This paper concerned on the development of electronic control system for 3 dimensional 3-D scanning type measuring machine. This work achived by Taejon National University reserch team in consortium with Dukin Co. research menbers. In recentaly the automation system is repidly introduced in local factory, but the 3 dimensional machine are fully incomes from foreign country, thereof the development of machine is importantly necessary for the self technical power. In this consideration our university and Dukin Co., LTD. started to develop the machine in consortium relation. This 4th subject is to develop the improved and accurate electronic control system for 3-D measuring machine. In the results, very accurate and high performance products can be developed.

This paper deals the development of 1-D scanning type electronic probe for three dimensional measuring machine. In our country, the technique of develop electronic probe is too short, there of perfectedly in come from foreign countrys. In first step project, we developed the single touch type electronic probe and the last year in second step project, we developed the scanning type electronic probe which more widely used in position control and the performance is rised up more than first step project. In the results, we obtain the scanning range is ±2.5㎛ and resolution is 10㎛, 1㎛, 0.2㎛(option) and linearity in 0.2㎛/5mm, repeat ability in 0.5㎛. There of in the furture we will develop the motor driving type which widely used, in expensive and high accuracy.

This paper deals on the Hardware development of 3-D scanning type electronic probe for 3-D measuring machine. 3-D measuring machine usually used in products management, high cost needs for decision measurement. This decision measurement needs more and more caused by local factory becomes automation. This research used LVDT scanning type sensor which this sensor can be accurate in short length and also used in compact space, there of LVDT measuring range ±1.25[mm]and resolution 0.1[㎛]have been complished. In the future more develop the electronic control parts and software, this probe will be used in the world widely with power.

This paper deals with the development of single touch type probe for three dimensional instrument. In our local situations, the electronic probe is perfectly income from foreign country, so the development of electronic probe is very important. The characteristics of here developmented switching type electronic probe will be used widely for numerical machines, robot end effectors, etc. of decision position sensor. This project is proceeded in join with DUK IN Co., and University Research teams. The back ground of research and necessity is classified three parts. The first, Machine body design and manufacturing technique for example when the instrument is moving the rotation error and geometry error is occurs, this problems will be considered. Second, when the machine is transported the technique of servo motor and scale count communication technique, safety device and additional control technique is necessary. Third, the software technique for the user, must be developed for user's comfortability and necessity, with this proceducer, switching touch type electronic probe is designed and two times the sample is manufactured and tested. With the results, compared with the production of Reinshaw goods, the deviation is still remain 0.6㎛ and hish characteristic is obtained. Moreover, for the increase of accuracy and wide range use, the motor driving type must be developed in the future.
