), explaining 39.6% of the variance in knowledge of cervical cancer among female high school students (F=178.34, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on the outcomes of this study, in order to improve knowledge of HPV among female high school students, school based sexual education linked to HPV and cervical cancer must be included in the curriculum.

        호스피스 자원봉사자의 죽음에 대한 태도와 감성지능이 생의 의미에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the influences of emotional intelligence and attitudes about death on hospice volunteers' perception of life as meaningful. Methods: In this study, 232 hospice volunteers who were serving at 3 university hospitals and 7 general hospitals for 6 months or longer. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires from January 20 to February 15, 2016. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent-tests, one way ANOVAs, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analyses with SPSS 21.0. Results: Hospice volunteers' perception of life as meaningful was positively correlated with their attitudes toward death and emotional intelligence. The significant predictors of perception of meaning were emotional intelligence, attitudes toward death, religion and perceived health status. These variables explained 41.0% of the variance in hospice volunteers' perception of life as meaningful. Conclusion: These results suggest that hospice volunteers perceptions of life as meaningful can be changed positively by increasing emotional intelligence and positive attitudes about death.

        간호대학생의 간호전문직관, 도덕적 민감성 및 비판적 사고성향이 도덕적 용기에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influences of nursing professionalism, moral sensitivity, and critical thinking disposition on the moral courage of nursing students. Methods: The subject included 200 nursing students from two universities located in D city of South Korea. Data were collected from June 18 to 26, 2018 by using self-reported questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using the IBM SPSS 25.0 program. Results: The factors which influenced the moral courage in nursing students were moral sensitivity (β=.35, p<.001), critical thinking disposition (β=.25, p=.001), and neutral satisfaction on nursing major (β=-.16, p=.008). This model had 32.6% explanation of moral courage of nursing students. Conclusion: These results suggest that to improve moral courage in nursing students, an intervention that enhances their moral sensitivity, critical thinking, and satisfaction on nursing major should be considered.

        간호대학생의 생명의료윤리의식, 도덕적 민감성 및 도덕 판단력에 관한 간호윤리교육의 효과

        본 연구는 간호윤리교육이 간호대학생의 생명의료윤리의식,도덕적 민감성, 도덕 판단력에 미치는 효과를 파악하여 간호윤리교육의 개선방안을 모색하고자 실시되었다. 연구 대상은 2개 4년제 간호학과 3학년에 재학 중인 실험군 65명, 대조군 52명이며, 연구설계는 비동등성 대조군 전후설계를 이용하였다. 총 12차에 걸친 간호윤리교육 결과, 실험군이 대조군에 비해 생명의료윤리의 식과 도덕적 민감성과 도덕 판단력의 P값은 유의하게 증가되었다. 그러나 도덕 판단력의 4단계 점수는 두 군 간에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 따라서 추후 연구에서는 간호대학생들의 생명의료윤리의식, 도덕적 민감성, 도덕 판단력 외에도 간호윤리교육의 효과를 평가할 수 있는 다양한 지표와 교수기법이 개발되어야 할 필요성이 있다. This study was performed to evaluate the effects of nursing ethics education on biomedical ethics awareness, moral sensitivity, and moral judgment of nursing students, and to find ways to improve nursing ethics education. Participants were 117 undergraduate nursing students in two universities, assigned to an experimental group (65 students) and a control group (52 students). A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design with repeated measures was used. 12 weeks after the nursing ethics education, the experimental group reported significantly higher scores of biomedical ethics awareness, moral sensitivity, and P scores of moral judgment than the control group. On the contrary, no statistically significant differences were found in the 4 stage scores of moral judgment. Therefore, in further study, it is necessary to develop various indicators and teaching methods for evaluating the effects of nursing ethics education.

