        영 유아 기질측정 척도 (IBQ) 의 타당화에 관한 일 연구

        The purpose of this study was to validate the IBQ scale (Infant Behavior Questionnaire; Rothbart, 1981). This study examined the validity, reliability and overall tendency of temperamental traits on the IBQ scale. The subjects were 453 mothers with 3-, 6-, 9-, 12-, 15- and 18-month -old infants (232 boys and 221 girls) living in Seoul and Chongju. The IBQ scale, was composed of 56 items (5-point Likert scales), was administered to mothers, using the interview method. Factor analysis revealed that a 6- factor solution was the best fit for the IBQ scale; positive emotionality, attention persistence, approach or withdrawal, negative emotionality, distractability and activity. Cronbach`s α ranged from .61 to .79 for the subscales and .79 for the total scale. It was concluded that the IBQ scale in general is acceptable for use in Korea.

        아버지 -아동관계에 관한 이론적 고찰

        The purpose of this study is to systematize the theory of the father-child relationship by analyzing the father`s role and father-child interaction. The results of this study are as followings: (1) The oedipal period 3 to 5 years is a critical in development of the father-child relationship. Father absence is assumed in infancy but it is denying because the father participates in Child-rearing activity. (2) The Father`s role is symbolized instrumental role traditionally and culturally but it is appropriate that we think the father`s role to be androgynous concepts. Instrumental role as well as expressive role is expected to father`s role. (3) The role of the father is supplementary mother`s role. The father provides economic, emotional support and helps the balanced child-rearing. This indirect role of the father is very important. (4) The father influences child development, and his role is to be sex-role model, to contrieve personality internalize moral development. But it is needed more empirical study to clarify father`s effects on child development. (5) The amount of time that fathers spend with their children is less than mothers, but it is not assumed that difference of this amount of time do not differently influence to the children. (6) There are much similarity that difference between father-child interaction and mother-child interaction. Qualitative difference in interaction is response style. A responsive style of the father is physical, intellectual, instructive but mother`s is verbal (7) The effects of the father to a child must be analyzed on dyadic dimension and triadic dimension of family network. In triadic dimension, father influences mother-child relationship, mother to response sensitively, husband-wife relation.

        영유아 부모의 놀이참여태도 척도 타당화 연구

        본 연구는 영유아 부모를 위한 놀이참여태도 척도의 타당도를 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 질문지는 영유아 자녀의 놀이에 대한 부모의 참여태도를 측정하기 위해, 본 연구자들이 델파이 조사를 통해 개발한 33개 자기보고식 질문지를 사용하였고, 예비조사를 거쳐 문항의 가독성과 의미전달 정도를 파악하였다. 본 조사는 서울 및 인천 지역에 위치한 9곳의 어린이집에 재원 중인 영유아 부모 447명을 대상으로 수행되었으며, 최종적으로 339명의 자료를 이용하여 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석과 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영유아 부모를 위한 놀이참여태도 척도의 구인타당도를 검증한 결과, ‘민감하게 놀기(7문항),’ ‘반응적으로 놀기(6문항),’ 그리고 ‘즐겁게 놀기(7문항)’의 3개 요인 총 20문항으로 정리되었고, 3요인 모형의 적합도는 우수한 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 영유아 부모를 위한 놀이참여태도 척도의 내적일관성은 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 영유아 부모를 위한 놀이참여태도 척도의 공인타당도를 검증한 결과, 본 척도와 부모의 놀이성과는 통계적으로 유의미한 정적상관을 나타내어 공인타당도가 확인되었다. 마지막으로, 영유아 부모를 위한 놀이참여태도 척도는 부모의 양육스트레스와 유아의 자기조절능력을 예측하는 준거타당도가 있음이 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통해 타당화된 영유아부모를 위한 놀이참여태도 척도는 자녀의 놀이에 참여하는데 있어 부모의 어떠한 태도가 적합한지를 제안하는 부모교육자료로 활용되거나 자녀와의 놀이 참여 태도 개선 및 향상을 위한 부모교육프로그램이나 놀이치료의 효과성을 평가하는 지표로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to validate the Play Participation Attitude Scale for parents of preschoolers, which was developed by the Delphi survey. 447 parents of 9 daycare centers in Seoul and Incheon were recruited for this study and, finally, data from 339 parents were used to perform exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and reliability analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, factor analyses revealed that the global fit of the sensitively play (7 items), responsively play (6 items), and delightfully play(7 items) three-factor model was good. Second, the internal consistency of the Play Participation Attitude Scale was good. Third, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between the current scale and the parents’ playfulness scale, indicating concurrent validity. Finally, higher scores of the Play Participation Attitude Scale and its three factors significantly predicted lower scores of parenting stress and higher scores of the preschoolers’ self-control ability. These findings revealed that this new measure to be both valid and reliable and specifically suggests what kind of attitude is appropriate for parents to adopt when participating in preschoolers’ play.

