Objectives: This study was undertaken in order to evaluate by work space zoning and structure the concentrations of biological contaminants in the indoor air of domestic office buildings. Methods: Air samples were collected in the office spaces of 15 office buildings in Seoul from June 28 to July 28, 2011. Prior to the sampling, each office was classified into 'open-plan office', 'cellular office' and 'mixed office' according to the work space zoning. To evaluate the biological contamination of indoor air, total suspended bacteria (TSB), Gram positive bacteria (GPB), Staphylococcus aureus (S.A), Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Gram negative bacteria (GNB) and fungi were investigated. During the sampling, temperature, relative humidity and carbon dioxide ($CO_2$) were measured. Results: The TSB concentrations ($GM{\pm}GSD$) were $452({\pm}1.3)cfu/m^3$ in open-plan offices, $366({\pm}1.3)cfu/m^3$ in cellular offices and $287({\pm}1.5)cfu/m^3$ in mixed offices, and there were significant differences between the three groups (p<0.05). The highest concentrations ($GM{\pm}GSD$) of fungi were found in the indoor air of cellular offices $128({\pm}1.0)cfu/m^3$, which was at least three times higher than the concentrations in mixed offices $43({\pm}1.0)cfu/m^3$ (p<0.05). Conclusions: Microbiological contamination in the indoor air of office buildings by work space structure was the highest with the open-plan office layout which includes no high walls or doors separating the occupants.

The aim of this study is to offer the modified International Logistics Business Model (focusing on the port hinterlands in Korea) between Korea and China based on the evaluation of the previous research proposed by Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Two Models are suggested; one is a Model of Integrated Distribution and Management for Export-Import which is suitable for conglomerate and the other is a Model of Consolidation and Distribution for imported raw materials that can be used by small businesses. It is expected that Enterprises accomplish their goal of reducing logistics cost and improving profit with the application of International Logistics Business Model between Korea and China.

SMEs importing raw materials is sensitive to changes in the external environment depending on its nature of business. Therefore, the SMEs should complement the resources available to respond to the environmental changes with external partner companies. This study aims to analyze the relationship among building factors, relations factors and performance of SMEs importing raw materials on the supply chain partnership perspective. Depending on the purpose of the research, eight hypotheses have been proposed on the 106 SMEs. As a Result of the analysis, interdependence has influenced commitment significantly but not trust. On the other hand, communication has a significant effect on both trust and commitment. And trust has a significant impact on both commitment and collaboration. Also, commitment has a positive impact on collaboration which affects performance positively. Based on the results of this study, theoretical and practical implications have been discussed and study limitations and future research directions have been described.

Objectives: Indoor air quality problems in public spaces have recently become a very important issue in South Korea, because many spend a long time every day indoors. In this study, an extensive literature review was performed on the subject of suspended bacteria and fungi in public facilities. The objective of this study was to evaluate the extent and types of suspended bacteria and fungi in indoor air in South Korea. This study will provide direction to the research in the field of indoor air. Methods: Article reviews was conducted using a search engine and the following keywords; 'bacteria', 'total suspended bacteria', 'fungi' and 'indoor air' from published articles since 2000. Results: Most of the places of measurement were schools, kindergartens, childcare centers and general hospitals. The highest concentrations of total suspended bacteria and fungi were found in schools and kindergartens. Some public facilities exceeded the standard of 800 CFU/$m^3$. There were few studies on other suspended bacteria: Gram Negative Bacteria, Staphylococcus and Klebsiella pneumoniae. Conclusions: It appears that more studies with intensive controls are needed. It was found that schools and kindergartens were most susceptible to microbial indoor air pollution. These results may be able to suggest an indoor standard for suspended bacteria and fungi in South Korea.