        간호윤리교육이 간호학생의 생명윤리의식과 비판적 사고성향에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 간호윤리교육이 간호학생의 생명윤리의식과 비판적 사고성향에 미치는 영향을 파악하여, 간호윤리 교과목 운영의 개선방안을 모색하고자 실시되었다. 연구 대상은 일 간호대학 RN-BSN 과정에 재학 중인 36명의 간호학생이며, 연구 설계는 단일군 전후설계를 이용하였다. 간호윤리교육 결과, 생명윤리의식은 윤리교육 시행 전보다 시행 후에 유의하게 증가되었으며, 하위영역에서는 비정상적 임신과 출산, 출산거부 영역에서 윤리교육 시행 전보다 시행 후에 유의하게 증가되었다. 그러나 비판적 사고성향은 교육 시행전후에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 따라서 추후 연구에서는 간호사의 생명윤리의식과 비판적 사고성향을 향상시킬 수 있는 간호윤리교육과정과 교수전략이 개선되어야 할 필요성이 있다. This study was done to identify the effects of a nursing ethics education on bioethics awareness and critical thinking dispositions of nurses enrolled in RN-BSN program at a university in Korea, and to find ways to improve nursing ethics education. The research was done in a one group pretest-posttest for a quasi-experimental study. There were statistically significant differences among pre and post in the bioethics awareness, and among sub-region, abnormal pregnancy, childbirth and maternity denial factor were highly significant. On the contrary, no statistically significant differences were found in the critical thinking dispositions. Therefore, in further study, it is necessary to develop the curriculum and teaching strategies for improving nurses' bioethics awareness and critical thinking dispositions.

        인지행동간호중재가 방사선 치료 중인 유방암 여성의 불안과 우울에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of a cognitive-behavioral nursing intervention on anxiety and depression of patients with breast cancer undergoing radiotherapy. Methods: A nonequivalent control group design was used for the study. The research participants were patients with breast cancer (N=71; experimental group=35, comparison group=36) who received radiotherapy at P university hospital. The experimental group received a 6-week cognitivebehavioral nursing intervention (2 hr/week), which included nursing counseling, education about treatment choices for breast cancer and possible side effects and management strategies during radiotherapy, and rehabilitation exercise. Results: Following the intervention, the experimental group showed significantly lower levels of anxiety (Experimental group=34.60 ±6.35, Comparison group=44.63±9.93, t=3.552, p<.001) and depression (Experimental group=10.20±6.61, Comparison group=17.81±10.85, t=3.542, p<.001) than the comparison group. Conclusion: The findings from this study showed that cognitive-behavioral counseling applied by nurses is very effective to reduce anxiety and depression among patients with breast cancer. Therefore, providing nursing counseling to broader spectrum of patients with cancer should be considered. Further research would warrant future clinical application of nursing counseling.

        간호사의 생명윤리의식

        Although the studies related to nursing ethics which have been reported in Korea mostly concerns the area between nurses and the subjects, the area where nurses experience most seriously in ethical dilemma has become the area of human life. The study was conducted from October 4 to 15, 2005 with 312 nurses currently working at a hospital in D city. The objective of this study is to examine how clinical nurses as medical practitioners understand specifically about the ethics related to the beginning of life, the ethics related to the end of life. The degree of bioethics awareness of nurses showed relatively high and statistically significant in: (1) age, educational status and religion on demographic characteristics; (2) the degree of establishing one`s own ethical value system and the ethical decision-making criteria in ethical characteristics; and (3) satisfaction on nursing profession, application of ethical principles in nursing practice and interest in participating in ethics education in nursing characteristics. Therefore, it will further urge the interests of nurses on bioethics as well as serve as basic data for establishing the future nursing ethics education program.

        여고생 딸을 둔 어머니의 인유두종 바이러스와 자궁경부암 지식및 딸의 인유두종 백신접종 실태

        Purpose: The goal of this study was to examine knowledge level of human papillomavirus (HPV), cervical cancer, and vaccination status among Korean mothers` with a daughter in high school. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with a convenience sample of 234 Korean mothers. Results: The mean score of HPV knowledge level was 4.21 out of 20, and cervical cancer knowledge was 3.88 out of 7. There were low levels of daughters` who received HPV vaccination (3.8%) and high levels of mothers` intention to get their daughters` vaccinated with HPV(85.0%). The major barrier to HPV vaccination was the concern for side effect from the vaccination. The most effective recommendation for HPV vaccination came from health care providers. Conclusion: HPV educational programs tar-getting mothers of daughters in high school is needed. Future studies need to determine actual HPV vaccination rates and factors related to high uptake using a larger sample from various socioeconomic background.