        어머니의 양육스트레스와 영유아의 교육기관 적응의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships of mothers` parenting stress and young children`s adjustment to the child care centers they attend. The subjects for this study comprised 401 young children from 1 to 4 years of age from 11 child care centers in C-si, Chungnam, and their mothers. The results of this study were as follows:First, there were no significant differences in the parenting stress of mothersrelated to whether they were working or not, the age of the children nor their gender Second, there were no significant differences in the adjustment of young children to their child care center related to their mothers` work status nor age of the children themselves. However, there was a significant difference in relation to the gender of the young children in that girls were better in their adjustment to the child care center than boys. Third, a negative correlation appeared between mothers` parenting stress and their young children`s adjustment to the child care center in that the higher maternal parenting stress was, the greater the difficulties for their young children in their adjustment to the child care center. There were significant negatively correlations between most sub-factors of maternal parenting stress and the adjustment of those children to the child care center.

        The purposes of this study were to explore the practices of designing portfolio and to investigate evaluation criteria. The characteristics of portfolio assessment, strategies for organizing and setting up portfolio assessment were discussed. And it were developed examples of evaluation criteria for portfolio assessment. These provide guidelines for portfolio assessment to early childhood education teachers.

      • 住居形態에 따른 兒童의 社會的 行動硏究 : 단독주택과 고층아파트를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the children`s social behavior in housing type and to discover the suggestions for the social development of children and improvements of dwelling environment. The subjects for the study included 190 children of individual dwelling and 193 children of high-rise apartment dwelling to attend 1.3.5 grade primary school in Seoul. The instrument used in this study is a questionnare with 12 items designed to measure the children`s social behavior in housing type. Data analysis consisted of percentage and Chi-square. The results obtained from this study were summarized as follows: 1. The results of the below-listed relationships were founded statistically significant differences. 1) play behavior . housing type and floor of apartment and place to spend most time . housing type and place to play . housing type and the inconvenient reason place to play . housing type and the person who mainly play with 2) neighborhood relationship`s behavior . housing type and residential periods and number of friend . housing type and location of friend` house . housing type and behavior to conform . housing type and use of house surrounding` service 2. The relationship between sex and children` social behavior in housing type was not a statistically significant differences in particular. 3. suggestions and improvements of dwelling environment for the social development of children was. 1) to form services and an circles which could be associated with neightbor friend. 2) to enlarge and improve play services. 3) to study appropriate housing type for children.

      • 방과후 아동지도에 대한 초등학교장의 인식 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognitions of the elementary school principals' about after-school childcare. The subjects consisted of 180 elementary school principals from elementary schools in Seoul and Kyungkido. The questionnare was developed with 19 items. The data were analyzed by frequency(f) and percentage(%) using the SPSS/PC+ package system. The results of the survey were as follows ; 1.Principals recognized the necessity of the after-school childcare and the reason was to be a great expense of the Private education to parents. 2.To establish facilities of after-school childcare was evaluated positively and the Priority of solving task was facilities and equipments, financials to manage in order. 3.Teachers for after-school childcare were peoples to be educated in college and university or to have the teacher lience above elementary school. 4.The subjects of after-school childcare were all children to want, time to manage was from after school to 4:30 P.M. and the expenditure of care must be supported by the government and the local body.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the current conditions of after-school childcare through the literature and to discuss the problems and prospects with execution of after-school childcare in elementary school. The problems and prospects of after-school childcare were discussed the legal and administrative supports, management and responsibilities about children's security, facilities and equipments, financial supports, teacher, developing program, parent participation, a steering committee. After-school childcare in elementary school is desirable to plan connecting with after-school special activities which is generally attempted in elementary school now. And the very important elements with execution of it headmaster's recognitions and decisions.

      • 유아문해교육에 대한 접근방법 탐색

        This study analyzed the traits, a view point of literacy development, and instructional practices of approaches to young children's literacy education. The analysis was based on Code Emphasis Approach, Whole Language Approach and Balanced Approach. Each approach has many advantages and weak points and there is no one right way because one program could not satisfy every children's needs. The important points to note are that whole language must be accepted as beliefs and philosophy of literacy education as well as all language arts, and that we need to consider balanced approach as a alternative strategy in phonics teaching for young children.
